Personal information as well as personal ownership is especially important for everyone, especially investors. need to know the current amount and current information is absolutely confidential or not. If not, you can invest elsewhere.

They have offices in many countries now, almost all countries where they are accepting local fiat deposit and withdrawals because for offering this they must have bank accounts and banking services and for all these services they need office for handling and support.

That's the question one has to ask prior to opening account his account at exchange. Like if they are not disclosing there location, its my own decision to open my account with that exchange or not.

I don't see any odd in that provided they have mentioned in there initial agreement that they will not disclose location.

binance is the biggest exchange in the crypto room, I really like the Binance exchange because some reasons include easy features and guaranteed security. I often trade there. on the one hand, things that make me even more trust with them that the company is responsible if something bad happens to them, like the case at that time hacking. My funds can be returned in full from the binance.

Did you look around their website since sometimes the address of their headquarters are located in about, support just look at their website you'll find it there. How come that putting the company's address isn't allowed in their company policy? In my country the exchange coins.ph has their address posted and it can be accessed by anyone...
Binance has no information on their address or headquarters on their website. It may be because they are keeping the security because they can be the target of big time criminals.
We do not know the true purpose but we see that the binance is transparent in some detail, so if we do not have the confidence we can withdraw our crypto on their platform.
Binance is a very good Trading Exchange, but users can not always evaluate and find out all the features of the administration of this resource.  More recently, there was news in the media about where the binance administration itself announced that without any problems they can even access the funds and account of their users, as well as block them for any law enforcement requirements or for other reasons  .  Thus, questions arise about how it can be a question of a decentralized exchanger.

I don't think they will leak that information for you. I don't know of they will give it even to their investors unless you have connections. I think some part of it was for security reason and some part of it is to protect their privacy. I guess you just need to inquire to someone who was really connected to them.

I don't really see why you should be worried about that. They have proven themselves to be a reliable exchange countless times, and if at this stage you still don't feel safe by making use of their services then it would be best for you to switch to using another exchange. There are other good exchanges like Coinbase that are fully regulated and it's located in San Francisco, CA, they hide nothing about themselves.

So, if you're worried about such things then you should go for regulated exchanges and Coinbase is also safe and 98% of customer funds are kept in cold storage.

I contacted the support three times and on all occasions i got the same answer. My question is simple. I am not asking for exact location i just want to know the country and the city. According to them i dont even have the right to know who is handling with my money.
There is no doubt that you have the right to know the location of a company where you are depositing your assets and they are not even able to have a concrete answer on that but they will be more than happy to collect all the user information in the form of KYC and that is the case with majority of the exchanges in this market.

I think a support employee does not have the right to disclose the location of the office, he simply adheres to the rules of the internal policy of the exchange. By registering on the exchange you accept their rules.

Yes, they don't have and why would OP have to ask a question like that since Binance is reputable enough to give your trust to them to hold your cryptocurrency. But if OP wants to know the head office of Binance then i think OP deserve to know that but there are rumors already on where are their office, i think that's enough.

Today i contacted Binance via their Support and a customer service agent joined the chat. I just wanted to know where Binance headquarter is? And then you can just have a look at the chat.

Well you have accepted their terms as soon as you joined their website and if you do not like their service or the fact that they remain hidden then you can get your money out of the exchange, in fact I will do that immediately since you never know what it is in those terms and conditions that you need to accept and this event could cause them to freeze your account, maybe you could use coinbase or another exchange if you are not happy with their service.

I'm not surprised from the response. They are already suffering a lot just for being a large exchange from different authorities. Most of the authorities around the world would be wanting to ask a tax from binance for any reason for their connection to the country. A reminder, don't keep your coins on exchanges as much as possible.

Binance will really keep this kind of personal information as a hidden information that only few users has an access to see this kind of information. It is the reason why binance is considered as the biggest cryptocurrency exchange because they will protect every information that is need to be hidden.

The main message of blockchain Crypto currency has been decentralization and privacy

Which means we all can buy and sell from one another without knowing who anyone is

Don’t you think it’s best to keep it at knowing the ceos and too guns ?

I think due to the latest news raid by police on Binance office; the support team is not willing to giving information about the Headoffice and other data. Still, every investor should know about their companies profile where he invested their investment, as you know after someday we hear news about exchanges funds or exchange hacked, for this reason, investor satisfaction every exchange should declare their Head office and other information in the annual report.

I don't think they want the location to be known because of security concerns. When it comes to the security of our funds, I think it is better for us to store our coins or tokens in the wallet that we hold our private key and the exchanger only functions as a place to trade, buy or sell.

As far as I know their "headquarters" are in Malta, it is an island like nation around Italy that does many online gambling licenses and were one of the first nations to legalize and tax bitcoin related business' so they found a good haven there.

However, don't think of a Malta headquarters like a real headquarters as in wall street finance companies have in wall street, a Malta headquarters usually means there is people working there but the main team of CEO, CFO, COO and the likes are somewhere else.

Considering this is a Chinese company but has troubles in china, I suppose Hong Kong could be the closes we can find or Japan (which they used to have headquarters in as well). I feel like CZ rarely goes to Malta and probably has his own little shop that is connected to Headquarters where most of the big deals go on.

As for me, it doesn't really matter who controls my money on the exchanges. as long as I know they have the criteria of trusted exchange it wouldn't matter to me if I know them or not. The most important thing here is, they know how to handle your money. from the start, you already know what kind of exchange they are. At the end of the day, we are all supporting this thing called DSecentralized that's why we don't have a right to nag them who they are and where they are.

Regardless of the fact they don't wish to share the specific location of their company headquarters, possibly due to security reasons the exchange does have a decent reputation of being a safe and secure platform to trade on but you still do so at your own risk, and alternatively they do have a DEX which you can use should you wish to manage your own funds when you are trading or investing
