Both is the actually the real option for most bitcoin users because most of us use it as an investment to grow what we already has and the purpose of growing them is probably to use them for something we need in coming time, so we should select the option both.

Are you sure you will only hold it until the price up to $1000 again without doing nothing with your btc?I think It is not profitable, because we do not know whether the price will up to $1000 again or not. How if the price never reach $1000?

I don't mind if you are waiting for that price and I respect that. But on other side, you must know when to make a good ride when there is a wave of price increase.

Also if you don't have luck such in doing altcoin trading then better forget it and focused on your usual way to earn bitcoin.

Yeah but I wish Bitcoin was popular as a currency too. Most of us see BTC as an investment or a trade, but.. It would be more popular if there were more shops accepting it.

Bitcoin is easy to use but there are no place to use bitcoins and that is the reason most of the people are holding their coins for the future to get benefits in future.

Mostly as an investment, I deposit some fiat in it to keep my crypto stock value the same and hold it, Although I sometimes complete deals with BTC as the currency still the majority of my holding in BTC are "investments".
