Controlled mass-media: Not even close to truth. The most of federal TV channels are private owned, except for 1st channel, 51% of which is owned by state. Despite ITAR-TASS news agency is 100% state-owned there are also some 100% private-owned new agencies such as Interfax. In the Ukraine almost all media outlets are owned directly by government officials. 100% of 5th channel is owned by Poroshenko, 100% of ATN and 1+1 TV channels are owned by Ihor Kolomoyski, etc.

Obsession with National Security: Half-Truth here. Ukrainian Security Service see russian spy or GRU agent in any person, even in your cat.

b) innocent regular Russian army soldiers sent to kill and die against their own will .

Russia obviously likes using "volunteers" because it allows them to do all the dirty work, such as using banned weapons, but without facing any consequences because it's all unofficial.

Just like I said, Russia wants to steal. And if Russia can't have the resources, no-one can.

First of all, Russia is not involved in the war, other than some volunteers.

  Second, they have no reason to kill pro-Russian citizens, unlike the Ukrainian regime.

The Ukraine regime benefits from the shelling of Luhansk and Donetsk. Not only does it terrorize the citizens there and keep them in a constant state of agony, but it also demoralizes the Rebel troops.

Also, there is no need for the population to be there once they install those Fracking installations

What makes more sense is that the invaders, Russia, wanted something to look like a false flag. Another possibility is that it was an accident. Fighter pilots probably couldn't see what type of plane it was, and a bunch of small-time think tanks/NWO conspiracy knobs are trying to use the mayhem to recruit suckers into their cults.

The whole MH17 thing was one of the most obvious false flags ever. Not only did it coincide with strangely coordinated numerology,  but there has been so much obvious evidence of a coverup that even the most hardened of conspiracy theory deniers would have to give pause.

Also, there has been a secret agreement that all of the investigating countries have signed Non-Disclosures, so whatever the outcome of the investigation... it will never be made known publicly.
