I have started to use Poloniex recently, and it seems a reliable exchange, however it is well known that any bitcoin-based business is 100% reliable. Hackers and scammers are smart guys and they are everywhere these days, that is why I am very cautious all the time.

Waiting for them to enable XCN withdrawals before I regain my full trust in that exchange.
XCN? what coin that? Is that coin ever listed on Poloniex before? you can see my img on here and there is not any coins which called XCN
-snip-
If that coin already delisted from Poloniex (assuming you did typo),i don't think poloniex will re-enable its withdrawals again.

Yes it is called XCN, I don't even know why you asked that question Huh

And if Poloniex don't enable withdrawals, that means they literally stole people's money Undecided
Because as you can see from my img above, i already listed all of coins in Poloniex started with X.., but i'm not found any coin which calle XCN. Is it got delisted before?

Yes it got delisted just on January 4th with a number of other coins. And Poloniex admins promised to enable the withdrawals for this coin. Still waiting though...

Who doesn't trust Poloniex?  They are the pinnacle of exchanges.  They have no reason to commit fraud or scams since the amount of money they are making off of fees are substantial.  My only complaint would be they are too selective on which coins to add these days.

Your only complaint is what makes them an even better exchange.

Everything else I agree with. I leave a few btc and alts on there at all times.

No other exchange would I or do I.

Hello as this is the post base on 2 years ago

But for me, Poloniex is a tier 1 exchange, as if you compare most other exchange, poloniex have great competitive edge, the margin trading feature is really good, as i have no clue if we have any other exchange which have margin trading

Bittrex yes, Yobit yes, Bitstamp yes, Kraken yes. But poloniex is what I use most often with the longest hours online per day, I am 100% sure.
Bittrex and Yobit no from me, too many shit coins on there. The best are Poloniex and C-Cex as exchanger sites, i had been used both of exchange site since 2 years ago, had a little problem on poloniex, but it was already solved with fast service from them. Poloniex looks like "Premium" exchanger for me, it is just listed some great alt coins and will delisted some when the volume is too low.

- "Answered within 24 hours", but I usually wait 2 or 3 days, sometimes 5 days
- I'm really not happy about the support of poloniex

if youre problem, and reply support helping is slow
you can ask moderator in chatbox poloniex about youre sending ticket
after your discuss about sending ticket is slow response, i think youre problem can fast response and reply youre about problem
- Thank you, hope that they will soon solve my problem
- I was really disappointed in the support of poloniex

Out of all exchange polo is some what best exchange in the form of security and support. Their support people are very active in answering your question, even you will find lot of coin where you can trade with your money. If you are afraid of hacking better activate 2fa to your account we have an option. Even in polo we have an option for lending btc.

They have a good service, at least I had no problems using it. But you have to be careful with any exchange, you should not put all the eggs in the same basket. It's is a good place to trade, especially for having a wide variety of altcoins. However, exchanges are not the best place to save the coins.

Its always what a trader should do though. I wanted to trade with GNL and WAVES but because its not on polo, i sign up to bittrex which the exchange lists the rest of the tokens that aren't on Polo. Its what we all do and i guess we really can't put all our eggs in one basket. In fact I bought some coins from yobit and also on cryptopia.

For the same reason we want security, I'm usually moving my coins to my desktop wallet if I wanted it to be in a safe place.

I've heard they were hacked once and they repay those hacked coins from their users, I don't have any means to validate these information but if  they did this then I guess they really are that sincere to what they are doing. The volume of tokens that were listed on the exchange is a lot better than the rest of the exchange. Must be a very trusted exchange. If they wanna scam people they could scam when BTC price reached 1000+ USD.
