i think your are in bad friend circle . the gambling is a way to make profit in only 1-2% but with greedy mind gambler loss his money.

actually gambling is worth to be try to testing our luck but because your friend was already addicted and this is could be serious problem from him i think for now you should tell to him to stop gamble even though maybe he would not listen you because gambling will became not worth to person who has addicted

That's a gambling problem, and I don't think you can generalize and consider everyone that gambles has problems or is wasting time and money.
I think gambling can be a perfectly healthy hobby, if you have control over what your doing. The same as everything else actually.

You should of course try to talk to your friend and try to make him get professional help, because he seems to have a gambling problem, and if not treated in time it can only get worse, affecting everyone around him, as it seems it's already happening.

but if we lose we will lose our money so please dont play Gambling with money you can't afford to lose

If you are able to win then of course it was worth playing but if you lose then of course you are going to say to your self why did I go.
If you lose then it is never worth it because only winning matters with gambling.

I think he is very much addicted to what game he use to play as everyday gambling isn't normal something wrong at him . Even he owes you money dont bother to say no even he is your friend a true friend corrects and not spoiling what a friend do wrong things.

I would also add that it worth playing if you're ready to take the risk because that's what it is about but if you're not ready to take the risk and you're about winning alone? yes and no at the same time.

it mainly depends on the way you are playing the games. if you are busting your ass to make a profit out of a luck based game like dice then you are wasting your time and it is not worth wasting time and money on. but instead you should play it for the fun and enjpy your time.

It's not worth playing if you are using your last penny that supposed to be used in other things that are much more important to you than wasting it.. It doesn't matter if you are lucky or not, the thing is you are using your last money to gamble which is not a good idea and worst is that if you owe your friend a money to gamble then you are almost on the edge of losing your friend and money...
