LOL, I am afraid doge won't be existing after 100 years. Maybe bitcoin can, but doge, very difficult to exist 100 years.

for a few days now seems like doge coin is rising to it's glory times, not sure if it stays at the top and might go down again like it had before but still is a good coin to buy and hold some as you never know what future will bring.

Doge rebounded a little bit, yesterday was 49 on polo, and how is 40, decent market cap, it means this won't be dead.

and who says doge is dead? look at the doge price now, it is pumping and in good position.

It now looks that the pumping of Doge is over. If it is not then now would be a safe time to get in without fearing of it going down really fast. The people who bought at near 50 satoshis must be regretting why the panicked themselves into buying too early.

I've got a few extra buy orders in place now, hopefully the price will come down far enough before the next pump, that was a nice short ride. I like trading in DOGE coin, its much slower than BTC and ETH.

Trading doge will take us longer time to earn money with that and that is one of the reason i already dump my doge's and find another alternative coins who does more flactuation in market trades, and seems doge are in stable state now, but if a group of pumper will pump it i think doge will be profitable again like just before.

I like to put my BTC into different virtual buckets, some volatile, some higher risk, some slow secure growth funds, some sitting in a wallet, DOGE is a fairly stable coin (doesn't usually go < 35sat) so I use it as a secure, low growth bucket, I think its good to have a mix of different growth/risk levels, I then push 50% of the profits off to a wallet and reinvest the other 50% back into DOGE or other coins. Probably not the most effective strategy - but works nicely for me

Doge is not dead. On yobit, doge is still actively traded with some decent volume. The sellers and buyers book is full with orders. A dead coin to me trades @ 1 Satoshi with no buyers.

I definitely agree, dogecoin is not going to be dead anytime soon and probably will stay for a very long time.

Always seems to be the way with DOGE, seems to drop to the mid 30s before a nice pump to anywhere between 45 and 120. Its a good way to make gains (albeit rather slowly), DOGE coin is awesome. Especially now I can use it to transfer by BTC between exchanges too. =)

Some use dogecoins because they are a medium of transferring value from one exchange to another. The fee is cheaper and the confirmations are faster. I think this is good if it is only for small amounts. Maybe in the future the users will handle bigger and bigger amounts.
Thanks for the information - I never thought of doing that before - I have always transferred in BTC - seems so obvious to transfer in a currency with much lower fees. Doh

Indeed, I can't see DOGE collapsing any time soon, its one of those coins that increases and decreases in cycles, best to buy when the value is on the way down and not sell them too cheaply

Here here. As with any kind of investment opportunity, I've grown to see some real profit with waiting on the downturn. It's really simple, and I don't really see what people don't understand about bitcoin itself and these altcoins. Buy up low, sell out when you think the upturn is about 3/4 of the way finished to avoid large loss.

I think that is the reason that the trade volumes are a bit intermittent too as some people are holding out for large increases or decreases, when DOGE drops to a certain threshold I'm sure its price will increase again.

If anything, dogecoin is more alive than it has been for a long time. It has held steady at ~$0.16 per thousand dogecoin for the last 2 years and now it's at ~$0.27 per thousand.

Why complain? Take advantage breh.

Someone might have just sold a lot of it but it is still there. I dont think supporters would let that happen. Sit back and relax.
