I don't see the need to add more options for registration. I don't know if other gambling platforms use steam logins but it should be a great feature for duelbits users compared to other platforms.
On the contrary, we should be looking for more anonymous options to use the platform.

Most of them were formerly CSGO-only gambling sites, which relied primarily on skin trading via the Steam platform.

They still do but have embraced the full casino experience to become mainstream.

...Do you block IP addresses from these regions?
Can anyone also explain why Curacao is included in the banned regions in Duelbits ToS even though they got their license to operate there?
Below is the answer to your question.

Banned and Restricted Regions
Banned Regions
People living or having a permanent or temporary residence in any of these countries are not entitled to register an Account on duelbits.com or use any of the Service on www.duelbits.com.

Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, France, The Netherlands, Saba, Statia, St. Maarten, Singapore, and the USA. This includes all of the named Nations' Territories.
I already found out the answer to my first question. I was the one who provided that. Putting the banned regions, however, doesn't answer my second question. I know the residents in Curacao are banned from using Duelbits and I'm asking why is that? Duelbits is registered and licensed in Curacao so why ban residents there?
Maybe the registration process and the entire procedure can be done in a short term with ease, but the countrymen are restricted from gambling. Possibly that's the reason why duelbits is registered on Curacao and banned from usage within the same country.

Ok, if you are relating to the reason why Curacao was included among the restricted countries, only the team can say the genuine reason but the last time i checked gambling site can not operate outside the contract (rules and regulations) of their service provider/Master license holder and if they are allowed to operate in Curacao they have no reason to include it in their restricted country list.

When connecting our google account, we only do the registration.  That's just automatic because you don't have to manually enter your email address and password.  It allows you to use your desired username and almost all platforms with sign-up / in form can change the password in the account settings (depending on the set of rules of a site how long you can change the password after it is changed).  Also, it is easy to create a new email, dummy/alternative if you are not comfortable connecting to your main google account.  The same thing happens with signing up because you still need to provide an email address to recover your account in case you forget your password.

This site is really strange. Payed it a visit and want to register, but that button is not even on the page.

And when I want to sign in, I could not even create an account. Now users are forced to login with existing accounts from gmail and steam, not exactly a good association with bitcoin.

What's wrong with this DuelBits site? I think it is natural for those who want to register and there are only two options with google or steam for me this is commonplace on gambling sites because they want to connect to these two accounts and choose one of them.

I think bitcoin is only used for deposits and betting has nothing to do with registering. First you have to understand that because most of the gambling sites apply the same thing as DuelBits.

Nope I cant agree with the bold statement, not many sites (at least in this bitcoin gambling industry) implement the same thing as duelbits.
If you say so, how many sites in this bitcoin gambling industry that you know has no sign up/registration like duelbits? I doubt you can mention 10 names because most bitcoin gambling sites has registration/sign up process instead of connecting steam/google account in order to play.
He is suggesting duelbits to have the most common registration process where people can create username and password.

The site was a fiat base gambling site before and they just implemented crypto payment I think that's the reason why they initial used such a sign-in/sign-up procedure. However, I find out that someone has already asked this same question before, and this what the team has to say about it.
Hi, we  have on-site account creation coming soon, we targeted the steam audience at first .

It looks like support is too busy with the website and could not answer some questions here.

I tried to sign moments ago and this message popped up

Your region is blocked from accessing Duelbits. Some functionality may be limited. If you are using a VPN, please try disabling it.

So there's the answer to my question.

Jack of all trades 💯
Upon checking this site, the options to sign in is via steam or gmail only, are you going to add more options in the future? I have checked this site as I see they have their sig campaign here in the forum.
I don't see the need to add more options for registration. I don't know if other gambling platforms use steam logins but it should be a great feature for duelbits users compared to other platforms.
On the contrary, we should be looking for more anonymous options to use the platform.

I saw others give the option to use your facebook account, but nah, I won't even go to that route. We all know that we want to be anonymous at least when playing online. So for me, a gmail account will be suffice. But according to @duelbits, they will be coming up with new registrations? Let's see how it goes.

Thank you for your feedback @Hhampuz instant withdrawals is one feature that I really like about online casinos. I will try it next week for sure.  Smiley

So easy for gamblers to choose Gmail since they could easily protect their identity by creating a dummy mail intended for gambling and for this option we can assure that our identity is safe and also our gambling accounts are in good shape. And I really don't like the log in option via Facebook since it doesn't give me any comfort and I'm bit worried on what will happen to our important accounts once theirs something bad happen to the site.

Meh.
Just thought I'd stop by and mention that withdraws are indeed instant! I just made one a few hours ago and it showed up in my wallet within seconds (with a high fee too so it confirmed in the next block).

Keep it up, DuelBits Smiley
How about fees? Do DuelBits wave the fee for customers? It is interesting and attractive thing for gamblers if the company waive the fees and also give customers instant withdrawals. They have to take into consideration negative problems when fee on the network is too high.

There was a minor fee deducted from the withdraw, a few $ IIRC. However the fee they used to send the tx to get in the next block was much higher than what I paid so it's fair game  Grin

It's better to make that happen, finding other options to make your gabling anonymously cater the sole purpose of cryptocurrency, if this platform find the suitable then it's good to offer it to their participants.

But for now, this options to sign up is fair enough for everyone who wanted to use and bet around this gambling house.

No need or if there's adjustment it will be the owners decisions if they see he needs of adding it.
We have this update coming within the next week, I saw multiple people have suggested it

Thank you everyone for your suggestions!

@Arcas - very interesting finding. As far as I know, Bitdice is one of the earliest dice game we have in crypto sphere and they are operating since since 2016 or least have signature campaigns in this community since that time (correct me if I'm wrong).

They have their own ICO in 2017 which is somewhat a success. However, there are a lot of people accusing them, based on their old Ann thread and continue to the new. So this is quite fascinating what you have uncovered here. But as far as takeover, maybe they want to learn from the experience of Bitdice and probably wanted to learn from the people behind. Maybe it was the first time we hear some bold move from crypto gaming industry though, it's not common practice, but it doesn't mean though that it is a wrong train of thought, just saying. Anyways lets here their though, that is if they are willing to share it here.

Judging from the following information, we can conclude that the owner has taken over another business and thus did not start his own business. Maybe the operator can explain why they took over the Bitdice company? When I look on the internet, I see that Bitdice itself already has an existing site. It is not common for it to be this way. Serious companies that start a business will always start a new, own company and never take over an existing company. Normally there is a wrong train of thought.
