Are your parents investing in bitcoin ? Has it impacted your journey with crypto ?
I live in a country where Bitcoin is completely outlawed by the government and anyone directly or indirectly investing in Bitcoin is punished if the government finds out. In this situation it seems unlikely that my parents would have any knowledge about Bitcoin so my parents do not know anything about Bitcoin for now and have no opportunity to know. So my parents couldn't invest on Bitcoin.

Our parents do not have to invest on crypto as a must even though we are into crypto and that same decision does not have to affect the way we are holding or journey on bitcoin for anything, business has to do with each individual adoption potencies, whereby they can uses such as a means to use in standing against all odd in their financial economy, if they don't see the reason and positivity for adopting bitcoin, it will always be of no relevance to them, so its something we can start from somewhere if we really want to get others around us involved in bitcoin, then they must see the reflection in how we leave our lives.

Nope! They are all retired and living a comfortable life with their savings. So they simply do not want to invest in something that is risky. The only investment they have is Bank deposits.

Also it's a little more technical than they can manage to control by themselves. I had tried to explain them about bitcoin. But my dad was worried that I will be asking them to provide money to invest. That's why they didn't bother to listen.  Tongue

None of my parents invested in bitcoin even till now that I told them, they refused. I was able to talk to my uncle and he bought the idea of investing in bitcoin which he did.

My journey in crypto started all by myself when I was introduced to bitcoin in the early 2019 during the Covid pandemic. I introduced bitcoin to my family to see how it can add impact to their lives just as it did to mine, and I am happy that my siblings bought some fractions of bitcoin.

Actually my parents are not into crypto investment and I'm not even sure if they will be interested maybe if I tell them about bitcoin, I'm scared to tell my father about crypto investment due to what is happening in the internet, though he is awere of this internet fraudsters but with his level of understanding I don't think if he can go with it the right way.  However with the way he sounded the last time I told him about crypto investment I think is not yet ready for it, so I just decided to let go of him since he's not yet ready for it.

My parent is not into tech or any online activities due to their age they both dont see anything special about Bitcoin but that may change in the future though and if the change happens the only person I strongly believe will invest in Bitcoin is my Dad based on his curiosity about new opportunities which I believe is the gene I get from him.

I did my best and somehow convinced them to invest into BTC during 2020 and though they weren't thoroughly convinced but they ended up investing into Bitcoin and my bad luck they witnessed the bear market, balnes me and end up selling it off. I have stopped convincing them rather i do convince my peers and other member my age group. Sometimes it's better to leave them with their traditional investments they don't fit in here.

My parents didn't even know about crypto until I talked about it with them. My mom finds it very difficult to understand the whole thing, as she is not technically enlightened. Even my dad, who has asked me questions a few times about how it works, is still not convinced as to whether it is worth his investment.

My parents are the type of people who believe in what they can see with their eyes; they are both entrepreneurs, yet they find it difficult to invest in Bitcoin.

I'm the only one with my other siblings, who follow after me and have at least some basic knowledge of Bitcoin and are also holders. Buying Bitcoin might be the last thing on my parent list right now unless I'm ready to sign that whatever the outcome will be, I will take full responsibility, which I'm not ready to do.

I'm trying to convince them, for now they're not yet convinced but they don't mind me buying a small portion of bitcoin from my salary every payday so hopefully when the big price pump happens, I'm going to have a lot of profit that would probably convince them, I try everytime that I buy bitcoin to let them in on the investment journey but so far they're not yet convinced with how I deal with bitcoin but I know that I'm getting to point soon, they're complaining about them nearing their retirement so I know that it will eventually make them come to terms that they will have to buy those bitcoins for their safety against inflation.

Lol my father does have some Bitcoin.  I told him to buy, but he did a terrible job and bought way later at terrible prices.. he wanted to sell,  I stopped him, and now he is in profit but just a little bit.

Anyway, Bitcoin is way more common in millenials and Gen z.
