illegal in many countries.
-snip-
Not really. Crypto currencies (bitcoin) isn't really illegal in many countries. Only just few countries decided to ban the usage of crypto currencies. Most of them are underdeveloped countries that has no proper framework to regulate crypto currencies. Hence, they put a ban so that people don't use it for corruption (even though their government are the corrupted ones) or any illegal activities. But people still use it over there since the government has no way to track them. Look at Nigeria. Central Bank issued a ban. People still do p2p  trading and yet no one faced any trouble. They will eventually lift those bans once they get a proper understanding of how crypto currencies work.

I want Bitcoin to be legalized in my country, so that I can directly use Bitcoin as a transaction tool. But if that doesn't happen I also don't feel there is anything wrong because my Bitcoin investment and trading can still run as it is today. I'm actually afraid that if all countries legalize Bitcoin, the price will go down and Bitcoin becomes an ordinary thing, not worth it as it is today. This is something that has crossed my mind several times, whether it's possible or not.

Seeing bitcoin legal in my country is my hope, of course i will use bitcoin for various payments so i don't need cash for transactions, of course it takes time and a long process to be able to make sure the country legalizes bitcoin which is full of controversy but as long as bitcoin is useful it deserves to be legalized .

Bitcoin is still legal in many countries and illegal in many countries. Do you want, Bitcoin to be legal in your country?
Do you feel the need to legalize Bitcoin in your country?
Are your ideas about Bitcoin positive or negative?
What is your personal opinion about this?
What do you think, if bitcoin is legalized in your country, the country will be improved or will be damaged?
I definitely want Bitcoin to be legal in my country, and I feel the need to make Bitcoin legal in my country.

I don't need it to be a legal tender or that the government will embrace it, as long as Bitcoin is legalized and that we can function freely without the government having to stand in our way, then I'm fine with that, on the other hand, NFT is being tax-controlled by our government but that's far from my concern since my main priority here is Bitcoin and activities such as trading, mining, I guess as long as the government doesn't try to control those (well, technically they can't since this is a decentralized platform, unless when we're talking about trading and exchanges) then everything will be fine by me.

In my place, I like the reaction and treatment with my government in bitcoin, they don't have any rules and regulations on bitcoin. They are accepting this as an alternate current. There is no need I think to be legalized if your country allows cryptocurrency but did not have any regulation. They are just something neutral to bitcoin and also warn people not to continue those bad habits.

I am afraid if bitcoin becomes legal tender, everything now can be used KYC verification.
what is happening in your country is exactly the same as what is happening now in mine.
instead of prohibiting or legalizing, the government is more in a neutral direction.
but precisely this can be profitable on the other hand, things like this also have their own disadvantages because there are indeed many forms in the name of crypto.
indeed it doesn't really affect me much but I'm uncomfortable with it because so many people are deceived by this kind of trick.

Bitcoin is now approved in my country, now I see many Youth who were just staying at home because of employment challenges are now dealing with Bitcoin. I finished University studies in 2017 too but my country has a bad employment status, so I joined the crypto world and start BTC P2P trading but now my things are better than the salary I would earn from the office job.

But it is not easy for the government to giving legality to bitcoin because they can not control bitcoin. Maybe they need more time to learn about what benefits bitcoin has to their country and maybe they need to read about what their people want from bitcoin. I think it needs more discussion to all government officials to know that bitcoin can give benefits to their country. Having legality in a country really means for bitcoin, especially for the people because they will feel safe using bitcoin.
It does take time for the government to consider legalizing Bitcoin or not, because Bitcoin is a new technology that must be learned first.
So it makes a lot of sense if there are countries that accept Bitcoin in a gradual way, meaning that the country's government only allows Bitcoin
as a digital asset and prohibits using it as payment. Because the government needs careful consideration and also wants to monitor first
the impact that Bitcoin has on society. But I believe the countries that legalize Bitcoin will continue to grow, if our country of residence has not
legalized Bitcoin, we just need to be patient. Because in the future there is a possibility that Bitcoin can be accepted by the majority of countries in the world.
It will make sense if the country gradually accepts bitcoin while learning more details about bitcoin so someday, they can fully accept bitcoin and bitcoin can be useful to people. If the government allows using bitcoin as a digital asset, that will help people make money from bitcoin. And once the country can accept bitcoin and make it legal, that will be the way for that country to grow and that can make people's lives better if they can use bitcoin properly.

Countries that still prohibit Bitcoin should be able to see how the benefits will be if the government accepts Bitcoin as a digital asset.
Accepting Bitcoin as a digital asset will be able to increase people's income, because it has been proven that Bitcoin can be a source of income.
Especially in a pandemic situation like now, it is very beneficial if the government accepts Bitcoin as a digital asset.

I don't think your government does not regulate bitcoin, if it's accepted then maybe you have a local exchange where it's usually regulated, and if that is the setup in your country, then there's a rule and the local exchange is under regulation. KYC requirement is the main proof that the government has been regulating crypto exchanges, maybe what you meant is that bitcoin is not accepted as legal tender yet.

There are many pros and cons about legalizing bitcoin as a legal currency.
In my country Indonesia, the legalization of bitcoin as a legal currency is still not going to happen. Bitcoin is only legal as a futures trading asset. Due to the volatile nature of bitcoin with high volatility, there will be a lot of risk.

Several other developing countries also apply the same regulations.

Adoption is not just legalizing as a legal currency, but recognizing bitcoin and legalizing it as a commodity asset is also good. than like China which has explicitly banned bitcoin.

My country is so far from legalizing Bitcoin. Actually, we don't have any ATM for bitcoins yet, so it goes without saying that it wll take a long period of time before our country will at least start interacting with crypto currencies. But of course I am looking forward to this as Bitcoin is an innovative and very convenient way to transfer your money and to pay for goods and services.

Personally i want that my country will accept Bitcoin and make it legal in my country. If that happened then i will be very happy. Also now most of the time i felt hesitation when i want to sell Bitcoin to someone.  But if Bitcoin will legal then i can easily sell and buy Bitcoin from anyone and anywhere. I can use Bitcoin in different places as a payment. Because so many people want to accept Bitcoin as a payment but they can't because Bitcoin is not legal in my country. Hope in near future Bitcoin will accepted by my countries government.

Bitcoin is legal in my country and even if it were to become illegal I would still use it.
bitcoin is also legal in my country, it's just that it's forbidden to be used as a means of payment...

as far as I know china is actually banning bitcoin completely there, they feel bitcoin can't be controlled and that's what makes the communist country not like it. I am still waiting for my country to recognize bitcoin like el salvador.

The same thing, bitcoin is legal in my country.

In my country there are already several coins from Bitcoin derivatives that can be traded. Legal issues and not I think it depends on our point of view as users to use in what way.
Yes and even if the country where everyone lives has said bitcoin is illegal, they can't do something with stopping them.

For now giving legality to bitcoin is the right choice, because bitcoin is a very profitable future asset for a country, if we already know the use of crypto of course we really hope our country has legalized bitcoin, because with the legality of the country then we are safer in making investments, and countries that have legalized bitcoin at this time there are no complaints and I am sure they will definitely benefit to add to the country's assets.
But it is not easy for the government to giving legality to bitcoin because they can not control bitcoin. Yes since not rushing all things can make people adopt for the upcoming changes and becoming a crypto friendly country will be the best start for them to do that, for sure when right time comes like implementing it as a legal tender to their country for sure their citizens well be prepared to the new changes that will come to their economy. But hopefully this crypto adoption will not be a another source of corruption by corrupt official since bitcoin will get bad impressions if that happen.

My country is still preparing the yearly financial bill and meanwhile we do not know what is the status of bitcoin in country. Whether it is legal or illegal no one understands clearly, however, everyone is still finding it way too easy to trade on daily basis. The financial news channels also keeps including bitcoin and ether in their data analysis on everyday basis. I don't see any restrictions on the bitcoin amid the unfinished bills about it. I think it will never matter due to bitcoin and it's public ledger nature. We still use it, we trade it, we convert it to the local currencies and are able to withdraw the money all the time. To add more to this, there are pretty good number of exchangers which are operational and has the best banking partners to support them. So not sure legality does matter in this regard or not?

1. yes, I want to see bitcoin become legal in my country, because my country is one of the countries that has a neutral side against bitcoin, or other cryptocurrencies.
2. Of course I want it to be legal, that's because there will be so many businesses that support bitcoin if that happens.
3 and 4. I have positive thoughts about bitcoin
5. When bitcoin becomes legal in my country, of course many countries will be encouraged to do so. I'm sure after El Salvador, there are several countries that are currently drafting regulations to make bitcoin legal.
