A month ago, a news channel made news about Bitcoin in my country. I still see a lot of people who think Bitcoin is a scam. I feel bad for them; they still don't understand Bitcoin's growth from zero to here. Those who are calling Bitcoin scam; they know Bitcoin, but they don't know how it actually works. And I saw a lot comment there they don't know what is Bitcoin, they heard first time about Bitcoin. I don't know any exact data, but in my opinion, less than 5% of people know about Bitcoin. That means a major part of the population is unaware of Bitcoin.
Those who have no idea about Bitcoin and who have been misinformed from the beginning will basically do the same thing about Bitcoin. If I always discuss with you the negative aspects of a subject, only the negative aspects of that subject will come to you, and whenever you hear the name of that subject, you will find its negative aspects. A country's journalists and other media spread negative propaganda about Bitcoin, which creates a negative perception of Bitcoin among people who did not know about Bitcoin in the past when they learn about Bitcoin anew. But beyond all these, if a user tries to learn about Bitcoin on his own, then he will definitely know something good about Bitcoin.

the media i think intentionally made BTC look like a scam to the public. because if there is good news for BTC like the approval of ETFs, the news never made it to the mainstream for all to hear. but if the news is about BTC being used to scam or the kidnapper asked for the ransom in BTC, the news will just spread like it is happening worldwide that even my pop who is just as bedridden as he is will start asking whether i'm involved to this kind of activity.  Grin

not everyone in the world will get a fair knowledge of the wealth distribution that is currently happening. they will miss it out because of the media and the people behind it they are keeping it out for the public to know. i think it should be our duty already to spread the word out.

To me i think there are some part of the world that still don't know anything about Bitcoin, because there are people in USA, UK, Australia, Canada, China, etc. even in Nigeria there are people that don't know anything about Bitcoin, they always think that Bitcoin is a scam, but people that know about it are making thousand of Dollars,($) I think they don't know that we are in a digital world now.
probably it may activate truth or not but provided that there are making use of internet especially social media they're supposed to have known that cryptocurrency is into existence, because it is truth that many people who know about cryptocurrency especially bitcoin today notice what is Bitcoin through social media and after noticing a bitcoin through social media they make a research about Bitcoin, so for me I think that people who know about cryptocurrency today is the people who want to know about it and the cryptocurrency has been circulate round to the civilized countries any country that is not civilized is the country that will not hear about Bitcoin but any country that is civilized most to hear about bitcoin because of the current technology we use now

I will only agree with you if you said that the people that will still be left out in Bitcoin knowledge will be the people that are yet to be civilized or people in remote areas like villages and settlements.
Bitcoin is been generally searched in google almost everyday, and people are adopting Bitcoin everyday; if you tell us that the numbers of people that adopt Bitcoin in the places you have mentioned are minimal, I will agree with you but if you say that majority of people living in these places you mentioned don’t know about Bitcoin I will put it to you that it’s a lie and you need more research to prove me wrong.

There are some parts of the world where there's no technology like the ones who are living in forest or mountains. Honestly, even the place where I live have some people who doesn't know about cryptocurrency and even if they did heard about bitcoin yet they still not sure what it is. Another thing is that there are some people who understand or know about bitcoin but didn't believe in it which means they didn't want to take risk in bitcoin. I would say that the world doesn't know about bitcoin completely as I have explained about places and people who know or didn't know about bitcoin.
Yes, I would agree to that because even in a place where I live, only few here are aware that bitcoin exists. They don’t know that digital money exists. Although some have heard about it, but were not interested to learn about more since the government is obviously against with it and would always warn the people wherein bitcoin is involved in scams.

Thus, it’s not surprising that there are still lots of people in the world who does not know about bitcoin. Aside from they are deprived on the access for latest technology, their government as well is not open about it. So all they know is only fiat and banks where fiat is saved.

The biggest thing since sliced bread is bitcoin. Everyone knows. The major networks and Wall Street's smartest experts cover it. Saying Bitcoin is unknown?  False news! Daily headlines discuss how its changing our money mindset. And its not just talk. From the SEC in America to China and Australia, governments are adjusting to this new reality. This is about our economy's future, not just buying and selling. You're responsible for not knowing about Bitcoin. This is a revolution in progress. Wealth, security, and independence. Avoid being left behind.

if they can access the internet, then I think they've at least heard of bitcoin. Whether they think bitcoin is a scam or not, they should know that there is an alternative payment on the internet called bitcoin. However, many people still don't know what bitcoin actually is, but they have heard about it. I've seen videos of young people being offered 1 bitcoin and $100, and they chose $100 because they lacked information about bitcoin. However, at least they have heard of it. The conclusion is, the whole world may have heard the word bitcoin, but there are still many who don't know what, how, and the value of bitcoin itself, which is why education is really needed.

There are many people in this world who do not know about Bitcoin or the cryptocurrency market. Although this field has been established and developed for nearly 20 years, it has only recently been recognized. There are still not many countries that accept Biitcoin, so it is understandable that not many people know about it. Most countries do not want their people to know about Bitcoin. To be honest, the birth and development of Bitcoin directly threatens the position of fiat currencies as well as the banking system. Therefore, most countries are very cautious about Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market.

For a long time, people have always known Bitcoin in utility media as an asset used for fraud. They try to give bad information about Bitcoin and intentionally ignored positive aspects and developments of this market. So, it gradually creates stereotypes for people who do not understand Bitcoin, leading them to lose interest and give up learning about this market.

They are cautious about bitcoin because it is so new, its volatility is also something they worry about...many other reasons but I don't think the government is afraid that bitcoin will affect the value of fiat or banks. I also had this thought before but then I don't think the government is afraid of bitcoin, because if it really threatens the value of fiat money or banks, they will join forces to destroy it or impose restrictions harsh ban on it. And look, most countries today have gradually adopted bitcoin to a certain extent.

In my opinion, the development of bitcoin is very fast and amazing, it is not as slow as many people think. We cannot expect that with just 20 years of bitcoin's existence, everyone should know about it, a revolutionary change may even take hundreds of years before being fully accepted.  If you compare the ages of bitcoin and humans it is a significant amount of time, but compared to other assets like gold and real estate, bitcoin is still just a baby.  You can't expect a newborn to run, jump, or have adult relationships.

I believe that there are some more that don't know about Bitcoin, and only a few percentage of the total global populations knows about it. For us, we feel that it's becoming more and more popular since we're using it. While it's true that it's becoming more and more popular over the years, there are still many people out there that don't know about Bitcoin. Those who have access to the internet probably knows it.

I read from several sources, The world population is around 8.1 billion and there are about 420 million people in the world using crypto. This means that about 5% of the world's population knows and probably more than that knows but does not use. The data I got was an estimate of crypto users and maybe it would be more if the restrictions were only limited to knowing crypto.

Re: Does the world know about Bitcoin?
No, and I can give list of people that probably don't know that a thing called Bitcoin exists.
1. Some old people that doesn't even know how to use smartphones. Even those old people that have smartphones might not even know it at all.
2. People on the remote areas that doesn't even have any access on smartphones or any kind of gadgets that we currently are using right now.
3. This is a no-brainer, but kids for sure don't know about Bitcoin. Cheesy

I believe that there are some more that don't know about Bitcoin, and only a few percentage of the total global populations knows about it. Have you found any particular resources or strategies helpful in educating skeptics about the potential benefits of crypto?

Show them the historical chart of Bitcoin as an initial inspiration and make them understand the potential of cryptocurrencies and what they can do. I don't think they would be interested after knowing that on top of other benefits and properties, they can also earn money if they get involved with cryptocurrencies.

Remember, always let them know the risks involved when they make investments in cryptocurrencies because those who ignore this fact or are misguided tend to lose money and then start showing hatred towards cryptocurrencies which isn't what we would want them to do.

Yes because crypto works on technology and I believe developing countries do not have a great chance of mastering due to the state of facilities. Not only that mindset, literacy skills also keep many countries from developing into the digital, including cryptocurrencies. So many people know unfounded facts and they keep talking to others and cause bad crypto conditions for new people.
Yes, one of them is indeed the ability to literacy and understanding how crypto actually works.
Sometimes some skeptics are reluctant to know more about crypto, and they only judge based on other people's assessments or surrounding judgments that crypto is dangerous, the market is volatile, detrimental and many other negative things.

It just needs proof and a good understanding that will make crypto quite positive.
Proof that crypto provides tremendous profits and when the halving is done just need to wait for the new ATH to be reached,
and it will attract many people to start entering and believe that crypto or bitcoin will be a profitable asset in the future.

Yes not all people in all countries of the world know about Bitcoin. In the country where I live, 1-2% of people know about Bitcoin depending on my area. Many compare my investment in Bitcoin to gambling. I believe that at some point almost everyone in our country will know about Bitcoin. Everyone will believe Bitcoin is trustworthy and investing in Bitcoin will be profitable, but it is a matter of time. I think at some point in the future everyone in the whole world will know about Bitcoin.

True, even access to Internet is still difficult for some countries or places, that's why I can say there is still a very small percentage of people who introduced or have ideas about Bitcoin.
Some people already heard Bitcoin but they really don't know what Bitcoin is, how it works.
This is the reality of what happened to Bitcoin. And in my opinion, the average person doesn't know much about Bitcoin, especially those in rural areas, apart from unsupported internet access, information is also a problem for them which means they don't know much about it. Maybe they've heard of it but it's too obscure for them so they don't really care because they don't understand what Bitcoin is and that's what makes them don't want to understand it and are even ignorant.
However, it cannot be denied that although there are still many shortcomings in internet access and information, the use of Bitcoin continues to grow and to reach deeper locations still takes a very long time. And what must be done is an initiative for Bitcoin users who have been around for a long time and have good knowledge about Bitcoin to provide information and also provide adequate internet access. Because the government or local authorities will not do this, and another reason is because Bitcoin is still illegal.

Do you really expect everyone to know what’s bitcoin, like when talking of the world, the world is far beyond the countries you mentioned and from my view countries like Canada, USA, China are more better when it comes to  modern technology. You don’t expect much from any country like op mentioned the world that consist of billions of people, even within such large number range not all can afford a better life talk less of bitcoin awareness. Aside poverty, most people don’t associate with the internet for research and work etc, they just live a simple life nothing else. Some category of people think everything concerning the internet associated with money can serve as a scam scheme, everyone with their different opinion and decision why they don’t want bitcoin. No one should bother anyone about bitcoin from my opinion as bitcoin will grow with or without anyone opinion

Sir warren-Braffet , Donald trump, There have been many more superstars who know bitcoin but don't want to believe it so I'll assume they don't know about bitcoin.
Yes but it is true that most of the people in the world have not got proper knowledge about Bitcoin or are not trying to. Less than 2% of people around the world are aware of this virtual currency. People living inside the Amazon rainforest will never know about Bitcoin. Only the civilized nations of the world can gain knowledge about this virtual currency.
