I am already used such disappointment especially when the projects token price is big during sales. In most cases there is always a huge dump and the allocation will be slashed hugely leaving bounty hunters with little or nothing.

I agree with you if we should not expect too much, because I have found many facts about bounties that allocate $$$$ million
1. many of them cut allocations when the campaign ended> for unreasonable reasons
2. they don't even have a very good price on the market
3. not paying bounty participants

To be honest, sometimes it's a pity the time spent on promoting the project.  You will find a promising and useful project and you think what a great idea the founders have, but in the end it happens more often that the project does not reach serious development and dies.  But it is good that the technology itself is developing and we will still see really good projects that will be useful to the community.

Don't get your hopes too high when promoting bounty projects especially bounties with very high allocations like in millions of $$$ ,they are never the same again unlike in the past ,all you have to do now is just depend on yourself and promote good projects and wait for end results.

Yes, those that promise millions of dollars can be quite misleading. This is based on a) the ICO hitting hardcap, and b) the coin maintaining its ICO price once it hits exchanges. In practice 'a' happens quite rarely, and 'b' hardly ever.
It doesn't mean it's not a good project, but just that the rewards in dollar terms are generally quite low these days. You will tend to get a smaller share of coins because it doesn't hit hardcap, and thenn the price usually tanks on exchanges.
Bounties are better if you go only for good projects, and think about them as long term bets.

You just hit it. Bounty is quite very disappointing these days. Even the ones you consider good project with integrity end up disappointing. The best bet is yo keep your mind open when promoting any project and be ready to accept whatever comes out of it, be it good or bad.

If we know for sure that the project is good, we have become very rich. Keep on learning and the effort may one day smile with our efforts. Bounty is like investment, research and patience is needed.

that's right, the current project is very different from 2 years ago. where ever received a high enough payment, nowadays even many projects are often fraudulent. do not
hoping too high is true. but in participating in a program we certainly hope. whatever the result.

Come on friend, as a bounty hunter we have to understand every risk that we have to accept, such as allocations cut, rules that suddenly change, distribution delayed, etc. We only need to try our best to do the rules to get maximum rewards, after that you pray and hope for the best by not forgetting these risk factors.

For attracting the bounty hunters, campaign managers put the USD worth amount on the title of the thread. HYPE is bad in crypto, it is not going to give the bounty hunter what he is looking for. There is no rich life in the crypto world, there is hard, smart work but some people prefer to believe in the lies. Having a big expectation will lead to depression if the outcome gonna be different.
They are estimated figures, and mostly incorrect in real situation, when tokens traded on exchanges. Not only bounty hunters, but also investors should not use such mostly incorrect estimations for their investments. I meant they might decide to step in those projects when price drops lower than estimated prices. It will give them more safely investments, but even this it won't guarentee that they won't get loss.

Have we dream it? Or not? getting much too high and probably out of reality, but of we gonna work on it, it absolutely be near possible.
Well, its time to stop dreaming if we don't do anything but just only thinking high. Nothing will happen to us until we make thing right and do action.

The promises of high profit of one's project attract most of the bounty hunter, this is what they're doing to draw more attention.

If you put too much expectation, you may not be satisfied with the outcome, however, you may still gain a good earnings.

Definitely mate. There are a lot of false hope bounty projects on this forum. They just take advantage of bounty hunters by allocating huge amount of rewards just to earn from their services. Some of these projects don't even list their coin for bounty hunters to trade their coin earned for the services they provided.

It Is smarter to disregard the publicity and high assignments and work on inquiring about profound into the task cautiously before advancing on high rated bounty and seeking after better outcomes, on the off chance that it turns out well great yet on the off chance that it finishes in the incorrect manner, you change your exploration designs and think about another undertaking.
Bounty are unusual, and high expectations can be irritating

One thing I have come to experience in the crypto world is that I should never get my hopes too high. Getting your hopes too high can make you regret joining crypto in the first place. Be smart in your research, participate in few projects at a time and dont be greedy with huge allocation of several projects, you may end up getting nothing out of them all, Concentrate on the few you can have time for and do it well, who knows, if it ends up well you gain.

In as much as one criteria we look  before joining a bounty campaign is the reward pool but then we as hunters should check thoroughly before joining a project not just the reward pool. Also we shouldn't get our hopes so high on any project we are participating anything can happen at the end.

I often participated in the campaigns of the ICO bounty, which offered high awards and it was with the payments of these campaigns that most often there were various problems. Sometimes after the ICO they reduced the pool several times, sometimes after lCO they announced holding KYC and delayed holding it so long that the payment was delayed for years. However, sometimes it still works and everyone is happy. It is difficult to advise anything here.

:') never read a topic that more reasonable.
I promoted a scam project in the past, with the hope it would pay me what I deserve, till I know it's scam, lots of people have lost their money and I fell really sorry, don't know what to say but it's really part of my responsibleness...
My biggest lesson since doing the bounties thing.

Bounty hunters are often lured by the size of bounty pool. In that process, they even forget to review and look at its whitepaper, team and website. They are just concerned with size of bounty pool. It is recommended to look at the worth of a bounty project.
