Are your parents investing in bitcoin ? Has it impacted your journey with crypto ?

My parents never wanted to invest in crypto, they are quite orthodox, they don't believe in things called investments, they only believe in gold and property, but this doesn't affect my journey in crypto, I am very happy investing in crypto, even the majority of assets I own owned in the form of crypto (which dominates is bitcoin), I am sure that in the future bitcoin will continue to experience price increases, that can be guaranteed.
It all depends on age and perception of the modern world, its trends. This question about the possibility of parents investing in cryptocurrency cannot be considered unambiguous, since my parents are well over 60 and they generally have no desire to bring anything new into their lives. but at 45, I have an understanding of the prospects for using crypto and its benefits. And younger people already live like fish in water in the world of crypto and everything that connects them. This trend will only improve over the years.

You should have asked if my parent know about bitcoins. As it is now, even if I will think of explaining Bitcoin to them, it will be a one year project which I do not know if the project will succeed.
Tell them that Bitcoin is money and they're going to easily understand what is Bitcoin then.

Anyway , my parents are not into bitcoins , my bitcoins journey came from desire to end low quality living. Relating with people who are into bitcoins exposed me to bitcoins.
I think that most of our parents don't really have interest in investing in Bitcoin because they don't understand it. But once they start to know what actually it is then, they'll have the idea that it should be one priority for their assets because we're living in a modern age where technology advancement is vast and progressive.

No one can stop that innovation and Bitcoin is part of it as blockchain technology is emerging and cryptocurrencies are growing. But out of its growth, with so many cryptos out there, they should know first and more about Bitcoin before they go in the depths of it.

My parents don't invest in Bitcoin and they also don't know about Bitcoin because my parents are just a mother who doesn't have any knowledge apart from being a housewife, and my mother can only enjoy the profits I get from Bitcoin. And besides that, the long-term Bitcoin that I do is not only for my family's future, but I can also use it for my mother's expenses or needs in her old age.
And when my father was alive, he knew about Bitcoin and he really encouraged me to get involved with Bitcoin because he felt enjoyment from the profits I made while he was around. And when my father was sick, I also relied on the profits I made from Bitcoin for hospital expenses for more than a year. But unfortunately God had other plans and finally my father died, so for me Bitcoin is a very useful thing and can help me a lot financially when I really need it for sudden needs and also for the future.

You don't have to rush but you also don't have to take long because I know for a fact that most of the time, you can easily explain the stuff that they need to know and most likely, they're not going to be trading so they don't really benefit too much when it comes to talking too much detail about bitcoin, they'll just hodl so make sure that you focus on that one rather than digress over and over to the information that they don't need to know. I definitely would agree at your last statement that being inclined with bitcoin, you'll need people that share the same passion as you but it's different with your parents, they will either have a hard time believing you're right or they will not listen to you and say that they're in the right. You also don't need to persist them, sometimes when that happens, it will just make them go away from you and not consider your proposition.

my parents are quite old, and leave all forms of business to me. So, in general, he does not invest in bitcoin. After all, I just want him to enjoy his old age with what he has worked for since he was young. However, he knows that I'm learning and invested in this, so the investment he's making is raising me and making me take care of this.
Same here. But my parents trust me a lot that I won't waste money and always make potential decisions so when I invest in Bitcoin I tell my parents about it even though they don't understand much about it but they always support me. Bitcoin is not something where there is a risk of losing all of the money invested. If you invest here for long term, the chance of loss is very less. once someone understands this, he will definitely be interested in investing in Bitcoin. no matter what age he is

Are your parents investing in bitcoin ? Has it impacted your journey with crypto ?

My parents are retired and at old age. My children might ask me whether I had invested in bitcoin in the future. Even if I had done several mistakes like not investing when it was cheap or selling it too early, I plan to keep some for my kids with no plans to sell whatsoever. That's why I'm doing my best at accumulating bitcoins for my future generations so that I don't get blame for missing out even when I was technologically literate. Even in the worst case scenario, bitcoin would be 10 times as valuable when my kids are at the age of asking about bitcoins.

Just like we know that Bitcoin is still in the early stages and many of our parents might see no reason to invest in Bitcoin but rather watch their children making money from it. I think as we are investing in Bitcoin that's better rather than to compel our parent to also invest their money when this might not still under what Bitcoin is all about. If we have a good start as a Bitcoiner, we would understand that Bitcoin price would still do better in the market rather than waiting for too long for the price to go bull before we invest our money. The market is quite moving gradually and I hope to see green candles moving up.
I agree with you, it would be better for us to invest in Bitcoin and it is not easy for them to learn about this investment and it would be better for them to be able to enjoy their old age by relaxing with their families and also most of those who have I think old people will be lazy to think about investing because the best way to invest in Bitcoin is to be able to hold it in the long term in order to make a profit and for those who are old, of course they can enjoy the results of what they invested when they were young.

Sometimes the problem is not being illiterate, it's the generational gap the problem: in the last 30-40 years the world changed a lot, and it changed extremely quickly, and for many people there are just so many new complicate things coming out one after the other that is difficult to stay behind everything. The younger generations are born using certain tools so they don't need to actually learn how to use them, it's part of the process, just like you learn to walk and talk pretty much: you learn without realizing you're doing it.
Of course, there are a large number of those who are old and will be lazy to study what is currently emerging so they still choose to do what they usually do and for now it is very different from when they used to invest in real assets, so they will choose to invest as they usually do, but if they choose to invest in Bitcoin which has high volatility of course this will make them worry and could make them anxious and I don't think this is good for their health.

It is very difficult for illiterate people to understand about digital currency Bitcoin which I understand. My parents are uneducated and very little familiar with technology and internet for which they did not properly understand the Bitcoin relationship after spending a lot of time explaining it to them.

Actually when my investment was going on for two years I convinced them to invest in Bitcoin but they refused. I pushed my parents a lot to invest in Bitcoin and I told my parents if you invest your money in something and then invest it in Bitcoin you will get double money from it if you hold it patiently for a long time. They asked me for time to understand even agreed but there was a disruption that they used the money to buy land later which made it impossible for them to invest in bitcoins.

My parents are not in bitcoin because they are enjoying their old age right now so for now I am in bitcoin not because of my parents because even my parents don't really understand what bitcoin is. But with this condition I actually become more enthusiastic to teach my younger siblings and family to look further into bitcoin.

Same as mine, they're currently enjoying their grey days, but lately my mom is beginning to pick interest in Cryptocurrency she's seen what I've achieved with it and has got prove that investing in Bitcoin is a very good idea, before the  just concluded halving my mom came across some posts on Facebook concernng it and out of ignorance she asked if it was relating to the Bitcoin am into, and if it would make her very rich we both laughed over it but I laughed harder because that's an ignorant person speaking. But I was impressed afterwards cause she showed interest and asked me to explain what Bitcoin is all about. My parents are hard working and  business minded and I'm pretty sure if Bitcoin reigned in their youthful days they would've been big investors in it, my dad in his youthful days was into Real Estate and had several landed properties while my mom was a government health worker and owned a clothing store. And with the questions they been asking me concerning Bitcoin currently I believe they would've seized the opportunity to invest in it when it came out if only they weren't ignorant of it.

Certainly no. They hardly understand the new technology nowadays and since bitcoin investment requires it, they find no reason to engage in bitcoin. And I guess that’s not a missed opportunity for them since I don’t want them to get bothered and pressured in making their investment works.

I can always invest for them because I know whatever amount of profits I can get from bitcoin, I also make it sure that my parents can benefit as well. They raised me well and put me in a position where I am right now, so it’s time for me to give back and offer them a good life that they deserved. And I guess this will be highly possible with bitcoin, not for them to invest since they’re old enough, but for me to focus on it and make it certainly work.

This is not an imposition but indeed just a suggestion because after all things like this can be a good situation apart from making me have a storytelling friend who is of the same frequency, I also do this to make my little family more able to understand what I am doing now.
As for my parents, with their current age, I will not make anything to change their views, especially to invite in bitcoin because I think they only need to enjoy life properly now the rest does not need to think about anything else because retirement age should be used as a redemption for their previous time when working hard.

My parents don't understand crypto, because that's the model of conventional parents. they don't even know where I get the money, because it's difficult to explain to them. Once when I was able to build a house, it actually made them worry about where my money would come from, because they were afraid that I would be in debt, I just stated that I got a fortune, from work that I often do until late at night, because it is impossible to get a salary as an employee.

What kind of experience I experienced with my parents who didn't understand crypto. But I started telling them what crypto is and where my source of income comes from even though I also work as an employee in one of the offices where I live. My parents now know that I have a side job so understand if I earn more it comes from earning crypto. It was easy to educate my parents because they have an open mind and also like the world of the latest technology.

Are your parents investing in bitcoin ? Has it impacted your journey with crypto ?
Truth be told my parents are very poor in terms of technology and they are very little familiar with internet world. so they didn't know anything about Bitcoin and didn't understand that I asked them for some money and what I would do with that money, I dared to say that I would invest some money in Bitcoin. they laughed. So I didn't try to convince them anymore because I know I won't be able to convince them. my parents don't know about bitcoin don't invest in bitcoin but my kids can say that my parents invest in bitcoin, use bitcoin and know about bitcoin he he he....
agree At the age we are now, our parents are less likely to be interested in Bitcoin. But our future generations will see their parents with Bitcoin  Bitcoin is attracting most of the youth. Because it is an invention of the modern world. It is hoped that in the future it can become a popular means of payment solution like paypal, payoneer etc...Bitcoin is an investment place that can yield huge profits if invested and held.  So it is spreading a lot day by day

Are your parents investing in bitcoin ? Has it impacted your journey with crypto ?
I have been educating my parents about bitcoin way back then. But I don’t have plans to encourage them to invest in a high risky investment like bitcoin. They’re both senior citizens so it’s hard for them to control their emotions when they see their investments are falling. And the fact that both of them are taking heart medication, so it’s really not advisable for them to enter into investments that would risk their own condition.

And I think not having them in crypto is quite a relief for more. At least I can focus on my own investment most particularly in times of a tough market that is quite risky to deal.

Many of our parents are quite old already and they don't understand these kind of things. If you tell them to invest in Bitcoin, they'd probably say that "do it for me" and that is because they no longer have the capacity to understand things. Let's all think that the majority of our parents are like Warren Buffett. Who likes the conventional way of investing and have no interest to the new types of investment vehicles like Bitcoin.

Once when I was able to build a house, it actually made them worry about where my money would come from, because they were afraid that I would be in debt, I just stated that I got a fortune, from work that I often do until late at night, because it is impossible to get a salary as an employee.
You can still have that loan even if you're a salary guy but that won't be the same as how much you're going to have with how you're able to build your house. But nice story.

Are your parents investing in bitcoin ? Has it impacted your journey with crypto ?

Lol my father does have some Bitcoin.  I told him to buy, but he did a terrible job and bought way later at terrible prices.. he wanted to sell,  I stopped him, and now he is in profit but just a little bit.

Anyway, Bitcoin is way more common in millenials and Gen z.

Wow! Nice to hear that your father invested in Bitcoin mate because my parents have no idea what crytocurrency is, as I am the only one in my family and relatives who are into crypto and I never encouraged them to jump-in as we all know how risky it was to be in this industry. I also don't like pointing fingers whom to blame when they messed up on crypto so yeah I just leave it like that.
