Good afternoon. Promo-SMSs are an integral part of the marketing campaign of any large trading network today, but does your platform have a "B" plan in case this trend changes? Are there any other options for monetizing messages?
As for me, I don’t think it makes any point to have the backup plans. All the companies need to send SMS today, and they all want to minimize their cost. This platform has an excellent potential, and I don’t see even the slightest preconditions for the deterioration of the situation.
But after all, some companies already arrange send-out  via popular instant messengers, and also allocate significant means to the development of communities in social networks. It seems to me that they will soon supplant sending out SMS.

You’re mistaken, and very much mistaken. Look: there’re significantly less of social network users than people who have mobile phones. Moreover, you didn’t take into account that not everyone can afford smartphones, and older make little sense in them, so they need only two options - SMS and calls.
Look, compare the following. The campaign on Instagram will allow you to reach only the audience of up to 30 years old, which usually have lack of solvency (in most cases). At the same time, all ages and social groups are open to SMS.

Thank you for your answers, I didn’t expect my comment to cause such a resonance. Okay, I'll go try to master the app, as well as check the rates - it may be profitable to switch to the plan with a lot of SMS. Good luck with the ICO!

Hello. Why is the bonus now so big? Is this Pre-ICO?

No, ICO just started recently and developers want to reward those who believed in them from the very beginning.

Very good explanation. Thank you Smiley

I got it. Thank you. So can I mine tokens of this platform by buying packets of messages from my operator for a currency, and providing them for sending to the app? Don’t I even need to buy tokens during the sale in order to do this?

Basically, yes, but it is not "Mining" as mining. You will be rewarded with tokens for selling SMS. You will not "mine" new tokens because a number of tokens is defined.

And if you are looking for the best price for the token you will not get better one than today:

1) For 1 ETH you get 42000 BIRD tokens
2) Plus you get Wave bonus. At the moment it is 50 percent. So, in total you get 63000 tokens.
3) if we will not reach hard cap, but reach soft cap, remaining tokens will be distributed proportionally to all contributors. The more you contribute, the more you will get.

Good afternoon. I realized that my unused messages will be used to send out mailings. Does it turn out that all people that will receive messages will see my number?
No, you’ve probably got SMSs with transactions or promos. All of them are sent from hidden numbers, users only see the name of the company that sent them a message.
It happens like that most often, but not always. For example, my banking always sends me SMS from the same number, I can even call it back to get help. In addition, I’m annoyed by the fact that the messages come in the dead of night or contain outdated information.
These problems is what the platform plans to fight with. There will always be thousands of active subscribers in the database providing their messages for send out. As a result, double benefit - the corporation receives cheap SMS, and you get tokens for messages that were not used at all.

Very good observation.

Speed of SMS sent through the aggregators is very limited by operators (sometimes up to 10 SMS/second).
Speed of SMS sent via phone of person are instant (the P2P SMS are prioritized) and delivered through better routes.

Thus Birdchain will solve this problem - our customers will get better quality of SMS delivery than ever before.

How can I be sure that texts send from my cell phone via your IM app will not look like spamming?

What do you mean?

Companies will be obliged to clearly state thay they are the ones which is sending the message. We will send SMS from various phones and mix them all the time, so that your number will not be the "spamming" number. We also will implement Spam and Scam filters so that you would not send such messages. Actually we use such filter right now for our current business: vertexsms.com.

Did I answer your question?

Sorry, but recipients will be able to see senders numbers. It is impossible to hide it when sending SMS from private number. BUT there are good news as well:

1) We will block incoming SMS and calls from recipients number to senders phone for 72 hours.
2) Birdchain will not send SMS to your contact list. We will use someone else's phone to reach your friends and family.
3) Companies will be obliged to clearly state who is sending the message.
4) We will send SMS from various phones and mix them all the time, so that receivers would not want to call.
4) There will be very little cases of such events, because How often do you want to call a number which sent you Google password authentication?

I have already seen hundreds of ICOs, and many of them ended in almost nothing, they couldn’t succeed. What makes you so confident in the success of your own project?

There are quite a few reasons for it:
1) we are operating the field of A2P SMS for almost 10 years
2) we already have SMS delivery technologies and solutions
3) app adaption will be quick as the app will provide monthly income
4) we have knowledge and know-how on the market players
5) we have good and smart people on board
6) our KYC was approved by governmental institutions
7) we are solving real-world problems
Cool Birdchain is backed by real company
9) We are incorporated already
...
Many more Smiley
