These spike proteins CANNOT get out of muscle cells, they are broken up by proteasomes. The broken-up slices of the spike proteins are picked up by MHCs and eventually presented on the surface of the cell. The cells are then destroyed by the immune system.
When you are infected with covid-19 and your immune system is unable to defend, the virus replicates uncontrollably, producing a large number of copies, and those copies blind to ACE2 receptors causing organ damage by interfering with blood delivery.
Getting infected by the covid-19 virus can lead to long-term organ damage and/or death. That is what your article is talking about.
mRNA vaccines work very well. Everyone should get vaccinated as soon as possible.

Ever hear of blood pumping throughout the whole system of the body?... including the muscles? So you think that the protein spikes on the mRNA anchor it to one spot in the muscles, while the spikes on Covid allow it to run freely throughout the body?
Ding-dong density.
But you are a little correct. When the mRNA hangs on to one spot in certain people for a little longer stretch of time, they don't get sick and die as fast. And it takes them longer to become super-spreaders of Covid.
It's all part of the strategy to make it look like there are only 4,000 vaccine dead out of millions.
Ok, looks like I have to dumb it down for all you Bronze Age folks:
1. mRNA slice that is in the vaccine gets into a muscle cell and enters the ribosome organelle.
2. Ribosome makes the spike protein.
3. The spike protein produced in step 2. is sliced up by the proteasomes (INSIDE the muscle cell!!!)
4. Sliced spike protein fragments are identified by MHCs and the muscle cell is flagged for destruction on its outside membrane.
5. All flagged cells (with the sliced spike protein fragments inside them) are destroyed by the immune system (including the ribosome with mRNA slice from your vaccine).
6. Your immune system remembers what the spike proteins look like and will destroy any pathogen with a similar structure.
At no point in this process, spike proteins enter the bloodstream. Well, there might be few molecules that did not get sliced up by the proteasomes at the moment the cell was destroyed by the immune system, but those are cleaned up by the immune system which at this point knows that it is a foreign pathogen. mRNA slices that enter your body with your vaccine do not replicate. They are destroyed by the immune system when the flagged cells are destroyed. The vaccinated people do not have the covid-19 virus, cannot shed the covid-19 virus or its spike protein. That is just pure nonsese.
The scenario is drastically different when you get infected with the covid-19 virus.
1. Virus binds to ACE2 receptors on the cell membrane.
2. Virus enters the cell and replicates rapidly inside the cell.
3. Infected cell bursts, and the virus enters the bloodstream and is carried everywhere.
