Yes bitcoin is a good place for investment and very profitable. I also use bitcoin for short-term investments. But we must be careful if you want to invest in bitcoin as there are many scam sites, and we should be able to learn the price.

thats why i use bitcoin mainly as an investment option, to be honest i doubt that there are any more such great investments as bitcoin because it is going to grow a lot

Investing bitcoins in any online site can be really very risky as its hard to find any legit site at a moment, they may pay you initially but there is no guarantee that they will survive in long run.

Having a Paper wallet is best strategy for me too.. Paper wallet is most secured and safest way to store bitcoin. and you can redeem from there any time you want to invest your bitcoin..

but what if you don't have a printer? what would you do then?

i am having thir trouble, i don't have a printer and i can't just go out and ask a print shop to do the most delicate print of my life

You still have other choice such as buy paper wallet, buy hardware wallet or just backup your encrypted bitcoin wallet in CD, flashdisk or online drive.
Not best choice and more risky, but better than buy a printer or print at digital printing service.

Assuming you hide it in a place where no one other than yourself has access to, then yes, it's one of the more safer form of storing coins. Simply securing your wallet files with a very strong password and a layer of encryption of that wallet file is solid as well.

For example, if you like something worth 1 BTC a few years ago then you only have to pay less than 100$ for that but if you buy it now then you have to have almost 600$ to buy it unless you don’t care about the value of bitcoin in fiat money. So, it’s better to use it as an investment.

I am more of an investor than a spender when it comes to bitcoin. I would much rather buy and hold than buy and use. But right now, since bitcoin's price is not too high, I am spending a little to pay for my load credits and some for paying bills. That's just a small portion that I am taking from my bitcoin holdings that I hope would give me great profits a few years from now.

Most of the people here are only using bitcoin to spend it, we have a lot of sites that we can spend our money specifically the gambling sites, it is just after a big lose in gambling people will realize that they if they could have invested the money they have had earn some profits.
