that's just one aspect out of many. but it has a huge impact on the price, and miners and traders, and holders will benefit from it directly. after the media attention new people will make sure the price goes up, and that will trigger people to secure their profits. just look at what happened with mtgox. the media attention made the price surge to an all time high. all the people that bought back then are now waiting to see the price go back to the +$1000 levels as they bought at the peak.

In third world countries as quoted one bitcoin would give a very comfortable living. Even with signature campaign it's possible to spend on some of the regular needs.

Earning takes a lot of time before you can complete how many bitcoin you want. And yeah interest in bitcoin should take a lot of earning before having a interest in doing it. How would you get an interest in something that you wont get a profit in it?

Yup...Bitcoin price will matter to me till a day when I can buy anything and everything with Bitcoins, without having to exchange bitcoins for dollars. But that day is not too far,its coming by the name called Halving;)

Bitcoin has huge investment on it because its very volatil,for the miners is the way to get a huge return from their investments,as they mine a full block today being 50 btc a block,and sure the block matters as they have a huge bill.With bitcoin you can buy any other altcoins,that being pumped and dumped all days,soo this is a risky and one rare opportunity to make 1 btc investment and get 2 btc on the short time,but the same way you doubling others are loosing,always two sides.

can you give me an example of what people their lifes are depending on bitcoin? i really can't think of people depending that much on bitcoin.

If you research big time miner you will see that they depend on their daily life on bitcoin,they have made millions of dollars from mining so they are the people who depend on bitcoin.

Yeah Bitcoin matters, if you remove the associated dollar value then the balance in your wallet whether 0.5 or 1,000,000 BTC has no meaning. I doubt even the most hardcore believer would stick around for long.
