After a catastrophic earthquake, everything fell apart in moments. The loss of loved ones in the span of a moment will be mourned for a lifetime. With the passing of time, the assurance of life is gradually reducing. 72 hours have almost passed. The tears of losing dearest seem to be getting heavier. Rescue work is underway but much remains to be done. This situation seems to increase the grief. Aid is coming from different parts of the world, but is it possible to quickly help the people under the rubble? Everything will be reconstructed once a time but those people will never be seen.

This one incident in Turkey has moved the hearts of people all over the world. Suddenly on the newsfeed I see a huge magnitude 9 earthquake in Turkey and the roads and all the buildings under construction in Turkey have collapsed. I know why this news was difficult to accept. After a while I can see what tragic situation has been created in Turkey. How people are buried under the rubble. One video really touched my heart. Someone might have been buried under the rubble of the buildings and he might have been hitting some iron very hard with something to attract the attention of the rescue workers so that the rescuers would realize his presence. The truth is very tragic. May God give patience to those who lost their relatives in this accident. What we have to do now is to stand by Turkey and those of us who cannot financially stand by Turkey, pray to God that this situation will be normalized very soon.

This earthquake in Turkey has shaken the hearts of people all over the world. It will not be wrong to say that this earthquake is a tragic earthquake in history. There is nothing worse than being a family member hearing many people plead for help but not being able to do anything for their family. The rescue workers have already managed to rescue many people alive through tireless efforts but the rescuers are also struggling to rescue people from the rubble. Maybe I don't have enough money to donate but I will pray to God that this rescue work will be completed soon and that the Almighty God will save all those who are still alive and that those who have died in this earthquake will be granted paradise.

This earthquake greatly affected everyone living in Turkey like us.  People's hearts break when they see people removed on Twitter and other social media platforms.  It's worse when you don't get anything.  Thank you for being sensitive to this event and for your prayers for us.  I hope we will bring better times hand in hand.

As a humanitarian volunteer and I am also involved in various charity activities that have taken place and more or less I understand how volunteers work hard to help the people there. I hope and pray that all the volunteers who have arrived there will be given health, so that they can carry out activities to help the people there, condolences for the tragedy that has befallen our brothers and sisters in Turkey, "Their current suffering is also part of the sorrow and suffering of all of us".

We as volunteers (LEC) will hold a prayer together with the children in the non-formal school that we manage and plan to hold a prayer this Sunday, hopefully the Turkish people can get through this disaster with patience and accelerate post-traumatic healing.

Guys, first of all I want to thank everyone who has helped and prayed. First of all, the address of the foundation we have shared is an address that all the country trust and which is of a foundation that is working hard with everything it has.

We are being very careful because we have had very bad experiences before in such incidents as the whole country. A few members I know from the Turkish community are living in the earthquake area unfortunately. There have been some members I have been able to reach. But still there are members who I haven't been able to. The friends I have been able to reach are saying that the situation is much worse than it seems on the media. We are facing the biggest disaster of the 100-year history of Republic of Turkey.

Against this disaster, all the support coming from all around the world are becoming some morale for every person who is a victim. Lastly some world-renowned footballers have started to collect donation for earthquake victims by putting up their signed jerseys for auction. https://twitter.com/Merihdemiral/status/1622999188320518144

The incident is really tragic. This is very sad to see.  But it's admirable that so many people are coming forward to donate to it. So far $623k has been donated through bsc wallet via BNB and different stablecoin/coins. who died due to this incident, I hope that god will grant them paradise. And may God grant speedy recovery to those who are injured.
I am not a very rich person.  But I am trying to donate some money.  I donated some money from my signature campaign payment today. Hope everyone will show interest in donating something according to their ability.

Thanks to everyone for their contributions and well wishes.

This double (edit: triple) earthquake might be the most devastating disaster in the history of Turkish republic, the failing government attempts to downplay all the figures for its own ulterior political motives. Several cities feel like ghost towns at night with a few journalists walking in darkness hearing the cries of help coming from under the rubble for kilometers with no help in sight, even after 48 hours, they confess the truth in abject horror even as they know it'll probably cost them their jobs...

https://twitter.com/Thelast05015969/status/1623102891228557313

some journalists are now being prevented from reporting the proportions of the calamity, just citing a few foreign sources so our friends can understand the gravity of the situation.

A geophysics professor puts the minimum estimate of people trapped under collapsed buildings to be 184,000; given there is no scientific survey yet about the total tally of collapsed buildings and missing people, even this is an extremely conservative estimate...

I made a small donation myself, sorry I can't give much  Sad .

This is a tragedy and I can totally relate. I live in Japan and here this can happen any minute, it's just a matter of time.

I have witnessed the 2011 Japan earthquake myself and that was one of the scariest moments of my life, and this was only in Tokyo, can't imagine being in Sendai area at that time.

All the friends I have in Turkey are alive and well, I am thankful for that.

Hopefully there will be all the help provided that's needed and the global community stands together in this sad moment.

Your keys, your responsibility
We still can't reach our acquaintances living in the area although there have been many hours passed.
It is also very likely that the electricity in the city was cut off to prevent further damage such as fire so that the communication network was somewhat hampered.

Anyway, my deepest condolences go out to all Turkish and Syrian citizens affected.
Sadly there are no (real) bitcoin addresses that can be donated.

Was there any reason it was deleted in the first place? This is humanitarian and I don't think it deserves to be deleted, provided OP isn't asking for help to better their own lot.
I am not too sure, but i believe it was a mistake, the thread was first posted in the Bitcoin discussion board which is the wrong board for this donation campaign, so i feel a moderator wanted to move it to the correct section and probably deleted it mistakenly, but even if i am wrong, good thing is that it is back again and i hope enough members see it and help those that have been affected.

I feel sorry for this tragic disaster that occurred in Turkey. Natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods and volcanoes are beyond human control. All they can do is provide assistance to the victims and the injured.

I live in Syria where we felt a violent earthquake in the early morning and the building shook and we felt terrified and all the residents went out into the street, but thank God there was no collapse or major damage, but some areas were greatly damaged by the earthquake, there was destruction of buildings and there were many dead And the injured, but not as big as the disaster in Turkey.

I wish everyone safety and recovery for the sick.

Guys, EFS explained the reason why we dont publish a btc address. If I were to publish a btc address for donations I would have to convert all donations into BUSD and transfer it to the addres in the opening post. I believe you can do the same transaction individually. It would be great to share screenshots of your donations to incentivize others. If anyone has other suggestions, please let me know.

I pray you strength and energy in such turbulent times as this, I saw videos and pictures of the happenings dang! Saw two kiddos traps down somewhere for seventeen fucking hours and finally got help. It gladdens me to see they finally got help on time. Glory to GOD for that.

In such times like this, be very cautious and take caution, verify carefully before dealing with sending funds to anyone one claiming to be a victim of the quake. Scammers are seize chances like this by balls to scam people, so you be safe out there.
I sympathize with the families of the dead and Injured, I bid em speedy recovery. My Allah Guide y'all. 🤲🏽🙏🏽

All institutions are moving to help what happened in Turkey, we saw very little of our brothers and sisters there, how they would experience severe trauma because indeed I have experienced how earthquake shaking occurred in my area, especially when this was on a large scale, even the duration of this shock was more than one minute .

There is nothing else I can only pray for for their recovery as well as concern for them because now the world is looking at Turkey which is the center of attention for aid at the moment.

I just read the local news today that the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria are 7800 people. This is a big number and the victims could even increase.

On the other hand Binance is holding a $100 (TRY 1883) airdrop for affected users and all will be identified by proof of address.

Turkey is crying because of the earthquake. It is not yet known how many people have died in Turkey. However, it is very important for all countries to step forward with Turkey. Because Turkey is in a lot of danger now, all countries need help to get out of this danger.  But if the government of Pakistan stands by Turkish side, it would be very good. If people of all countries could stand by Turkish side like Pakistan

I was very distressed to see some videos of the earthquake in Turkey that I saw on social media.  Because I saw that many people died in this earthquake, I couldn't hold back my tears. I can't hold back my tears when I think of this incident. Because I had a frend in Turkey after this incident, I can't find any news about him. I'm still going.  I don't know how he is now.  No trace of him alive or dead. Everyone please pray for my friend. And I want us to stand by these helpless people and stand together and help in whatever way we can.

Turkey has experienced the biggest earthquake this time with the help of Richter scale measured by experts it was a 7.8 magnitude earthquake.  Thousands of people have lost their lives so far and rescue workers are continuing to work and rescue the injured and keep them under basic treatment in hospitals.  Turkey has issued a state of emergency.  Due to widespread damage and displacement of people, children and the elderly have suffered the most.

In today's sad time if we extend our helping hand little by little then thousands of injured people and homeless elderly people and children will get relief.  Everyone should help here.  The situation in Syria is the most deplorable.  So everyone helps, we will also help.

Millions of people in my country have to live helpless lives due to floods every year. I have seen the suffering, misery, sickness and death of the people affected by the flood very closely. Many times I stood by the flood affected people of my country. But yesterday's deadly earthquake in Turkey has deeply saddened my heart. According to the news I am getting from the media in my country, the death toll will be above 15000.The earthquake in Turkey was one of the deadliest disasters I have ever seen. I call upon the people of the world to stand by Turkey with whatever capacity they have. Help them with money, food, clothes, medicine etc. Remember that a little help from you will be of great benefit to the people of Turkey.

Being witness of disaster caused by earth quake in my country, I can imagine how much difficult it is for our Turkish brothers and sisters to cope with this situation. My donation is on its way as Pakistani Government has deducted one day salary of government employees for Turkey relief operation. I hope my small contribution will help my brothers and sisters in Turkey.
May God help Turkey in this difficult situation.
