I'm 50/50. Sometimes I don't use social media or internet except email and google maps maybe, like, for weeks but then some months I just sit on my ass on the internet.

The internet is a great way to get information and to learn new things, it is also a good way to get news and keep in touch with people so only those that don’t do anything else but use the Internet can be said to be wasting their lives. Yes, sometimes I do waste my time in internet but not life instead its time. We are living in a modern world so everything we do needs to be connected to the internet. Internet is very useful depends on how you will use it. If you are spending your whole life gaming and watching porn then I can say you are wasting your life on the internet.
Depend on what you mean by waste. Is entertaining yourself by some way a waste of time for you? What makes you think life outside of internet is not wasted? What about watching television?
Approximately 70:30. Work is connected with the Internet and it takes a lot of time to spend at the computer. But I love the movement and communication in real life, so at any opportunity I go out into nature in my spare time.

I spend a lot of time in the Internet but it is not just for social media and unimportant stuffs. I am a student and Internet is very useful for researching and studying. I have social media accounts but I don't waste my time in that. After all, Internet is very useful for learning new things and understanding.
i spend a lot of time on the web. is it wasted? maybe. but i also learn alot, explore alot and introduce things into my life that i otherwise would never have known about. the positives outweigh the negatives.
I also spend a lot of time on the Internet. And I am fully confident that I spend time with benefit and interest. I do not want to live differently, I like to live like this
Yes, most of my life is on the interneet nowadays..
I waste half of my life on internet and half of it while sleeping. 
Nothing is a waste if you enjoy your time. It doesn't matter whether it's on the Internet or outside, whether you learn, whether you earn or whatever. The aim of life is enjoyment whether you know that or whether you do it directly or indirectly.

I agree that it's a 50/50. We do spend our time going thru a lot of videos in Youtube, searching for pictures of movie stars or just spending time in 9gag. On the other side though, we use the internet for research. A lot of information is thrown out in the internet and we can't say that all if it are useless. I believe it's all in how you utilize it and I think the phrase wasting time is just a perspective.

I think internet has given us an enhanced way to live our lives.
Life without virtual goods, social medias, massive knowledge at disposal from search engines would feel little empty
On the other side a life spent only on internet behind a monitor would be empty as well.

No technically i dont waste my time in internet .i work hard in signature campaign so that i can earn some money through it and support myself to some extend.
