This case is an example of what you said. I struggled a lot because of a language I do not understand. In case#13 I might find more users connected if I would understand the language.

Nowadays merit abusers are got smarter, mostly they do abuse their merit in local boards section because they know that it's hard to spot to the DT members and moderators their illegal activity here in the forum.
Thanks to the OP for helping eliminate those abusers here in the forum they obviously farming merit as what I have viewed in OP's report.

Yes, we are missing an important point related to merit abuse. It is good that genuine members are giving their time to find out remembers abusing the merit system and then reporting it but what about:

1) The merits which got wasted in the whole process. Is there anything being done to compensate for those merit points ? I am sure that the admin must have thought about creating a system in accordance with the number of merits required to be in circulation. Did he consider these abuses cases while panning that ?

2) Why not have some restriction related to the maximum number of merits allowed per post ?

I don't have enough proof to conclude that they're alt accounts but I think this is very weirdo when this Sr. Member send so many Merit points to other account with lower rank in just a short time.

If they're not alts then it has been bought which is equally untrustworthy behaviour.

It is certainly a good idea but is it practical to implement ? I mean we already see the staff being busy handling those " Report to moderator" submissions and various other forum activities. Most of these are doing these voluntarily without getting any monetary compensation. It would be wrong to expect from them to work full time on this as they might be having jobs/businesses tp arrange their living expenses. Members do try to help sometimes by reporting cases but we need regular moderation.
