I do when I play poker. I used to play more and did one hour sessions. Even when I played a lot I always did one hour sessions with breaks. For example, one hour, 15 or 20 minutes break and play again, another break and play again. Nowadays I don't play as much and sometimes I don't even make it to an hour session. But in general it is a good idea to set a maximum session time.

I don't think all these saying of limiting your bet time of gamble what you can loss or having a budget for gambling is for addicted gamblers. They don't have any of the above guidelines for gaming. Even if they have it they will still break the rules they have put in place. I believed I just answered a question that look like this one. Now will you logout when you game is interesting and your are winning? Now you place games to be win within 30 minutes and when it is the time the game is on the winning side and the money to be won is very big. Will you logout?

The gambling is based on the wager of the gamblers,if many gamblers wager in more numbers. The website also survives only if the wager is more, the VIP status in the gambling also increases based upon the wager by the individual gambler. The logout of the account doesn’t affect your gambling money in the wallet,it will affected on the delete of the account in the gambling site.If the gambling was going in the right way of more winning, the gamblers will not logout their account.

If the gambler made the money with high winning,he need to withdraw funds instead of keep on playing with the winning money. The gamblers can hold 20 percentage of money in the wallet and withdraw the balance money to their exchange to convert to fiat.

When it's a casino game and then I need to go at a particular time, I usually just tell me myself, "All right, just 2 more deals and I'm out." Something like this. At least I can be mindful of my time while being mindful of my games also. It's not a good feeling if you're cramming, like you badly need to go so you just fold and leave if you're on a poker game for example. I usually don't do that. But I don't wrap up as in review my entire gambling session. That doesn't sound fun. That's like a job. Lol.

Everything will be different depending on what is being done and of course there is certain time to start and to stop because setting gambling session is also very important to be able to maintain financial stability and also to be able to do other activities such as work.
In context like this, I personally have two differences, if only for casino games then obviously there is certain time that is always used as benchmark.
But for sports betting there is no clear time because always bet after watching a few minutes of the match and the time in the match also varies so that for sports betting there is no specific betting session time.

How about you do you wrap up your sessions and how many minutes or hours and do you think it's ok to do a wrap-up?
Usually I have time limit that is always equal to 60 minutes to 90 minutes in gaming session at casino.
There is also certain time for playing because I always play in the morning around 7 am to start the gambling session.

It will not be bad if gamblers can actually wrap up their gambling for the year just as they do with business and some other things, so that they can have more money to spend on family for the holidays where they are a lot of expenses. The holiday season is regularly fun, so gambling for fun should not be an excuse to gamble unless you are already an addict to gambling. Addicted gamblers cannot stay off gambling, and this holiday season is a time where we will see many of them. Worst situation for some families, they will not be able to have a pleasant festive season because the money that should have been meant for it has been gambled away.
If they can complete their gambling well, I think they are very good at managing themselves when betting on the gambling they play and they can also enjoy the winnings they have obtained.
Yes, those who have experienced an addiction to gambling will of course not be able to stop betting and winning because they will always lose because they are always greedy in gambling. Only luck is what they can get in winning their gambling.

People who are able to finish their gambling sessions and go home not in tears I think it only happens and can be done by people who still have awareness in every gambling session they do, emotions and greed are not too significant so they are still able to apply awareness in order to keep making better judgments in all situations and conditions, It is indeed better especially if in some sessions they manage to get lucky by going home with a certain amount of winnings to enjoy, but unfortunately not many gamblers can take such an approach, on average they always act out of control because their hopes and beliefs exceed common sense and logic.

Basically, it is quite difficult if someone has entered and is trapped in the addiction zone, they will not be able to accept some good advice based on facts because they already have different beliefs from normal people in terms of gambling, even though it is wrong but they think it is right, not realizing that gambling is really a for-profit activity and none other than that because it is difficult to achieve awareness in addiction situations.

I do wrap up my gambling session but mostly it's about how much balance I have left. Like if I were to start with $100, if I get to $80 or $120, I would stop. But that doesn't work most of the time but I still put a boundary on when I will most likely stop. Sometimes I do it by the time of day as well, if it's near 2 o'clock already or something like that, the nearest hour that I would give myself is that.

I rarely wrap up my sessions, and when I do, it's mostly just me lurking in the public chat, thinking of what my next plan is after gambling.

My other way of wrapping it up is by looking at some of the upcoming matches to see if there's a good match worth betting on early before the odds drop.

These wrap-ups have more upsides, so it's perfectly fine for gamblers to do it.

Sort of. I tend to track my loss and profit on each day I would be gambling but never the times I won a match or game.  One reason is to help myself be aware of the amount I could use to bet on the next day or time I would be wanting to. In such way I am avoiding surprise that could yield to frustration.

Being aware is never a bad thing. It would be preventive of any negative feeling and if you end up with profit once you wrap things up, then at least you would be able to enjoy spending your money more. It is also where you would be having conclusions on how much would you be spending next time. or if adjustments should be done.

If it's time to rest then even if I am at lost I will wrap it up. There's always be another day to gamble. Gambling sites will not be gone in a blink so better take care of your health first and rest as much as possible to avoid the stress that is being given by the bad habit.
I remember last month when I was trying to chase my losses and I didn't even notice the time. When I looked at it, it was already 2AM and I felt so bad that I instantly shut down my computer because that's just not right.
Being disciplined in gambling is a hard task to do, I know that. But at least keeping it in control should be our main goal to avoid getting addicted in the long run.

How about you do you wrap up your sessions and how many minutes or hours and do you think it's ok to do a wrap-up?
For me, I am doing it every after some tournament or season. For example in Dota2, we have this The International tournament will last for days once the final event starts (excluding qualifiers), or for example in the NBA, every after the season.
During that time, sometimes  I check how much I deposited and how much is left in my balance, it is like calculating your loss or winnings.

Have you wrapped up every session you mean you allocate specific hours on your session and to hit the hour where you should log off you made a wrap-up of your session even though you still have a huge bankroll like you spend 30 minutes wrapping up your bets.
I usually spend 20 minutes going down to my excitement level so when I log out I feel more relaxed

How about you do you wrap up your sessions and how many minutes or hours and do you think it's ok to do a wrap-up?

I used to gamble indefinitely but after some losses, I learned my lesson well and eventually come to a conclusion of having a limited hours in gambling.  I also allocated a fix amount of fund for gambling.  The one that I can afford to lose.

I have the sum up thing this way.  I allocated a fix time of 2 hours of gameplay, whether I win or lose I stop after the set time is consumed.  The other option is about the fund allocation, the two hours allocation is void when all my fund is depleted even before those two hours is consumed.  Meaning I stop when my allocated bankroll is depleted whether I consumed the two hours or not.

The good thing is I found this approach effective in not wasting time and money due to gambling activities.

I don't think all these saying of limiting your bet time of gamble what you can loss or having a budget for gambling is for addicted gamblers. They don't have any of the above guidelines for gaming. The time and fund limit applies to all gamblers.  It is the same as gambling moderation which is effective in avoiding waste of time and finances.  Although this may be difficult for a gambling addict to implement, but it is worth a try if they wanted to regain their control.

Sounds like a lot of work for something meant to be entertainment... But then again, many people do not see gambling as a form of entertainment for some reason...

I have never "wrapped up every session". But I do follow my own rules about gambling limits. The time and money you spend in a casino should be pre-agreed on by yourself and with a bit of discipline, I find that I no longer have any desire to bet large amounts of money or to keep going without end.

The brain needs some time to calm down. A day is not enough for me. I usually take at minimum a few days off to get back into normal mode.

Well, sometimes I set up usually hour or more than one hour, but mostly I don't have an specific time to do what you call wrap up, I mean yes I have an allocated amount or bankroll that I will use for gambling and as long as I still have balance or if I notice that I earned quite a lot then that's when I would stop there is no specific time length mostly when I do gambling, I gamble at my satisfaction so sometimes it takes me hours to gamble. So when I gamble I make sure that I'm free and will not do anything to focus and to enjoy, but if I know I have something to do then that's when I need to allocate some time for me just to gamble usually 1-3 hours, that's when I know when to stop or wrap up, well I thimk its a good practice to have a specific time when to end the session so that you will not over spens your bankroll.

There is no specific session time in gambling, when I have allocated to play then I will play while fun in the sense that whether it is how many minutes or how many hours is uncertain even though the money in the account is still large, so for the completion of this session should not be accelerated just because you want to be more relaxed.

Sometimes when I play gambling and win, the time will be longer if I don't withdraw or increase the bet, but if I have won and then withdraw some and leave some to continue the game then this is no time that determines I have to enjoy the game without any session that must be completed faster.

I like to continue tomorrow to open luck even though many fail. Grin

I have to say that you are a better and more organized gambler than I am. I am having a thought now to start doing this. I do the normal thing like watching my bankroll and not playing for more than the allocated time. However, there are days when I get carried away and go out of the plan I have. And it happens when there is a distraction from within the home or out side. Therefore wrapping up because a fight between my will and my gambling self.

I think that's normal that in some instances, you will forget what you've set for yourself.
But as long as you stop and contemplate what's going on and re-assess your situation,
you won't go deep and so you may possibly prevent some financial troubles on the way.
On my part, I usually wrap up my games when I am already maximizing my budget.
Which means, I am already reaching my critical limit. And so, I need to pause and stop already.

my decision on this depends on the kind of games am playing at the moment and the time frame i have towards each section, gambling is not what i can just start without having a plan towards how i wanted to enjoy the best moments out of it, in this i do ensure that i make in game i know that am being able to wrap up thesame time and day i expected, I've seen some spending more than two days while some a week or more, but in my own case, i may not have the enough patience needed to deal with it long extension on playing games.
