Well im collecting bitcoins without search a lot of its price, the fact that i can exchange it into fiat anytime and put my extra into the savings is good.I dont do this because i prefer to invest and its bringing me good results soo i wont let it to the bank ,not now,in the end matters if you are going to sell 100btc for 400 or 350 dollars.

Even for 1 bitcoin 400 or 350 dollars matter cause 50$ is 1/8 part of bitcoin, it's money too and i think that price is matter too.

It is undoubted that bitcoin has an inherent value, but perhaps it only can be appreciated by some specialist. The vast majority of common people is unfortunately subjected to the economic demands of modern society where the ideologisms have no place, and we need to spend our time and money looking for the better options in terms of value to get a benefit, and in this case bitcoin is not an exception.

Just look at the market price, its very accurate. Currently bitcoin is worth 410$, and it does matter.

If it were 1 million $, you would be happier!

I guess he is talking those who are loving bitcoin in a different matter. That is why there is that "specialist" there. Well maybe I am with the common people but I dont care much. I love bitcoin in my own way.

what kind of love is that mate  Wink i usually used bitcoin to gamble and experiment with it, trying out new markets and exchanges, never had any intentions till now to convert to fiat, might do so in future if the price is good. Most of the time i will loose coins gambling  Grin

bitcoin prices are paramount owned bitcoin. because without the high prices probably nobody will use bitcoin again

True. True. So many that I have heard stopped due to the big fall from $1000 dollars to a very low price.

Just thinking about that. You would know that price matters.

of course it matters, its not the same if its 100$ or 10000000000000$

do you think its the same? Cheesy
Lol of course it is not the same, people will choose the higher prices in bitcoin is different with the buyer bitcoin, of course they need a low price and then up.
but the price is not an issue when you're in need of urgent cash, you're going to sell bitcoin at a fairly low price is not an issue

The price of Bitcoin is really important for the people who use Bitcoin, because if the value is not high than nobody wants to use it so it must be important.
You can even be rich with the price with Bitcoin if you are waiting long enough and if you are doing good and not spend it to wasted stuff.

It is the least important number for me.
What is the price? Really its a guess at value, and the price at an exchange reflects an aggregate of peoples perception of value. When we were rallying up to $1000 there was a great deal of speculation that we were about to go way up. But those guesses were wrong. Now we have fallen to a place that, for the moment, seems to support a valuation of $240. That is much more in line with the current use and scale of bitcoin. So if price is a guess, although our best one, why not look at something that is a fact instead?

Far more predictive numbers include:
1. number of venders that accept BTC
2. amount of capitol investment
3. number of markets exploiting BTC potential (online retail, remittance, etc.)
4. number of people and institutions using BTC

I agree with your points but price is a very easy way to get at your more predictive numbers.  I think it matters quite a bit for miners and for conveying that bitcoin is a serious technology.

I don't understand how you think the price matters to show it is a serious technology, would you please explain so I can understand? Yes I agree it matters to miners but anyone else who has not invested more than they can afford to lose it should not really matter as long as the tech is still going no matter the price I will be here for as long as the blockchain and community is here.

For me price really matters because if u buy btc at the low price for past few years u really earn more by this time. And the bigger the price the higher difficulty to mine by miners. And  if y stake now u will be get profit as experts says it will reach to 600$ per 1 btc

people differ in terms of the preferred favorite of bitcoin. many people have liked bitcoin because of their high price. I was also to have something more in love than that. ie decentralized system.
Everyone has their own way to love bitcoin. not only on the price dude

The price of bitcoin only matters if it matters to you friend you need to understand bitcoin is not answer to all problems.

It does not. No thing can answer all our problems. But bitcoin can make your life easier and add up some cash to make your budget fatter. For me my income monthly from my day job grew adding up my earning from bitcoin. And hell, that is really helpful.

Of course it matter, if it doesnt matter nobody will use it so it has no value, we have Bitcoin because we want to make some profit with it and earn some money with it.
The bad thing of the price is that you never know what happen with the value and what it will be.

Well the big holders investors around bitcoin sure would want the bitcoin to be at 1000 dollars ,they can invest a lot trying to push the price up,but the question around would be does the market without them can stand bitcoin at that value? The last time and only happen once till the moment bitcoin were pumped to 4 digits and turned into a nightmare since the market werent ready to stand with bitcoin with those great value.

Nowadays the price of bitcoin matters a lot, as a large number of peple have adopted bitcoin only because they want to be benefitted with the price of the bitcoin, for which they have heard that in the coming halving it will be increased. also these people have huge piles of coins and if the price drop they will lose theiir wealth.

That's true and I think the future of bitcoin mainly depends on the halving, as if the price goes high then people will continue to use it if price falls then many will loose their all money.

yes if we talk about the people who have collected a lot of coins, will effect with price increase or decrease, while those who use it only for their normal transactions will not be affected with it.

Yeah it will affect big investors who have invested lot of money into bitcoins  thinking that value will reach to the moon in future, but if it doesn't then they would be surely peniless.
it is always about the big investors they are the only one that manipulate the price of btc. i wish they help the price to grow more and more to reach 1000$ soon.
that is a goal for me to collect until the price will reach 1000$ and then sell all and make fun with money :p.
