It's really hard to find a bounty that pays the hunters right, but there are still few out there who are good at paying, just in time. It would be better if we do not expect too much from what we earn here and we should have other source of income.
Yes indeed every year the profit from the bounty falls. In my opinion, good bounty projects can be counted on one hand now. The conditions are high and the payment isn't. So now it's worth doing this as a hobby.
I like that idea, doing things like treating it as a normal habit, instead of thinking with high returned which most of the time only frustrates you with the outcomes.
Try to sort those bounty campaigns and choose project according to how you trust
the developing team and the BM who runs the campaign.
Participate with high trust and enjoy your stay, it will be bonus once the project successfully launch and gained
good invetsors supports.
The earnings that could be raised from bounties have dwindled over the years and participating in bounties is no longer longer lucrative. We rarely see projects willing to pay in btc, eth or USDT, most projects can only pay with their tokens and we can't be certain of how a new project would perform after listing. We join bounties because there's no better options and hope that the project is successful.

on't be too pessimistic friend is what you say is true just a hand count but with the emergence of the defi project will make the bounty better than before, My advice before joining the bounty must be really careful from all aspects if the comparison is the bounty in the previous year, of course this year is bad. But rest assured, what is actually a bad bounty now is in the context of the payment received. meaning that the problem in this is the distribution and listing process to the market exchange. It is undeniable that currently the process is very long and sometimes the price is not very valuable. but along with the development of several projects, including DeFi, I'm sure the bounty will come back well again.

Bounties are in low volume in 2020. In fact, the rate of projects getting promoted via bounties have been in decline since their popularity in 2017/2018. One of the major reasons for this is because tracking the result of bounty efforts is difficult. Most projects devs have realized this and so they have basically cut off bounty campaigns from their projects to focus on other means of promotion. That is one of the reasons bounty rewards have dipped so low over the years. Worst case scenario, some devs don't even pay bounty hunters anymore because they fail to see their efforts at marketing the project in the first instance.

Only some bounties actually pay off, and others are fraudulent or pay cheap. I hope there is a better bounty system in the future

It is difficult but not impossible to find a worthy bounty. There are some good bounty in 2020 such as DIA, Oikos, YOUengine, Markaccy etc.I almost did not get anything because the bounty that I participated in ended a scam, but I never gave up and kept trying
I see that you have participated in the YOUengine signature campaign. I don't think it will be a scam and i hope you will get a good payment from this bounty.

this year really hard for us now , most of bounty campaign give us less money after listing in market or traded and even some of them scam ended. but when i see DIA campaign that managed by bubbalex , i found new spirit to stay in this forum. i am sure next DIA will occur again while market start recovery and good developers occur again.
I am participating currently in a BC, and I do believe in the project. However, many times in the past I have been scammed as the Project/coin never made it to the market. So it is a 50/50 chance of success.

Of course , and not only in bitcointalk and cryptocurrency, If you have a good amount of followers on youtube , instagram, or twitter you can do advertising for companies and get paid by USD, I know some singers are making thousands out of it !
The more follower/subscriber you have in Youtube is the high profit you can earn that's why some of my Friends are doing such.But this topic is about Bounty campaigns in which i believe are not worth Joining if you have no plenty of time to spend because more of them are not paying and will only waste your time.
Not Unless the person has nothing special doing in Life instead only Bounty is what he has for all of days.

I think it is still worth in this year, we know many new projects has been created in this year.
Some of them are running campaign and we can participating on their campaign as their supporter and promoter.

It is very difficult to find a Good Bounty Because Most of the Bounties are going to scam.They did not return to hunters. Now Bounties are like to a Lucky Draw.
Gaining Profit Ratio is very very low in Bounties, But we should continue to search and join Good Projects.
There are still good bounties dude, those managers with reputation still bring to this forum and present to us good bounties. Managers differs in terms of project, bubblex has always bring into the forum good project but not seen with campaigns often. Murat also has good bounties during the year and many host of others, so, this year 2020 is good bounties but still are bad bounties too. Gaining Profit Ratio is very very low in Bounties, But we should continue to search and join Good Projects.
As long as the crypto project still exists and the bitcointalk forum is still active, of course the prize campaign will continue and of course this will be able to provide a little extra money for us apart from the work we do in the real world, even though currently the income from participating in the bounty campaign is not as big as that we get it first but at least are not to be a reason for us to leave work as a bounty hunter, I personally currently make bounty work a side job, and it doesn't interfere with my main job at all.
I think there is a point because this forum is still the main media for new projects to introduce their project, and also making bounty campaign as a side job is indeed a good decision because if you use bounty campaign as mainjob it will make you lose and maybe not be able to survive.

I started working in a normal job, so I don't have time to focus more in bounty campaigns, but for those wo have enough time, it is still very interesting offer how to earn extra money, or get a free 'investment' for the future.
Absolutely agree, if have time then continue to participate in bounty and seek opportunities from it. If we are lucky, people will encounter bounty like DIA, work for 4 weeks and receive over $ 5000. That is a huge amount of profit in this market
I am participating regularly in signature campaigns for 2 years and didn´t earn such amount of money. Why I am so unlucky? 
I thought, that I am good in choosing the right campaign, but probably not.
