It's not dead since there's still action going on. As long as trades happen and software updates happen from time to time, it's hard to consider a coin dead. OF course all those delusional idiots expecting 1 dollar per Doge or something didn't learn the lesson: All coins are dead compared to Bitcoin.

I'm irritated at this coin atm. Lazy indeed. Stuck a few days earnings in DOGE thinking we were close to the bottom. Surprised the Bitcoin price movement didn't help the sitch.

When an asset is this cheap, satoshis matter. I do think it's about to pop back up again pretty soon, ESP if we see a sustained downtrend in bitcoin for more then a few days in the near future.

DOGE is one of those coins that will be around forever Smiley on occasion it gets pumped and then falls back down to this sort of level, no doubt it will increase up to 45 - 50 at some point, nice time to buy right now.

not dead, it just fluctuation, fluctuating it's normal for every cryptocurrency. 30+ satoshi it's a lowest price in this month for dogecoin, and it seems now it's a great time to buy. Grin

I do not think dogecoin is dead.
But it has fallen behind.
If you look at coinmarketcap, dogecoin has lost its place in the top 10 of the currencies with the biggest marcet capitalisations.
Right now it's #13, but soon will be overtaken by nxt.
I hope that this trend does not succeede too much.

Is Dogecoin Dead??

Did anyone notice that Dogecoin price decreased. It's going down day by day. Hope it will go to the moon..

Dogecoin 13th position on coinmarketcap!....

I wonder why you're saying this,ut still has a big volume on Yobit and the price is much better two months ago, they are much alive and one of the most stable coin in the market, better check the stat before posting ..

Maybe he's trading in the other trading site. That makes him say that dogecoin is dead. Remember that there is slight difference in the different trading sites. Although, I do not have a background about dogecoin, but I think its price is stable and it's Market Volume. Maybe give doge a little time more to bloom and pump its price to its peak.

To be honest, the market cap of $25mn feels extremely toppy for an alt that has no standalone utility whatsoever. I think Dogecoin will wither away over time, never to reach its peak again.

it's got more than most. it was used for tipping like crazy, gambling, fundraising. most other alts are never used for one single thing in their whole miserable little lives.

Its not dead yet because its not gone that much low right now but yes its value has decreased in last few months.
I really loved dogecoins when i was pretty new to both bitcoin and dogecoin.Because at that i was holding some doges and their price got increased.
I just hope dogecoins dont fall and get back to 50-60 satoshi again.

honestly i'm not interested to trade Dogecoin because the prices seems stuck with very long times and now the prices has decrease day by day with the current prices 36 satoshi but i guess those prices is not so bad and most people still like using or holding Dogecoin and i say that Dogecoin is not dead because decrease prices will not automatically dead

I recognise that the community is very passionate, but in the long run only utility matters not passion. What can Doge enable today that no other coin can or can only do imperfectly? My take is nothing.

What more development can be done on dogecoin? Is there something new that can be done? Something spectacular? If not then it will slowly die. It is up to the merchants and start up if they decide to use dogecoins in whatever ideas they conjure. But it is there waiting to be used and wilting away.

the best technologies, the newest coins are diying in 3 months, not a good argument
