My friend recently get scammed by a gambling site which he found by continuously browsing. On internet. Sorry but even he cant remember the name so i cant tell you but here's what you wouldnt do. He said he was searching about how cryptocurrency gambling work. He is much aware about bitcoin but not about using it for gambling. He find some "yellow botton" he said which offers gambling for newbies and the rest is history. Goodbye $200 . yes thats kinda bit small but should you wait that it happened to you with a bigger amount? Here's what you would do.
1. Dont click and browse non recognized site to avoid phishing.
2.. Always ask first the people on this forum whether the site is legit or not.
3. Dont put too much money on that site so if ever its really a scam, the amount it can get is minimal.
4. If it looks really legit, try some few games with few bets at first.
Being cautious costs less than not being aware at all. Dont let our greediness and dumbness takes over our financial life. Be safe people.
I would like to add one more point here which I think is the most important and many newbies get victim of it.
5. Do not get attracted / tempted to Deposits bonus / Referral bonus on the newly created gambling / betting sites.
Thank you for the additional point, I wouldn’t even go near an new site in the first place let alone, depositing my bonus, I have noticed that so many new gambling sites are scam, recently I fell for one and it was really painful, it looked really legit.
My advice, is if a site is not very familiar please run as far as you can from such site, because you have nowhere to make your complains when scammed. But for those sites that are famous especially more on the forum, you can easily read the reviews of fellow mates and know what people are saying about them.
Been scammed on a gambling site can be a very hurting experience, its better to play a game, have fun and lose than to watch the money just disappear into air without proper accountability.
No matter what you pen down here about new sites, there would still be people who would still go ahead to play and after they lose they will be looking for shoulder to cry on. I remember always sharing stories of my mistake with my good friend and he has made the same mistake last week by playing on a scam site.
At first he couldn’t summon the courage to tell me, but I noticed his attitude towards gambling of recent and that was when my guy admitted that he’s been scammed on a new gambling site.
With the number of familiar gambling sites I see on the forum daily, I wonder what anyone would be looking for in a new site that is unfamiliar.
