He's just doing what he said before the election in a way he knows.
By the help of God, he might not eliminate it totally, but he can
minimize it.

President Duterte is doing his best to eradicate illegal drugs in the Philippines, it is up to oneself to help him fulfill such, he is merely a leader and being a leader is a hard job. Without the constituents participation, it will be impossible fulfilling the eradication of illegal drugs.

I don't think the Philippines will be a drug-free nation. Although today's administration is really persevere in terms of eradicating drugs in the country, there are still who will be untamed. I'm afraid that after this administration our country will be back to what it was before  I hope not.

Being a "Drug Free" country cant be achieved if Big time drug lords are still there. But comparing to other presidents, i can say that Pres. Duterte controlled the use of drug in our country better.

Can the president of the Philippines can do it. Well I like what his doing in his campaign. It is very amazing program and very work program in the country. Many were discipline now because of him.
Finally a brave leader who decides to go against the worst menace in our society which is drugs. Though i am not in favor of how they deal with the problem, it is a good start but to say that we are free from drugs, i dont think so.

I'm sure Duterte will be able to expel the Philippines from drugs. However, I think it will come with the price of a lot of bloodshed. Too many indiscriminate killing happens no thanks to corrupt police who use free government to kill political rivals and such.

He can. Together with his countrymen.
A good leader has good followers. It is better that everyone on the country has the same goal to achieve it. Easier to resolve and faster.
He also knows what is good for his country and for the good of his citizens.

Philippines can be drug free even without president Duterte. Only if people will cooperate with the law and stop selling drugs.
Stop using it. They should make the punishment heavier for those who don't follow.

President Duterte's campaign war on drugs here in the phillipines..hope this country will free on drugs

It will be very difficult to completely eradicate the drug trade. The reason is that as long as the demand is there, the drug peddlers will continue to bring drugs to the country. With drugs such as methamphetamine getting increasingly hard to get, the prices have increased by manifold. And a lot of people will be attracted by the huge amount of money, which can be made by selling drugs.

To be a 100% drug free would be hard to achieve. But a single drug pusher taken out solves at least some of the causes of crime related incidents. Many lives will be spared because this single drug pusher caters to many of these addicted users. I think the Presidents efforts have paid off. He had eradicated most of the big time drug dealers and now drugs are not so rampant and they are hiding in fear.

I have to admit that every time I went to the office at 12 am. I find very scary walking on the street waiting for a cab before DUTERTE became a president.  Yet now I fear not the drug addicts anymore but the police that was roaming around sometimes and would look at me like as if I may be one of them.

if you look like a drug dependent, it may as well be true  Grin if you have been with drugs before and had mingled with friends who do up to now, you really will have to look behind your shoulder every time you freely walk because you know you are about to be tokhanged. someone from the past listed your name lol. if one day we ever noticed you aren't around here anymore, i would think you already are tokhanged.

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte in Manila opened the Summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN Summit). In his speech, Dutertte wanted an ASEAN-free drug race before the deadly drug kills many people.
"We must be firm in realizing the dream of Southeast Asia free of illegal drugs," said Duterte in front of ASEAN heads of state who attended in Manila, including President of Indonesia Joko Widodo

Drug free in the Philippines I believed the president can do it as long the around give supporters to the government together to solved the problem.

That's not possible. Filipinos are not united and probably won't be happening. Drug problem all over the world is still unsolve until now, including the countries who can finance and impose its law properly.

If you look at it right now, isn't it a desperation that Duterte keeps on moving the authority on drugs between PDEA and PNP and vice versa? I am thinking that it is a sign that there is no proper plan or probably none at all to solve this drug problem.
