what's happening in the bitcoin?? Why continue his descent? should we Convert bitcoin in php?? Im worried for this, my bitcoin is still down,

Bitcoin has always been volatile. The price has had huge gains this year so a correction is not only not surprising but it is to be expected. The price can't just rise forever without some pull back especially if the increases happen over such a short period of time.

I've said many times that these prices are too high for me to buy. I wouldn't even consider buying now unless the price drops below $3000 and even then it seems high. I've bought most of what I have below $1000 and some as low as $200 so these prices seem a bit crazy. I'm glad for the higher prices, I just won't buy at these prices.

If you convert your bitcoin now, you will lost your money and then you will regret it when the price go up, just hold on to your coin and dont be panic, wait for a few weeks then the price will go up again, and this situation is normal and there are so many times that bitcoin experienced this situation and in the end bitcoin still the strongest crypto currency

Unless you have made the decision to buy bitcoins at a high price, you must stay calm about the current bitcoin volatility. We must be aware that a strong downward adjustment is possible but still this has been a great year for bitcoin holders. It should be remembered that this year the price started around $1000 usd per bitcoin, so even in the case that the price fell as much as 60 or 70% of its current value to return just above the $1,000 again, we would be closing a year with some profits.

Of course I do not expect or desire such a big fall, but it would always mean a great opportunity to get more bitcoins, because I still think we should not discard a bitcoin price around $10,000 in a few years, despite the uncertainty that the powerful enemies of bitcoin are often used to spread.

I think it is because of the banning of bitcoin in china, which is the one of a big supply of bitcoin. For me I will hold the bitcoin cause it is normal, the price this time is high compare it to the past years. Because of the high price we think that we lose profit, but if we think deeply that price is high. Maybe on those people who buy bitcoin need to panic because of losing some capital.

It does not matter if the price is dropping, Just try to wait and read all the good news, Decreasing of the coins value is one of the risk of every traders. I also notice that eth coin value today is decreasing. The current value is just for the mean time, It will still increase eventually.

I agree that there are too many panic sellers in the market right now, but just like someone in this thread said before, they are gonna be the losers once that bitcoin goes up again. Remember that everytime that there was a big dump, there was a very very big pump after that, and you can check the charts for yourself.
It is difficult to accept that you are probably losing money when bitcoin drops, but that is normal, and this is how bitcoin works, and you have to accept it.

Are you panicking? LOL, you can't even consider it a drop. Bitcoin started from less than a dollar to $500, $1000, $2000, and the price now. How can you consider and panic if it drops to a few dollar. It has happened before bitcoin dropped and increased. I wonder why people panic when bitcoin is dropping.
I agree. It's not even a bitcoin crash until we see a 50% drop. My gut feeling is a downtrend through the rest of the year to about $2000. But whatever.

Nothing to be panic about bitcoin's price crashing, we'll have to wait since then because after that circumstances happening everything will turns out normally. If we take it emotionally panic couldn't be controlled when seriously focused, just let it go and I am confident that this current situations right now will be surpassed. Converting your bitcoins to local fiat cash isn't the right thing to do, and for my analysis those speculator now is trying to spread rumors because they wanted bitcoin price to lowered down. So these people will invest then reverse the psychology after all and regain another rumors into positive thoughts in order that price will pump again. Now whose the gaining or losing here? I believed that those who dump just by reasons of panic or affected with negative speculator, they are the losers here.

I think this is only temporary. do not panic sell, that is my advice. bitcoin still has the potential to skyrocket again.

Yeah, this will only be temporary. Bitcoin has been successful for years. All I know is that it has it price cycles, sometimes it would go high, sometimes low. The market price of the bitcoin is decreasing as a result for bitcoin being banned in China but we should not panic. This happens every time, do not let your emotions get you and control you to avoid making unnecessary decisions that will only make you suffer more.

In this year 2017 JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon called bitcoin as fraud and China bans ICOs and other Crypto exchanger, bitcoin price drop from 4900 to 2900 USD. In 2014 Warren Bufett called bitcoin as mirage and the downfall of silkroad and mtgox exchange bitcoin price drop from 1500 to 800 USd. As we track the history of bitcoin price chart, cycles do exist but still it always recover and continue to soar high. if you think that bitcoin is going down, there's no need to worry, we just have to get used to it, be optimistic all the time.

It ia all because of China prohibiting bitcoin.  Many chinese of course sell their bitcoins.  I just have read here also that because the ceo of jp morgan announced that bitcoin is a fraud.  So maybe those were the reason.  All I can say is to just hold your bitcoin.  But if you want then you convert it.  I do not want to sell my bitcoins because I still believe that its price will goes up again.

this isn't new. bitcoin was popular since backthen because of it's volatility. it's a decentralized currency that's why bitcoin price going up and down. if you're afraid on losing money because of the continues decrease of bitcoin sell it out and wait till bitcoin pump its price again and you will regret that moment.

I can't believe people are making threads about this.

As long as bitcoins has excisted, prices have gone up and down. It's in the nature of bitcoin. If supply is larger then demand, then the price will drop until demand is larger then supply, when the price will rise again.

You shouldn't convert you bitcoin. Just hold on, and wait until the price will rise again (which will happen).

But people ike to have fundamentals in their analysis in order to judge what's going on with the price, and the fundamentals right now are the same as they were in $4900. The only thing that has changed in my book, is that this JP Morgan jackass said that Bitcoin is a fraud. Im not sure if this is what caused the dip or not, but judging by how many idiots are involved into Bitcoin and how easy they panic sell, I wouldn't be surprised that a single bankster has crashed the market.

This JP Morgan jackass is quite a smart guy, probably he just wanted to buy some bitcoins and wanted to get a better price  Wink

I have a feeling that panic selling will follow. I don't agree with such approach but it seems like many bitcoiners are prone to such behaviour and on the first sign of price dropp they start to sell their coins. This can have just the opposite effect. But many others see the price dumps as the opportunity to get more bitcoins. After rain, there will always come the sun.

Welcome to bitcoin! For the new among us, this is what a free market looks like and we may see a 50% reduction in valuation before it's over. There are no controls on the market and if people panic or just decide to divest then it will be so. Enjoy the ride.
