To me i think there are some part of the world that still don't know anything about Bitcoin, because there are people in USA, UK, Australia, Canada, China, etc. even in Nigeria there are people that don't know anything about Bitcoin, they always think that Bitcoin is a scam, but people that know about it are making thousand of Dollars,($) I think they don't know that we are in a digital world now.
Almost all countries know about Bitcoin, although there are some countries that may not know about Bitcoin. But I don't immediately agree that the country you mentioned is a country that doesn't know about Bitcoin because the US is a country that has a large amount of Bitcoin in their portfolio.

For me, what is needed is not promoting Bitcoin because Bitcoin is very familiar to people who are updated on world developments.
What is needed is someone who knows the advantages and how Bitcoin works.

It is true that there are still many places in the world where no one knows about bitcoin. They may be out of touch with technology and have no connection to the internet so how will they know about bitcoin if there is no internet. If they know about the use of bitcoin they will definitely use bitcoin but it will be difficult to convince them many will not want to invest easily considering the risk. There are many older people who do not believe in these and have no knowledge about technology.

Don't be surprised if there are people who don't know about Bitcoin because I guess that people who don't know about the internet are very likely to experience this because the information they have access to is limited, as well as people over 60 years old who are usually not very interested in technology, especially if they live in a country with a limited internet connection, they will usually prefer something traditional.
You can tell Bitcoin to those closest to you about the technology, while other things such as the profits you get from storing it will be like financial advice which might be misinterpreted by them if you don't explain it correctly.

I'm sure there are tons of people who haven't heard of Bitcoin or have heard of it but didn't pay attention and know nothing about it. Bitcoin is owned by less than 5% of the population. It doesn't mean that 95% are unaware of it, but I believe it means that a significant amount is likely to be unaware.
Some countries did polls on Bitcoin and/or cryptos, so it's easier to understand how many people haven't heard of it there, but I couldn't find trustworthy international data. In the US, only 12% of adults haven't heard of cryptos, for example, as of 2023. But that doesn't mean that the numbers are similar on the global level.

There are some people who don't know about Bitcoin because in certain areas there is no internet and the origin of Bitcoin is not possible without the use of the internet. And those who are a little bit familiar with Bitcoin are not going to accept it because of their trust in physical investment instead of digital investment.

People will only accept it if they find anyone who is getting huge profit from Bitcoin investment but I think we cannot give brief details to anyone about Bitcoin who is living in a village because they are not mostly related to online earning.

You need to understand that, as the world is evolving not everyone is moving with the new trends. Tchnology, even money has evolved and we are now in the Cryptocurrency era even though the fiat is still the most used currency currently but you should know that there are still primitive people that are not used to the modern world, there are still some tribes that are located in forests and survive with nature, they lack exposure to technology and it would take a long time for them to get exposed to the modern way of life. Asides that, even in the modern world there are people that have been scammed through Bitcoin and thus it made them to develop such believe that Bitcoin is a scam not knowing it was used by bad actors to scam them. Such people lack understanding and it's our duty to teach about it when we come across them, well the social media is playing a good role towards that and I believe with time more people would begin to understand Bitcoin and it's usefulness.

I think the answer is yes" the world knows about bitcoin, bitcoin is the  must popular cryptocurrency in the world, and is also known as the most reliable and profiting coin in terms of crypto investment. The risk in bitcoin investment is never to be compared with the risk in other coins like meme and altcoins that is why a lot of people prefer to invest in bitcoin instead of other coins, this makes bitcoin getting more popular to the world.

Bitcoin is already known worldwide, but only selected groups or individuals actually know and have an interest in it. I'm sure many people know about it or have seen it but don't have a slight idea because it is complex, and many people are afraid to try new things, especially if they are related to money or what. That's why I think if we can just spread bitcoin in a good way or in a proper way, then we could influence other people to invest in it and actually earn from it, because not all things are easy to do and there are risks in everything, so if we can have a proper introduction and a proper guide for other people, then it will be a good thing. So to answer your question, yes, bitcoin is already known worldwide; it just has to be pushed and properly introduced so people will take a risk on it.

That we are in a digital world does not mean that we all will shift to becoming aware of the things happening in the digital world over night, people move at different pace and speed, and so also does becoming aware of new invensions take some time for some and most people.
It is true that some people in several parts of the world are yet to become aware of the existence of bitcoin, or what it stands for, but I do not blame such people because possibly, the information about bitcoin has not reached them.

Innovations like this doesnt arise and become known all over the world overnight, it takes time, several years actually, what If I tell you that there are still some part of the world that know nothing about gold and other precious stones? So, it is with time that the knowledge of bitcoin will reach every crook and cranny of the world.

You're right, many people in this world don't know about the existence of cryptocurrencies and bitcoin yet. For them, this is something unreal. I hope that this situation will change in the coming years and more and more people will join bitcoin.

If they can say Bitcoin is scam, technically they know Bitcoin.

If they say "what's that?" "Umm sorry, Bitcoin?", those people really didn't know Bitcoin at all.

There's always a person that still didn't know Bitcoin because they're poor and they didn't even have cell phone to access digital world. You can try to ask beggars in your country.

I know plenty of people who never heard of bitcoin, and if they heard about it, they still don’t know what it is.
But assessing the situation only by one’s immediate environment is not an indicator of the reliability of this data. Statistics with a large number of respondents are needed. Also, have you talked to all of them about bitcoin? There is still a possible moment when people will remain silent about their knowledge about bitcoin, if they have experience investing in this asset, both positive (to avoid theft and robbery) and negative (not wanting to share about their failures).

Terpin "bitcoin", as a certain brand, I believe, many people could hear from the media and news, because every strong drop or rise in price is widely discussed, but without personal interest (the desire to invest), their knowledge probably ended there.

Ask any old person if they know what Bitcoin is and see if you find someone who actually knows anything about crypto currency.
Most older people have either heard very little (know nothing) about bitcoin, or have heard, but consider it a ponzi-pyramid-scheme due to their low awareness on this topic (a superficial judgment based on government media).

I think most people who are in charge of their portfolios, they follow the markets and they know what Bitcoin is.
BTC-investors, at a minimum, have a basic understanding of this type of asset, but if their portfolio doesn't include cryptocurrencies (filled with securities from the traditional stock market), then these investors may not be aware of bitcoin, because all their attention is focused on Wall Street.

However aside from these people and maybe a few people with jobs in the tech sector, they don’t know anything about bitcoin.
There are also not many bitcoiners in the technology sector, because I have heard from many of them their hostility towards bitcoin and their attitude as a financial pyramid. Again, all their judgments were based on their minimal (insufficient) knowledge of bitcoin.

If we sum up a certain thesis, then we can safely say that people’s lack of knowledge/acceptance of bitcoin is based on their ignorance. Those who more or less have sufficient information about bitcoin see advantages in this asset and try to take advantage of it.

Many people who do not know about bitcoin today is as a result of uncivilization, residing in poor networking areas like village there by not being able to access the internet or not being able to afford degital assets because of poor earnings or no aidable means of earning income. But most people today choose to be ignorant of bitcoin mostly because of related stories of how people are been scammed off their bitcoin. Some people do not even want to know more about bitcoin on hearing the the current price of bitcoin, they conclude it is no longer accessible or too expensive to get.
I agreed with you op, many people around the world do not know about bitcoin. So with any little opportunity we get coming across such ones, let us try to educate them, advice them and change their primitivity on bitcoin.

I think your opinion you are trying to express via this post is vague. Now I'm saying this because if I should answer the title of your post, the answer is obviously a capital YES. Bitcoin is not only the first crypto currency in the world but also the most popular crypto currency with the highest market value and market cap in the whole of the crypto space. Bitcoin currently is one of the most trusted form of crypto investments amongst all other crypto currencies not only because of its current value but also because of it trend and nice pumps over the years.

Now for me I think the best title for this post should be "How much of the world understands Bitcoin" because literally it's safe to say the whole world knows about Bitcoin however not the whole world understands it and how it works.

In fact, many people already know about Bitcoin but are still in the stage of ignorance and doubt, they are not even investing. That is why we can't assume that everyone will take this as an opportunity and we can't urge them to do so as taking risks is not the passion of all but a choice of some.

Adaption is too low but the spread is too fast, unfortunately, with the number of scam issues that we heard in the news, that somewhat influences the listeners as well and becomes uncertain.

IMO, it is not about knowing the number of people who know about Bitcoin, it is supposed to know how strong their interest is in this.

It's true that there are still some people who don't know bitcoin, even some of my office friends don't know what bitcoin is. And as you said some of my friends think bitcoin is a scam. When they asked me if I was trading or investing in bitcoin, many of them warned me to be careful. But I'm sure that's only some people.

In my opinion, people who don't know about bitcoin are divided into 2 categories. The first is people with a low economy so they don't have access, then the second is people who don't follow technology and these are usually older people so they miss out on technological developments. I'm sure compared to previous years, this year people's understanding of bitcoin is very great. At least they must have basic knowledge about bitcoin or crypto.

Does the world know about Bitcoin?
If you compare the age of bitcoin with traditional assets such as gold or real estate, bitcoin is just a newborn, so it is normal that many people do not really know about its existence. Besides, there are many people who think it is a scam, which is not too strange because it simply has not been legalized worldwide, many governments still ban it. But that is an advantage, not necessarily a disadvantage, an advantage for us, the pioneers of the bitcoin revolution. So we need to take advantage of this time to own as much bitcoin as possible before the rest of humanity fights for it.

I think they don't know that we are in a digital world now.
Being in the digital world is not equal to knowing about bitcoin. There are digtal payment systems and online payments which are the hallmark of a digital era but bitcoin is nowhere within it, so dont equate them.

Now since I have been with bitcoin since 2015, there was a time when a handful of people knew about bitcoin in my country. From there today I can see bitcoin casinos being promoted with banners on the passing by cars and people casually talking about the recent altcoin investments.

So indeed we have improved, but there is a huge room for further improvement. Misconceptions cannot always be cleared, your job is to help clear them as much as possible.

The world generally knows about Bitcoin, Bitcoin is now a globally known asset but not yet a currency. Around the world people see Bitcoin as an asset that they can either use to grow their wealth or store the value of their wealth. We still have a long way to go before Bitcoin get recognized and used as a currency. There are still some people that don't have an idea what Bitcoin is and those that intentionally neglected knowing about Bitcoin irrespective of them having the opportunity of hearing about Bitcoin but they don't care because the governments has spoiled their mind and they consider Bitcoin a scam already.

We owe it to the industry to enlighten people when we get the opportunity because we shouldn't expect the governments to help us by doing that. We're on our own as the governments are enjoying the negative reaction people get when they hear about Bitcoin as it keeps them away from investing. As the day goes by, more and more people needs to keep hearing about Bitcoin and they will but for now, I believe the gospel is spreading so fast.
