In Kharkov about 30 percent of policemen refused to storm the administration. Avakov has already announced that they will be fired.

A journalist of Russia’s Lifenews TV channel reported from the central square of Kharkov that according to evidence witnessed by the local citizens, some police officers dressed in uniforms of the Jaguar riot police task force seem unable to understand when addressed in either Ukrainian or Russian. They reportedly communicate with each other in English.

“We represent veterans of Afghan campaign, former border guards and other peaceful trades, and we have just a single legitimate demand: we want a referendum,” the statement says.

“This is expression of the will of the people – and we want to be heard,” the group stated and strongly recommended “not to mess with active duty officers.”

“If you go against us, welcome to hell. We’ll make a decent stand. Godspeed, officers!” the manifesto ended.

Ukrainian presidential candidate Sergey Tigipko, who arrived in Lugansk and conducted negotiations with the activists who barricaded themselves inside the SBU headquarters, confirmed that all activists are Ukrainian citizens.

Irina Farion, an MP of nationalist Fatherland Party, went as far as calling for the deaths of citizens in Donetsk, Kharkov and Lugansk.

“I’d act much tougher. I’d just shoot them dead. Look, the enemy is ruling our land. What are we talking about? They should be expelled from here back in 1654 (the year Ukraine aligned with the Russian Empire). That’s why today’s reaction is unacceptable. The measures should be much tougher. Our people laid down their lives. That’s why those creatures that arrive here deserve only death,” Farion proclaimed.

7. Their children will need to serve in Russian Army (there is a joke now, that parents of men serving in Ukrainian army need to supply food, or their children will be forced on a three-meal system - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays)

The salary of a Russian soldier is right now about 8 times that of an Ukrainian soldier. And the working conditions are much better too. Moreover, Russia is phasing out the draft, and the army will be entirely consisting of contracted soldiers by 2020. I think Mr. Sergej Leshenko was high on shrooms.

 Grin

This is a scare message from some Sergej Leshenko sayng that "Kremlin separatism" is impossible without support from local population, and thus Kiev government needs to explain the consequences of this region turning into another Transnistria (though he must be confusing something here Cheesy )

1. There'll be no offices of the major Western banks
2. No MacDonald's and other Western outlets
3. No visum-free travel to Europe and harder getting visas (as if Ukraine will ever be visum-free)
4. Ukraine will be importing coal from outside then buying from Donbass, so your coal will not be needed by anyone (what a load...)
5. Their football teams will not be playing in EU cups
6. Planes from the world to Donetsk and Harkov will need to go via Moscow (huh?)
7. Their children will need to serve in Russian Army (there is a joke now, that parents of men serving in Ukrainian army need to supply food, or their children will be forced on a three-meal system - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays)

APCs from Ukrainian armed forces have arrived in Lugansk from Dnepropetrovsk. Army ans special ops can receive orders of firing sharp rounds at the protesters

The protesters are not armed, and why they need the APCs? The situation can worsen in a very short time. If there is any loss of life, then it will all become irreversible.

The mostSome of them were unable to visit RF anyway, due to criminal past. More precisely, they are welcome to stay in a jail for a few years.

Timoshenko, Jarosh, Tyahnibok are involved in criminal cases.

Crimean authorities have published a list of 321 Ukrainian officials whose presence is unwelcome on the peninsula, the republic's State Council reported on its website on Thursday.

Has anyone from the Kiev government actually visited Crimea after its merger with Russia? I don't think that is going to happen for the next few months time.

SIMFEROPOL, March 27./ITAR-TASS/. Crimean authorities have published a list of 321 Ukrainian officials whose presence is unwelcome on the peninsula, the republic's State Council reported on its website on Thursday.
Among them are the parliament-appointed acting President Oleksandr Turchynov, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, National Security and Defense Council chief Andriy Parubiy and Security Service head Valentyn Nalyvaichenko. The leaders of the Udar and Svoboda Parties, Vitali Klitschko and Oleh Tyahnibok, are also on the list. Party of Regions leader Serhiy Tigipko is not welcome in Crimea. KIEV, April 08, /ITAR-TASS/. A rally in the city of Lvov, in western Ukraine, that demanded the resignation of the Kiev-appointed prosecutor has ended in a storm of the building of the local prosecutor’s office, local media reported on Tuesday.
“Several dozen activists broke into the building, law enforcers were unable to stop them,” the media reported. Activists tried to get an appointment at the office of the new prosecutor, Vladimir Gural, who was not in.
This is not the first protest action against the new prosecutor. Thus, civic activists foiled the ceremony of the presentation of the new prosecutor by the Kiev authorities. Activists accused the man of bribe-taking and office abuse.
