i do have my opinions
when btc is going down i usually doing exchange/trade it to eth for time, and when price btc going up, re-trade convert again from eth->btc

This has been a hard hit for Bitcoin it would seem. We have lost quite a bit of our market cap. But don’t worry about that. We are still like double the second cryptocurrency. (Ethereum)

The only reason for the dropping value currently is because JP Morgan and China create FUD only to buy in cheap to make a profit. 
When the price dumped the best time to buy more btc. I guess there is a panic selling happen that's why bitcoin price is currently downtrend. If I have more funds I'd like to buy at this time and hold for a long term. I just hope it will recover.

It's a repeated scene in bitcoin environment since the beginning of its development, people invest in bitcoin and hope for profits in the future, so whenever bitcoin price reach another ATH, correction will happen, in this case, bad news about China shut down exchanges create massive panic sell or just some people who want to extract the profits. I won't say it's bad at all, because cheaper price mean a good time to buy bitcoin for everyone, including new adopters. If you're worried about it, just sell yours and buy back at the dip.
Don't start the panic selling mode this drop is not for long surely after few more days bitcoin will recover and may probably give a good pump so better hold your bitcoin for a while and wait for the pump or else you will regret it
A lot of new users do this mistake that they sell their bitcoin when they see the p[rice of the bitcoin getting down but only the wise one knows it is good to wait till the price of the bitcoin will go up again and it will make them earn more profit because the price of the bitcoin always keep on pumping and dumping so wait if you see the price doping down and do not sell your bitcoin at all.

I think it's a response to the rumors that China will close down exchanges. That in top of the ban on ICOs definitely scared weak hands. I couldn't careless about what Jaime Can't-even-remember-rest-of-his-name has to say. He spews shit about bitcoin on a fairly regular basis.
Jamie and JP are actually looking for the best price to buy and they are gladly using their position to influence the prices. It is obvious some people in high places are really finding ways to get into the system at all cost and at low price. I won't blame them. There had to be a shortcut since they didn't do their assignment early right?

Well bitcoin's now surging back after those two destabiizing news though. Goes to show that btc indeed has a solid following and not just scaredy cats ready to budge with just a little pressure. And this would just prove that btc will endure for a long time despite the challenges it will face
