I would like to use it as an investment but right now I am unable to do that since I’m short on funds, so currently I am using it as a currency, but I expect to change that in the next year or so.
Mainly for investments. I use it more often for trading or investing in different projects, when good opportunities arise.
Well, everyone uses bitcoin differently, but basically they use bitcoin as an investment tool to make them make money. I guess I'm also doing it unconsciously. I always hold bitcoin I have to bitcoin prices rise, and when the price goes up I'll sell it.Yes its good to sell them when you higher price instead of holding them for future, and if price again goes down in future then you have an opportunity to buy it again.
currently it is estimated that the price of bitcoin will increase more in the coming future so in regard to that the price of bitcoin is much lower so we do not have to sell them now and have to wait with them for more longer to get a more profit in the coming future ,
There are people who do hold their bitcoin for long term investments and some may do short term trades when bitcoin price moves. It really depends on the intention or interest of the owners. I f you want to enjoy profits on short term then trading short term would be ideal.

To me bitcoin is a currency and shall always remain so.And money can be used for various purposes and investment is also one of them.

is the gold buying paying off so far? Hows the price? I was thinking of collecting a lot more than 20$ and invest it in a gambling site or buy gold.

For me i use bitcoin as currency as i have my daily commitments in life and i am fullfilling it through bitcoin by doing signature campaign, giving my skill work for bitcoin and getting free altcoins and trading with them. Like this their are lot of option to earn bitcoin online. 80% i use it by converting it to fiat currency and balance 20% i keep for future.
Lol I think if you use bitcoin currency for you do not need to convert your money to fiat? you just simply use bitcoin only for all your activities? the mean by using bitcoin as a currency is that you buy something using bitcoin?

yeah true I think everyone did the same. would seem impossible if they only use use bitcoin for currency only. because in fact using bitcoin only included the investment and are very likely to make a profit when prices rise bitcoin. so I'm sure all users must have also invested because only few this store online or oflline support payment bitcoin

You didn't get his point, he is trying to say that even if we cannot spend it directly we should spend them by converting it to fiat currency as the movement of bitcoins is important for the higher price in future.
