Dont let our greediness and dumbness takes over our financial life.

Well said.

1. Gambling is for entertainment purposes only and is not a way to generate an income.
2. Don't gamble with money that you can't afford to lose.
3. Read plenty of reviews about any site before you trust it with your money.
4. Greed is bad.

My friend recently get scammed by a gambling site which he found by continuously browsing. On internet. Sorry but even he cant remember the name so i cant tell you but here's what you wouldnt do. He said he was searching about how cryptocurrency gambling work. He is much aware about bitcoin but not about using it for gambling. He find some "yellow botton" he said which offers gambling for newbies and the rest is history. Goodbye $200 . yes thats kinda bit small but should you wait that it happened to you with a bigger amount? Here's what you would do.
1. Dont click and browse non recognized site to avoid phishing.
2.. Always ask first the people on this forum whether the site is legit or not.
3. Dont put too much money on that site so if ever its really a scam, the amount it can get is minimal.
4. If it looks really legit, try some few games with few bets at first.

Being cautious costs less than not being aware at all. Dont let our greediness and dumbness takes over our financial life. Be safe people.
Thank you for sharing your friend's story OP. It's really helpful to give awareness to newbie gamblers or either from the people that are already gambling for a long time. I would just like to add that before gambling into a certain site, check how long it runs and check if there are issues on it ie. Not able to withdraw funds, some accounts get locked for no reason, and etc.

if you are a gambler or maybe even a normal person with some money how could you just put your money on a random website without even knowing anything about it? there are people who have made a lot of money from opening scam sites and hypes there was 2015-2016 where scam sites where blooming on the internet, I have literally seen like 30-40 scam sites back then. just be aware and research before investing on any site.
It's true and since then my vigilance in using the internet has been increasing because negligence in entering a website will have a bad impact on us even though it's not always about money. Be a smart gambler at the start even though you don't have the skills to bet but at least you won't lose money at the start even before betting.

Something fishy going here why your friend choose to forget the name of the site, the site will scam more people if this kind of people will just let things be and do not report, we have a scam section and this is to warn about the reputation of any site, we must become responsible and help people by avoiding these scam sites.
That was also my query from beginning. The issue is important and just to keep the name of the sites the friend has just forgotten. Many people do this type of scamming activity because sometimes the see us unserious about what happens to us.
This is really an unlikely thing to happen for a certain person who got scammed do immediately forgot the scam site he was involved on? Its almost impossible to think off.
Unless he do have some complete amnesia after he realized he was scammed.lol

We have our own will and mindset on how things are going and letting yourself too dumb will really put you into trouble.

it's good indeed if the site can be discussed together here so as not to cause many subsequent victims to be deceived by related gambling sites. or maybe your friend is not a victim of a related site fraud, but he lost money in the amount of $ 200 due to losing gambling in it giving rise to deep and dishonest disappointment to reveal the truth

It can happen if you make an account on a totally new site and then at some point you realize that you are being scammed. You tend to close the site and move on, without caring that you have lost / got scam by that site. Although it is better that we share our experience here so that other people are saved from such scam sites.

Yes definitely the functionality and the connection between Gamblers is little bit difficult in all situation but it is not needed for the gambling field if we do everything which is the connection between everyone then it will definitely be the best way to make that field to be developed.

The quest for high bonus is what always trick people into gambling on a wrong website, I once stumbled on a gambling platform that offer 100% bonus on every deposits but when I went further to research about the site it turns out that before you withdrew from the sites you will have to go through KYC which in most times are never processed and approved.

Research is a must before anyone gambles on any unknown or new website. Their would be too much lucrative offered that would be shown or in starting would be even given but then in the end when you gamble over some time you would realize that you would lose majorly and then those are rigged on the sites where your winning is ensured that you end up losing

Those new gamblers are need to learn about gambling in this forum itself.
Else if there is any specialized forum for gambling you may use that and learn for your own skill learning.

Winning or loosing take gambling as enjoying nothing more than that.

That is impressive. Advertisement is a very great way to trick human mind and that is what happens with so many people in the market. They are attracted towards the kind of branded things which reflects luxury and this is the trick here. Influx of every new gambler in crypto is a profit for the company’s site you are gambling on so yeah, one should rather be a wise than a dumb gambler.

Actually not just in gambling site but when you put your bits into online platform also can be hack, right ?
We already aware that crypto is risky type of investment so when you decide to be the gambler, the risk become greater so you need extra careful on how you manage your next step !
Being careful is needed when you start placing your money from this field, there's  a lots of possibilities that can affect your stay, securing your money is the first thing to do as you can lose it quickly along the road, if you know how to value your money you will keep inside your system and not to act lazy
while you are dealing with this industry.
I agree. Once money is directly involved, we should learn not to be careless but very careful on the coins we have invested it or on the gambling sites we placed our money. If we really know how to value our hard earned money, then we must seek first the advice of professional gamblers if a certain site is legit or not. It's still good to play safe and secured than to lose your money all of a sudden because of being dumb.
Even if you are gambling for gun and are not looking for gains, you should be careful of the capital you are putting in the gambling. I have never seen a billionaire burning a dollar which means that these pennies and cents make the biggest treasure in the world. Gambling might be uncertain but once you have some good ways to getting things done, you are no longer a dumb gambler.
I think those who gamble for fun do not really have problem, the major problem is with those money hunters, those of us that play for fun understand how to play the game. You will never see anyone who gambles for fun play foolishly because it’s just a game of entertainment and we know that entertainment does not take so much capital.

I am a salary earner and I have a certain amount of money I spare monthly for entertainment, it’s from these money I set out a part to gamble, so would I ever get excessive capital to play around with in such game? I think we should always let people know how gambling should be done, which is play for entertainment.

Identifying difference between fake and original gambling websites have always been a tedious task because even most of the legit gambling sites look like a complete crap while some fake websites are so nicely created that give an impression of a huge casino. I think ensuring the longevity of the period for which the site has been active is the best indicator of its trustworthiness. Moreover Scams & accusation section of the forum is a place you can easily find out about any fake websites which already have duped money of investors. and yes not to forget never keep a lot of money on gambling websites even if you trust it the most. Immediately add or withdraw money from your wallets or exchanges.

This is one of the reasons I don't jump on random sites and I don't like gambling with sites that doesn't have any reputation online. If you search on Google for the top ten crypto gambling sites you will see a lot of them like Fortune Jack, 7 Bit Casino, Cloud Bet and Sportsbet.io and the rest of them that has been around for quite a long and has got a very good reputation for themselves.

When I was a newbie, everything I want to go for I always make a research on the top ten in the market. Even as a trader I always go for the top ten exchanges, so the same strategy goes for the gambling sites as well. No one should make the mistake of putting their money in an unknown cause they will end up being scammed.
If you knew how to do a good research even while you were a newbie, then I do not see any reason why old members of the forum should be falling victim of scam sites, I think some newbies are even becoming wiser players than some of our old members and the reason for this is always greed. Some players don’t even care if a site has reputation or not, they don’t give a damn if it is an unknown site, all they is the bonus offers, the promotions and other promises and this is not right at all.

So, they end up been scammed by   these sites and then everyone tags gambling as a bad thing, meanwhile there are still genuine sites all over.

Sorry your friend is the one who is dumb here. Why would he choose to throw money a site he knows nothing about?? Like who even does such a thing?? I am not that stupid. I don't just jump on a search page and looking for any site that I can use for gambling when I already know that the Internet is filled with scammers and there are lots of websites that are owned by them. These days the level of scammers in the Internet is high and the number of fake websites are now more than the legit ones. So I cannot make such a mistake.
Let’s try not to be too fast at judging other peoples mistakes. Yes he made a mistake and had admitted but calling names is uncalled for. We all make mistakes especially in gambling, What if the friend is new to the game. My close friend also made this kind of mistake despite all I have taught him on gambling, there was nothing I could do than to keep on encouraging him. So many shits happen in gambling industry.

Too many scam sites by the day, we just have to be very vigilant.
Play on famous sites only, read reviews from those who have played on the sites and the best places to get these reviews are on this forum and at first play, it’s better to play with very small amount of money.
Everyone likes Bonus offers and I am very sure you are not alone on these. Who wouldn’t want an increase bankroll? I have not really been paying attention to customer support as long as I am so sure that the site is trustworthy and I don’t always envisage to be in a tight corner where I would need urgent response from the site, I should start putting this into consideration.

Most of the crypto sites I know these days offer instant payment and withdrawal and they have really been making online gambling much easier and faster and you are all wise to consider a site that is mobile friendly. This is just me in you lol.

$200 is already big lose if it is me. lol. Thanks for this info its really for us and to newbies to know about the issues like this. It's hard to make money and you can only lose it just by simple clicking it. So when we want to gamble just put your money in big gambling site that are known and popular.
