Exchanges come and go like any other sites in crypto. I don't trust them, but I use it, becouse currently it seems to be one of the best exchange. Who knows what will come tomorrow? I never keep bigger amount on any site for longer time.

Yes, you are right. We never should forget that all online-based businesses are permanently on risk of disappearing, being hacked or facing multiple problems sooner or later. It is true that poloniex has been working well these years but it does not guarantee anything in future years, so we only should invest or hold here the coins that we could afford to lose.

Waiting for them to enable XCN withdrawals before I regain my full trust in that exchange.
XCN? what coin that? Is that coin ever listed on Poloniex before? you can see my img on here and there is not any coins which called XCN
-snip-
If that coin already delisted from Poloniex (assuming you did typo),i don't think poloniex will re-enable its withdrawals again.

Yes it is called XCN, I don't even know why you asked that question Huh

And if Poloniex don't enable withdrawals, that means they literally stole people's money Undecided
Because as you can see from my img above, i already listed all of coins in Poloniex started with X.., but i'm not found any coin which calle XCN. Is it got delisted before?

all exchanger still requirement about delisted coin,
if coin not reliable trader and volume transaction is very low, very low community user so coin can delisted
because coin not reliable is danger to client can big lost money

Poloniex has been around for a couple of years or so. It became quite know right after the Mintpal shutdown where a lot of people got ripped apart. The thing is... we cannot trust in any exchange. What I do is I try to keep only what's needed in the exchange because I can never know for sure if I will lose access to my coins.
But overall, I have been using Poloniex since the beginning and apart from some down times I've never had a bad experience.
I have been using poloniex at the beginning, still all are going smoothly.Could not find out any bad with this...
Yeah!An online wallet always involved with risk.

Poloniex or whatever - no trust.

Not that I can't trust them too but their are exchange and anything could happen to them like they could just say they are hacked the same day you deposit your retirement cash to buy btc and then they shutdown themselves. I still don't fully trust any exchange even polo. Yobit has been around for years, they kept messing coins and it looks like they are involved in pumping and dumping coins which we can consider scam yet they are still around like polo. Openledger seem not scam but they are new.

I wouldn't conclude on that If I were you. Exchanges have built in Security measures most traders and users usually ignore. Most of those features is the use of 2 Factor Auth. Once You got that Set up, That will improve the security of your accounts  (Including the funds inside too). And about The Pumping and dumping controversy surrounding Poloniex, I believe They're not part of it.
I don't find perfectly that how  the OP got problem with  the poloniex . Because in my opinion the poloniex is the big exchange then other , at this exchange we have not only the service of exchange altcoin and bitcoin  and but also have the fascility of marginal , which proveb the poloniex as best And fast trading with your altcoin .
Well here another thing that have any problem like attacker of sites ( I am directing you toward the ETH problem in the last year ).
But here I  myself never faced any problem with the yobit.net .

I trust Poloniex but not absolute trust, for me is still be best Altcoins market, I like Bittrex too but the volume is low when compare to Poloniex.

You said the main issue you have with them is that they are selective in listing of coins, they need to, we now have so many shitcoins out there running potential Ponzi scheme and getting listed on Poloniex is going to fuel them and make them spread like fire robbing people their BTC. Another issue is the security, this is first for most of these exchanges, connecting to any network at will, would expose them to danger of been hacked.

I am working on poloniex and some other exchanges but in them I like poloniex because I do not have faced any issue from them. Some people have complaints but not they do not have those issues it was only the beginning. Now it is in progress.

Why didn't you withdraw before it got delisted?

They delisted RDD as well, but I withdrew before the deadline and got my coins out without problem.

Bittrex, Poloniex, Kraken are most trustful exchanges, even Yobit with their shady trades and many wallets in maintenance mode still hold some of my coins. If you want to trade then you must risk. We all know what can happened but we are accepting this, at least we can chose. Once GOX was most reliable exchange, same as MINTPAL, CRYPTSY..
