Yes I think the social media influence greatly affects bitcoin growth because most people nowadays turn to social medias to check if what's new and what's the current news. Even older citizen are starting to get a hang with these social medias and check everyday what has been going on with the world lately unlike before wherein they just watch the television or hear on the radio what is happening around the world and mind you, my mom even read about bitcoin on facebook and told me about it.

When I started bitcoin, I was only informed about it by a friend. And I had zero idea about it. But lately, it is all over the internet. I've seen people in our neighborhood who are fine not eating sumptuous foods as long as they have their means to be connected in social media.
