I'm also using bitcoin for investment. There's not much that I can buy with bitcoin yet for now especially the basic needs because supermarkets does not accept bitcoin yet so I just add a little amount to my wallet each month and then trade some but basically I don't spend it like what I do in fiat. Maybe when the time come that many shops will accept bitcoin then I will use it as currency but my goal really with bitcoin is for long term investment.

We have out own choices on how to use it. If their case is spending then it is good too. It helps with the circulation as the same as holders or buyers.

you are right, thats why i invest so much money into bitcoins at the moment, it can allow me to make some decent profit to be honest

Alt coins are alternative coins because the main coin here the bitcoin, since you are a newbie I understand that important information are not known to you yet, but I like your positive attitude for the willingness to learn, honestly, if you want to know all the answer it is written all in the altcoin section and bitcoin discussion for bitcoin.

thats why i use bitcoin mainly as an investment option, to be honest i doubt that there are any more such great investments as bitcoin because it is going to grow a lot

Like you trust your money in the other hands and you don't know what the people's mind, anytime trust your money for the another party is very risky. and the legit site like rumors in this time because a lot of online investment is related into a trap for bitcoins. maybe that's not all.

i think there are alot of so trusted sites and online shops where you can do shopping without any doubt, but you just need to recognize them. some time you can even use Escrow fo buying or selling thing which is the most safest way of trading, as now the online shopping trend is increasing day by day so it is expected the online shopping system will become more safest and more advance in future.

You have to agree that at the moment bitcoin as an investment is far more interesting then bitcoin as an a currency. The lack of usage for products you need on a daily basis makes it like that. But yes i am confident this will change in time.

With bitcoins volatility in value, it makes it highly profitable, and also very risky since it is unpredictable.
Bitcoin is better used as both currency and investments. Maybe 50-50 just so we can keep the economy running because if we all go into investments and hodl our coins, there's less active coins circulating therefore less chances for improvement.

Having a Paper wallet is best strategy for me too.. Paper wallet is most secured and safest way to store bitcoin. and you can redeem from there any time you want to invest your bitcoin..

You still have other choice such as buy paper wallet, buy hardware wallet or just backup your encrypted bitcoin wallet in CD, flashdisk or online drive.
Not best choice and more risky, but better than buy a printer or print at digital printing service.

The information that you gave is correct but if this user does not have the money to buy a printer I have my doubts that there´s a big amount of BTC in his wallet.
