It is simply just misunderstanding that you guys had. What should be said is the fact that if you are ever going to gamble, know that the biggest possibility is you will lose your money. What can you do about this? Just focus on depositing a limited amount and do not deposit again for that period, I do that for years now, deposit 50 bucks per month and do not change that number, if I lose it on day one then I do not gamble at all for the whole month, if I end up winning then withdraw 50 bucks and use that for next month and lose the earnings.
This way you would have entertainment, lose a lot less money, be in control and you can still have fun while gambling without worrying about what will happen. Obviously it is not great to know that you will lose all of your money as the biggest chance, but at least you would be ready for it when that happens.
That is exactly what he was saying, if you could have a controlled gambling instead of an addiction then it would be great. Definitely chasing it makes no sense, if you are good at something then stop and do not gamble it too much but at the end of the day there is really nothing that would be impossible to do in gambling, you could lose a million dollars and have zero or you could start with nearly zero and have a million dollars.
Obviously that is not something that we could be certain about and we all know how unlikely it is to reach there but at the end of the day it is not impossible and that is why people gamble. Chasing your dream in gambling is risky, but if you are not addicted and controlling your bankroll, it is one of few ways to get wealthy in span of few days.
Anyone who has been around long enough to realize that gambling is not something that is as easy as picking apples would tell you that it has different affects on people. For example you can gamble with limited amount of money to keep yourself from gambling more, while someone else may add more and more deposit on it because they can't stop themselves from gambling, or someone else may put money in like you but do not even care enough to gamble and just dislike it and maybe withdraw without playing too much since they found it boring.
It is not just one stop shop, everyone has different games they like as well, I may fall into slot trap and not get out for years, but dislike sports betting all together and not find it funny. All these variations means that every single person is different when it comes to gambling and will not have the same reactions.
