in my opinion right now is the right choice to sell all your DOGE and change it to BTC because Altcoin is currently suffering a lot. and maybe you've heard if the price of BTC will surge in the next few months or years. so I think you will not regret if you sell all of your DOGE to change it to BTC. if you are still in doubt then you have the right to choose a decision for your own good.
The current market is bleeding so you think if they change Bitcoin it will going to moon on next bull run. But DOGE and BTC both are similarly follow the pump and dump, so stay anyone is the better option and most of the investors are like to invest Bitcoin so again it will growing soon.

Personally, I will continue to hold Doge because there is still a wide opportunity continue to increase prices in the next few months. Doge prices are now at a rate of 34 satoshi and I am sure this will continue to increase. But if you want to buy, place a buy order at the rate of 30 sats, its possible I think.

I think it's better if you wait for the right price, and then release the doge you have on the market, now the price of the doge is still very cheap and if you buy the doge when the price is expensive then of course you will feel the loss if you release the current doge, see the development the current market, I think doge will again experience pump prices in the future, and it can be said that if the doge still has a large prospect for investment, I myself still hold the doge on the market with quite a lot and wait for the right price to sell it.

There is no project or company manage or develop this dogecoins in a professional way, so it's hard to predict the price by fundamental analysis.
It's up when people have much demand on it and it's down when people are selling, just like that

I would hold the Doge until there is a rally in the coin and we usually see the price of dogecoin going to 200 SAT once in a while but it is hard to understand when we will see the rally, if you want to convert dogecoin to bitcoin to take advantage of the bitcoin rally after the halving then you should do that before that, but i would rather hold dogecoin for the huge rally and would invest in bitcoin too in the mean time.

If you don't have any BTC i would recommend, you choose the big father of crypto BTC. Sell Doges to buy BTC and then hold BTC. If you sell your Doges at 50% loss, and get into a rising BTC while the Doges are still dropping, you can buy back your Doges later at an even lower price.

The next year is all about the BTC halving hype and alts will get desecrated in Satoshi value. when i look at some coins in my portfolio and the changes in the past such as BTC vs Alts, then i have to say, i lost at this moment 30-60% depending on the coins in compare, i never changed my Alts for BTC.

I think you can sell it at an exchange that can be easier to get the best rate and of course your trading can be safer, why don't you sell at an exchange that has a high trading volume? or you can hold the doge you have because I see the doge still has the potential to increase prices.

At the moment,Bitcoin market is better than Dogecoin. Because Dogecoin all time best price is $0.0187 and Bitcoin all time best price is $20,089. So, in my opinion, holding Dogecoin is prefer than Bitcoin.

You're right, but also you're wrong.
It's correct that doge never beat bitcoin in marketplace, but your way comparing coins is wrong. Don't just look at the price but you have to compare the circulating supplu and marketcap and daily/weekly/monthly volume also.
Or easily you can see the chart in coinmarketcap

i dont see anything wrong in his comparison  but i also agree on you  . comparing coins does not end on the price but we should also consider other factors like the ones that you mention above but let say we include the supply and the market cap  , doge cant still stand a chance on btc   . doge supply is high which is bad for one coin , i dont also think that the market cap of doge is high than btc   .  @op  , you should not convert all so that you still have some doge left  .

If now you don't need money maybe you better just hold your Doge coins, be patient for another year then I'm sure Doge will reach his new ATH. Many predict the price of Doge at the end of this year will reach 50 sats again. Let's wait to see that happens.

BTC is also down why do you want to convert it?, well it's hard to predict when will increase the price, just try to hold DOGE a few months more or hold til December, who knows maybe the price will increase.
The original post was posted a month ago and the price during that time was good and until now the market is still the same. OP didn't update on what he actually did with those doge's he has.
With what I've said, I will never have a doubt to my decision by selling those doge's although I love that altcoin but bitcoin is more valuable.

the current price of doge is $ 0.0024, and if you intend to exchange the doge you have in the form of bitcoin, I suggest changing it when the price can reach $ 0.003, but that may take time. as far as I am concerned, people now prioritize bitcoin over other altcoins. before the price of a bitcoin pump, or again reaches the price of $ 15,000, I suggest to change it. but if you have other plans, maybe holding a doge isn't a bad choice either.

people have always prioritized bitcoin. apart from the newcomers who entered during 2017 who didn't know better, nobody ever bag holds altcoins. because they all know that in the long run altcoins will always go down.
right now Doge is worth 24 Satoshi (and yes that is how you report the price not in USD because nobody buys it with USD). and that is a free fall from ATH of 100 satoshi over the years.
yes, I changed the price to dollars so it was easier to understand. however, I am really serious to say, that at this time, it is better to focus on collecting bitcoin than doge. Well, if you use doge for fun, that might be natural, but for investment, I don't think doge is suitable. so far the price of the doge has reached $ 0.002694 in dollars. but this is my view, maybe other people have different opinions.

if i were you, maybe i would keep holding it until the market really got bullish and the second option was to sell half, but i think the second option is not very important and i will really hold it because i believe the market will definitely get the bullish trend in the future. but all the choices are in yourself, you are free to do anything as long as you believe that choice is the best for you i think it will be fine

Hello people,

Angell
You should really sell DOGE to buy Bitcoin right now. why?
because DOGE seems to be sideways only for the whole year and there is no news or signs of breakthrough growth.
Only Bitcoin, 2020 is its 3rd halving event and its value is sure to rise very high. This is a good time to buy BTC first and hold it until the third quarter of 2020.
I think buy and hold DOGE isn't bad idea too. DOGE is indeed on their sideways (the price always around 28-30 sats), we knew once it got pumped, DOGE would be reach at least 100 sats or 3x than atm price (this pump also have happened many times). Buy a little doge and keep it for long term would be better idea

Many altcoins are now at price lows, I think DOGE also belongs to this category. However, the coin is old and it is unknown whether it will be able to demonstrate even greater growth in the future. You can sell some of your coins and reinvest your funds in more recent top altcoins. Risk diversification is a way to preserve your portfolio.

Right now, it is better to covert altcoins into BTC, because whatever happens the next coin to raise is going to be BTC. After that altcoins will raise as well, the time in between would be very important to switch your BTCs back into altcoins to get the highest profit.
Convert those shitcins that you have but keep holding the altcoins which is huge in terms of capital and already on the top spot because they also have the potential, and they can also give you profit especially ETH. I believe having more BTC is the best during bear market, try to accumulate much of bitcoin.

Bitcoin just made a downfall. So expect the dump from altcoins too as marketcap in general has been cut. Better go to stablecoins which give security from devaluation of your coin. Also you have bad choice of buying cryptocurrency. Dogecoin is been out there for years and still made no improvements at all. Dogecoin also known for a pump and dump scheme coin. Also supply makes it harder to market because of adding supply per year. But if you want faster recovery. Then you should exchange that for Bitcoin because it is the first to move up before altcoins.
