Has bought computer parts with BTC

I also bought some usb eruptors and a raspberry pi from a local dealer nearby; he says he actually buys them from amazon and accepts bitcoin as payment cause he wants to start investing in them.

I have bought me a few digital goods with bitcoins, but I have never seen a "bitcoin accepted" sign anywhere in a shop in the city I live.
I know that we had a Bitcoin ATM, but it was more like a test run. And it got removed after the test was finished.
Realy sad my city made a step backwards in terms of bitcoins.

At this stage its really difficult to spend bitcoin physically, as I don't see any development in my country related to bitcoin, so spending it online is the only option left.
yes same is our position. there is no shopping mall petrol pump or anyother shops where we can use bitcoin or even do exchange. but we are expected that very soon the situation will change.

Don't worry dude it will soon to happen, that petroleum companies will going to accept bitcoin soon as many of them are accepting credit cards,
when they see the convenience of use with bitcoin they will going to use it.

Things will change in future for sure but we don't know when exactly it will happen, so I prefer to convert my bitcoins to fiat currency and then spend.

I have been to Berlin (Kreuzberg and Prenzlau) once. There are coffee shops and small bars where you could pay with Bitcoin. I tried that during my stay twice and it worked very well.
I have spend some coins in real life but that was in a other country, the country that I live in you cannot make use of Bitcoins at the stores here. I think that that is going to change sooner or later.

I spend mostly on trading altcoins, but not really on physical stores, if that is what you mean by "real life". There are just not a lot of options on which I would want to spend my bitcoin on. Hopefully in the future, there will be more merchants accepting it as payment and we will all be happy in "real life".

This is happening to me now also. At first I have used it to trade for fiat to buy some necessities but now it is different. I want to grow it more in different kinds. And I see altcoins is a good way to grow it.

No store near me accept bitocoin and I doubt they will for a long while. If they did that would be nice and all but my country just dislikes anything cryptographic related. As more people become aware of bitcoins more places will accept it.
Really there is not much of stores accepting bitcoin in the offline stores. On the other side services for bitcoin in the online market is increasing day by day, still only limited products were available. So I just convert it and use in my daily life.

Well i actually just convert my bitcoins into fiat and buy stuff like groceries and phone credit. I heard we have a bitcoin ATM in the capital, some restraunts tipping bitcoin and a couple of companies paying in bitcoin; but i haven't really gone to check them out yet. Currently i am mostly saving the coins and it looks good keeping all the bitcoin in the wallet  Wink

I never spend any Bitcoin in real life because there are just no stores that accept them where I am from. Maybe in the future that is going to change and stores will be able to accept them.

Yup, for now it is indeed only a few stores that accept bitcoin as means of payment, whether it's Online store as well as Real stores. Many of want to accept Bitcoin payments, because they are aware of the advantages they can get if you receive a payment as a tool of Bitcoin: for the price of the Bitcoin is not static.

That is the problem that most of the users are facing, but its good then we can spend it online now as many sites have started to accept bitcoin as a mode of payment.

Exactly at this stage we can only spend it for online stuffs, as not many offline stores are available where we can spend our coins to buy anything, but things will change in coming years.
