In most cases, it may not be like that. I would like to say that it depends on the type of project one is participating in. It is always good to have high expectation on the bounty project that one is partaking of. Even if the project later turns out to be what is not expected, it should not make one's hope to be dashed because crypto business is all about taking risk. Some projects might not even have reward in million dollars and still turn out to be trash, while we could have some that are in million dollars and turn out to be greatly rewarding. It all depends on the value of the product from the project and the integrity of team handling such projects.

Don't get your hopes too high when promoting bounty projects especially bounties with very high allocations like in millions of $$$ ,they are never the same again unlike in the past ,all you have to do now is just depend on yourself and promote good projects and wait for end results.
At this time in crypto space where bounties are not as profitable as they use to be, bounty hunters need to be very careful when choosing a bounty campaigns. High allocation bounties are just a mere scheme of attracting large number of participants which it reward might not be profitable relative to bounties is low reward with few members.

Currently, bounties that have a pool level of over $ 500k are not excited about them. Because if the IEO will never have such a large pool level, the ICO team wants to issue as many tokens as possible so the larger the pool the lower the true value of the project

How can we depend on our selves promoting the project if we are not expecting much on the project?
What we should promote is the project that we believe on. those hunters who dont believe on the project and just promote them are the dumpers.
If you are good and you know what to do before joining the project and promoting them than you are in good hands.
We all know that we are not anymore in 2017 and we should avoind the dump now. as long as the project is paying as promise and have their success we should just wait for it.

that's the way it is, maybe even I can say that when a project promises too high expectations.
because if it's too high they usually just lie.

It has been a awhile since we had bounties with high pools and that are genuine. Even in those days, they were paying bounty hunters fast and singlehandedly. These days when i see bounty campaigns with very high pool, it makes me want to research more to see if the project is legit and that the bounty manager can be trusted.

I don't know if this one's true but before, they told me that there are lower risks of getting scammed here in bounty projects and most of them actually pay good thing. Unlike now, there are times that I have to move to another project after discovering something fishy.

Hoping in crypto currency is not a norm
The norm is dyor and get the right steps done

After which you can expect your profit, if trade goes wrong, learn from it and improve your skills

The large amount of money for the bonus program means that the project will have a dumping wall by bounty hunters, they don't care about the price and the effort of the team, they just need money. This made them worse

Bounty hunters only get a small percentage of total coins.  If it dumps that is mostly on the hands of investors and not bounty hunters.  I do think that most hunters on this forum could care less about bitcoin though and they convert everything they get instantly to cash.

In my opinion, we really don't expect too much on a bounty project. even projects that are allocated millions of dollars do not necessarily have good price prospects when exchanged on the market. therefore all results depend on each of us in taking a stand.

I agree, ICO nowadays are not as successful in the past and the success of the bounty solely depends on the success of the ICO, so that high reward is very small in value if the coin is not traded in an exchange based on its ICO price.

A bounty with very high allocation will lose any potential investor, because investors will not want bounty hunters who have huge tokens, to come and dump on them. Exchanges are also conscious of how many tokens are allocated to bounty hunters. If they are too much, such project might nit be accepted for listing. Therefore, any bounty with very large allocation might be seen as a potential scam project.

I agree because in my opinion it was all depends on the ico and platform. Also, there are lots of unpredictable things like high and low of the market. Just be patient on joining bounties until you earned what you deserves. Getting your hopes too big just give you a lot of regret and sad feelings.

yes you are correct.  I really don't put too much hopes when doing a bounty campaign because I know I might expect the unexpected. Getting bounties that will pay you very well is very little Chance. So I don't expect too much from any bounty

Back when I think that the target value of the token for that bounty was literally the same as their given price, Well it is all just estimation for the given value I think for people to encourage to join, And because my first bounty campaign was really great and had a promising outcome when they had over their payout and you can surely see that their token really had some value, I was pretty hooked up to bounty back then, But right now everything has changed and you will need to wait for the value to surely rise and increase or all you have is token with no value and just a design to your wallet.

I'm not that type of person, unrealistic hopes are just like we are dreaming at daylight.
Perfectly who've said that the market today looks different and we can't expect that we can find a decent bounties/project just like before. And even that IEO still can't give assurance that they could give what investors are hoping for. Only we need to understand and have it work with the influence of market players and not just be whales trap.

Huge allocation on bountry, especially if its eth based token is such a turnoff for me, I always have the thought that it’s a fraud or they have no great analyzation of what would be the value of their token. Real team of developers and quality of products is always my based in finding the good one, but still we can’t tell. Risks always involved.

That's true, but not all of the bounty hunter have the same thoughts as you. For me the big allocation is not a good reference, you should research information about the project, team, roadmap and etc before participate in the bounty campaign.

A million dollar allocation for just a buzzwords that created by the developers, the fact i m doing so many research and if there was a trusted project and i just try to follow it without care about how much allocated to the bounty. so far i never regret what i have been doing till this time.
