Its a difficult decision. I have alts too and am in the same predicament. Obviously the best time to sell was some months ago, before BTC began its rise. But now it may be too late. The question is whether the next surge will be led by BTC or whether alts will take over - personally I think it's likely to be BTC leading again. However I am keeping my alts because I don't trade very often (for tax purposes), and I think that in the long term the position will be better for alts (at least good alts).

I think it depends on what price you bought it, i mean if already profit, i think sell is good. If me i will change to ETH because ETH have higher chance to increased. But this is only personal speculation, if only me who hold the ETH. At least i know where my investment will go.

That can be a good decision if you have profit already with Doge but looking at its price, for sure you lose a lot of money. If you're wiling to take that risk then do it because there's no major progress with DOGE as of the moment and its price can still go deeper but with bitcoin, that risk can be lessen. Doge was a good coin, but I doubt on its future if they continue to go lower than the expected of many investors.

i see doge still make small pumps but it seems on critical condition unlike bitcoin so you should switch in my opinion. Especially if you want to accumulate profits. Because there's no future on it even if you keep holding for long run. See the chart history because it become stagnant after diving from the top. In my view it takes years again to recover like other altcoin. So you better think about it. Regards

You can try to see the latest chart of doge and it is always getting dumped and what you can expect from a dead coin with no development combined with hyperinflation? Bitcoin always becomes the best choice to convert but it's very confusing to consider about doge can be pumped anytime and it much better to keep some in doge and you can put the rest into the bitcoin to make sure you have gotten the safe investment.

Yeah, because DOGE had a good price a few months ago but now it is going down. And BTC is rising so I am not sure.
