A little shocked that the project focused on making a farm in the country I live. And were shocked more upon knowing that the goal is only around 400USD or 20K PHP, which if tractors and equipments would be bought, might never be enough. A few questions that I still want raise, are the Taxes and the labor fees to those who would make this possible physically are considered in setting the collection goal? Since it is already completed, I think it is not that bad to make a "hard cap" like for the donation.
Good job btw. I think this is a nice way to gather enough resources to create something that would create more money and of course for the people who need it and would work for it.
Well, with a Gross operating budget of about $400 .. I will not expect these guys to have a commercial farm with tractors and equipment. This will be a small scale "hand-to-mouth" operation that will feed about 3 families, if they are lucky. I should say hard manual labor will be the direction this project will be going.
Something that bothers me is the decision making .... You run into difficulty and you decide to use the existing funds to run for the new operation and you spend that to buy food. I know it is a survival decision and most would have done the same, but still...
Have you tried any of the Social support organizations in your country?
