I dont think so our president in the philippines can do it, but now i see his forcing the law to obey the drug lord and drug users etc. If the philippines will be drug free i think after his presidency.

This is not only depends on the president, but also in the people of the country. The president only influence others to do such things like drug avoidance. And people's reaction will be the one that tell the president's authority. Still, it is a general effort that is led by the president.

Just interesting, is Duterte campaign effective against dark web (TOR) marketplaces? I don't think so!
Most likely drugs' distribution just moved online from street vendors and usage haven't changed.

I don't think also that Philippines is free from those drug dealers and users. As what I've observed, they're just lie low from their monkey business , but it never stopped.

I'm sure Duterte will be able rid the Philippines of drugs. However, I think it will come at the price of lot of bloodshed. Too many indiscriminate killings are happening no thanks to the corrupt police force which uses the free reign to kill political rivals and such.

i think the president can atleast reduce the drug related cases here in our country , but he cannot make philippines a drug free country , countries that are battling illegal drugs are not completely  free ,they have just reduce there cases on drugs , even if president duterte finish his term he cannot free philippines from drugs .

We can't illiminate drugs in the Philippines. As long as there were many users were addicted on it, there will be circulation of drugs. Also, there were many politicians protecting it due to aiming for protection money. We can reduce it by the works of some good police who were sincere on resolving drugs, however there were also bad police getting money from drugs.

I think the drug free campaign of the Philippines president is really violated the human right . Killing is not the good way to solve the problem.

I don't condone the killings. But at the same time, I would say that the authorities were having relatively few options. Before the campaign started, the drug gangs were killing a lot of people, including informants and bystanders. Now the difference is that most of those who are getting killed are drug paddlers themselves.

It is true that there has been an innovation when it comes to recreational use of drugs in the Philippines. There has been a lot of raids and arrested drug pushers and users who are commonly subject for rehabilitation or jail. Still, I believe that there are still drugs around due to crimes which are caused by too much use of drugs.

Drug cases in the Philippines is really worrisome. But more worrisome is the approach the president of the country is deploying in the fight against drugs. There is a need for a multi-faceted approach. The approach being adopted right now cannot completely rid the country of drug related crimes. The security forces have in the guise of fighting drugs crime resorted to extrajudicial killings without recourse for human rights.

Every criminali will suggest that he grants amnesty to drug lords and begin to work towards ensuring that they surrender their drugs and arms while the security forces still work within the law to bring to justice those who remain adamant

I think he is capable, I read many articles that review his policies that are good for the country and its people.
one of his commitments is to combat drug abuse in his country, his firm policy and concrete actions on drug eradication make him quite respectful and fully supported by the authorities and the Filipino community.
I think there will never a time (but i'm hoping someday) that illegal drugs can be vanished or defeat by the authorities, as long as the people are still using and addicted to it a market will still exist even if there is a strong implementation of crime against drugs.

We're hoping that the drugs be remove in the system of filipino people. For the sake of our countrymen and all the innocent citizens living in the Philippines.
