Some of them are but I agree that most of them aren't, injective protocol had a bounty in bitcointalk and now is going to b on the next binance launchpad, also it was DIA before which is now on bitmax , it is harder to find them and it's not as easy as 2017 that every shitcoin flew high, need to do some research before joining to any bounty.
Very lucky people who join DIA campaign and injective (I have joined it and get paid with ETH) and this year it is still the same as the previous year where it is very difficult to find a legit bounty. I am very careful when choosing campaigns and yes most of them are shitcoin now.
I participated that 2 bounties too, but currently there are few projects that is considered fine to be able to participate. The bounty fund is less and less while the tasks are more and more difficult.

Personally i keep participating in campaigns but the volume is very low nowadays, i still hope good times will be back. It's difficult to tell which project will be successful since the majority of the project is struggling during their crowdfunding. On the other hand for those who joined the bounties but they always end up getting scammed, they will say that it is not worth it anymore. for now I am following the YOUengine project and I am confident enough to believe that their project will be success.
I believe YOUengine is in trouble right now because all they ever used to hype their project is John McAfee and we know what happened to McAfee right now, also John McAfee was part of ESH but they had some bad disagreement which ruin ESH already, I have less hope for Youengine bounty really, the best bounties right now are

1. Poolz
2. Dego Finance
3. JACS
4. Free TON

There aren't any outstanding projects for the past 2 years. only UNI Airdrop gave a few surprises last September and a direct impact on the increase of transaction fees in the Ethereum network.

Uniswap was not a bounty but an airdrop.
You're right about bounties. There hasn't been a serious project that has paid good bounties lately. But as I wrote before, this is due to the fact that serious projects are not able to pay good bounties as they did two or three years ago because of regulation. Therefore, when a new project pays high bounties, you know that it is very likely unregulated and dubious.

Yes, it is! But you have to work hard, participate in many various campaigns. I give you a good example! Today I checked my ETH wallets and I found out that one of the past campaigns - Jarvis send me 5000 tokens. Now I look and the value is after months of waiting around 1000 dollars!  Cool
That's cool reward, it's very hard to know which project will be successful even if the team are professionals, anything can happen, it's better to promote every good projects you see and wait for any positive out come, bounties are now 'try your luck' way of making money, do your own research and pray for some luck.

Bounties will continue to be useful because the job of bounty hunters is to make things viral or to make something trend. in other words as many people discuss the project.

In my opinion, if a large number of people talk about a project, it will make the website and social media up and trending. This is one of the things that can increase investor interest.

I think not all bounties are worth, but some bounties may worth to be joined at the moment.
What we should know is we must ensure the payment of the campaign, so we won't ended unpaid at the end of the campaign.

Couples of bounties have bring good rewards to bounty hunters this very year, I'm sure it's still worth promoting projects but many bounty hunters don't learn how to find out if a project have what it takes to be promoted and become successful, the fact is many developers are into crypto for money sake only, do not promote projects that aren't good enough, you can find answers by doing deep diggings
Yes, but I see hunters also learn self-taught because no one has taught them completely in terms of analyzing a project as well as other things that support crypto in general, because it is already very obvious that this year there are several projects that good for everyone, and it should be known deeply.

We all know that we can get free bucks on these "bounties" since a long time ago. But today, is it still worth it hence there are so many cryptocurrencies like millions of them I i'm correct.
I wonder for you guys who always participate in bounties, I really want to know your portfolio's.

Pls no shitpost here for your signature campaign thing so people know your real opinion.

I haven't participated in an bounty campaign for a long time. Because it was not a very profitable business. Scam projects were constantly coming out. I hope this is over now.

Bounty hunting is good for those who have all the time to promote more than two projects, to earn good rewards you can't rely on two different bounties, you need to promote more, not all projects will be successful, not all team members or developers know what they are doing, they are here for their own pockets, be wise and pick projects that have high chances of becoming successful, judge from the projects use case and team past experience too

Well everyone still participating in bounty campaigns is obviously hopeful of decent reward that is why he/she is participating. If someone is dead sure of no or low payment why would he even waste his time by participating in a campaign with strict rules?
Yes. Many campaigns do not pay or pay low but still there are projects that pay good in the end so it is at the moment kind of patience game to participate in bounties and wait for a campaign that pays really a good reward.
Reason why bounty hunters should have good eyes on picking which campaign they will be participating since they will put a lot of time and effort on doing the bounty.

It's worth promoting new projects only if you aren't lazy, it's tricky to get reliable bounty projects nowadays but still you have to gamble after your deep research, meaning you have to promote all projects you feel are good enough, I'm sure not all projects one promotes will end up a scam, this requires hardworking and patience

Yes, bounty hunting is still good if you were able to join those defi projects that are successful now like the uniswap where most of the users that are joining was able to get reward to which equivalent to 3 eth. I guess this is the best so far together with the sushiswap and yearn.finance coins to which market price has been pump and it hits more than bitcoin market price per coin. I think it reach to 32K USD per YFI coin and that is huge compared to bitcoin. However, when it comes to marketcap volume there is now way that other altcoins could beat bitcoin for now because bitcoin had more than 50% of the total marketcap volume in the market together with other altcoins.

Well, none of the DeFi projects that you mentioned have held a bounty campaign, so not sure why even bring them up in this thread, but yea, some bounty campaigns that have been held this year have been very profitable, like the DIA one, also I have high hopes then it comes to the Radix one. So yes, it is still possible to make serious doe via bounty hunting.

it still pays if you choose the right project.
In fact, projects have always been the same as this, and most have failed.
what people see is coincidence that in 2017 the market had bulls and bulls so high that many people assumed that doing bounties could be easy and high paying work, actually not if the market conditions were stable and there was no such rise then.

I came back again to open a bitcointalk account and join the bounty after a long time, this is because the price of bitcoin is always falling and many new projects are dying. but something new has come, namely the DEFI project, in my opinion this is a breath of fresh air for all of us to return to the spirit of returning to the world of cryptocurrency. bitcoin had a significant increase in price yesterday, I think investors will be interested again
