Hey Barntech,

If you want to provide us the other forum and use it, gotta clean it up a bit.
i cant see a fuckn thing the whole first page is spam!

might have to resort in those silly screen captcha things where you type in the numbers/word in the picture.
Damn, whats with the spambots, why the attraction to our forums ?
Spambots attack most forums and wordpress sites etc. basically any site where you can register and post content other people can read. captcha is essential.

Took a month away from bitcoins to manage my fantasy footbal teams  Roll Eyes any one know of a good place to exchange cash for btc ? I wanna get in on at least 1 board

I'm using coinbase. It seems decent though first transfer took 7 days but it should be faster when I fully verified(it seems to says instant transfers with credit card verification and 30 days use).

Here's my referral link if you decide to try it.

If you want to pay in cash cashintocoins.com seems to be a good way make a request you make a cash deposit and in about an hour or so after the deposit you get the btc sent to your wallet.

I'm definitely in on wanting Heatsinks for the 8 chip boards. No need to put those on the customs declaration though.  Grin
Speaking of which, including a legitimate receipt on the outside of the package means it often goes right through customs (and we just get a bill).
If you ONLY have a description with price (not a real invoice) there is a good chance we get a letter from Customs and have to open it and explain before we can take it home (depending on your country).
The receipt included on the package should probably match one of our receipts.

Some countries require a proof of purchase, invoice / bill, with the description, quantity and price per unit as well as shipping price.

Either my Search kungfu is not strong enough or it hasn't been mentioned.  Grin

What is the power consumption of the USB Thumb devices?  is it .5A like similar products?

Cheers,

anyway for those who want to know real life performance from a knc saturn :
with a 80 plus gold psu 250 volt, using at the wall 260 Gh average using 315.7 watt measured with eu version kill a watt
That makes  it 1.2142 watt / Gh

Thanks for this. It means they also blew the 1W/Gh target.

Its a great way to get some coins to expand towards mining boards
In time you have to switch them to alternate coins so they are not getting useless
But at certain time they simply will no longer give profit, in 2014 i expect some real big investors to enter the mining scene and thats gonna make it hard to keep up, even with miners from this generation
I expect faster and more important less power needing device will enter the arena pretty quick

Hoping the mini plane is good for 12V as well as 5V.   Wink

I wanna see the connector first. I got the backplane so it shouldn't effect me too much, but I really don't want to see screw connectors.

me and a friend are interested to buy the usb we will tell you, but now as the bitcoin price has rised we will wait until it drops or until the usb costs less xD

That's still a good price for a first try into bitcoins[though the goal is still under 100 and haven't heard otherwise]. I paid probably more for eroupters to match that speed. Buy it and then start saving up for a blade system.

If ones ready before the other do we get an email to separate. I want something new to watch blink regardless if its the big board I primarily want to see in action , so I can pull these darn eroupters and make some space for more of your equipment.

Yes. As soon as stuff is ready we will ship it out. If this results in needing to send things as two packages we will do it and bare the additional postage expense. We want to get these things to you as fast as we possibly can.

On other news, we have changed the heatsink on the thumb to a better one. These are going to cost us a bit more, but its worth it for the added heat dissipation. These should ensure that running the thumbs at 2.7GH/s will be sustainable and potentially work without fans (though i'd still recommend fans). Now these are costing us about $5 each but we're not going to charge any extra. If you feel excited and oozing with warm fuzzy feelings, by all means chuck us some donations at 1AF1WmU9Ut2CMuMJWgeBiXb2LMCd6x1GYA, but no obligation there. Will very shortly be publishing our recommended heatsink for the 8 board. This one will cost more and fall outside of our loving philanthropy thresh-hold, so additional payment will be required for those, but if you're keen, we will buy a bunch and ship them with the units.  Cool

Try to send out the required value before bitcoin prices drop  Wink. At least then it will cost less in spirit. I just hope heatsinks on the 8 chip don't require too many changes on the planes to fit the new heatsinks.

I certainly would like to participate into getting heatsinks and silent fans with the boards if that costs me a little extra so be it.
In coming weeks i am trying to add some extra cash so i can get extra boards
The fans which are used by knc to cool the miners are extremely silent and produce a big cfm as i have noticed
The knc case is a nice wind tunnel Cheesy

I'm a little unsure I have the price and shipping calculated correctly.  If I place my order first, can you send me a total to pay in BTC?

Thanks,
