I guess it's possible to make a living with it in different ways, Either running a big website taking/accepting BTC and therefore making a living with it or using altcoins or trading BTC volatility with USD but those would require a huge sum of BTC's and a moderate risk to invested money...

those options are possible if you were an early adopter of bitcoin. You have a lot of bitcoin by now and you can fund an exchange or a gambling website. Those business can earn you a lot of money these days. But for the likes of us who joined bitcoin later, it will be harder to  find a job that can sustain  a good income in bitcoin.

Yeah if you have bought them when price was below $100 in the past then you would be enjoying huge profits by now and you would have survived without doing anything.
Is this still fine to buy bitcoin as much as we can buy now? Is the price of bitcoin will always rise every year? I hope it will happen. Yeah earning living with bitcoin by make investment such a funding will be profitable because so many new people will use bitcoin.

I am not but I have seen a bunch or so doing that, Practically all of those running exchanges and big exchanges even have teams of full time employee's, Also gambling websites particularly large ones have multiple full time therefore earning a living with BTC.
well if that's the case no doubt if they could make living out of it even pay their employees while bitcoin users out there mostly don't have that much wealth, owning an exchanger could give pretty big profit especiall if there's thousands of bitcoin traded in a day
Yes this is for the big fish and whales out there. For us little people all we can do is find solid places and businesses to invest and slowly grow our capital and gains, but that does take time, the will and good money management skills. Gambling and trading are what I call very high risk ventures and not for the risk averse to be honest.

There are certain risk involve in trading as usual just like in gambling but in trading you can surely analyze the movement of your choice of investment and I think that you can not done this in gambling because of the randomness involve in gambling that is why I think it is best to trade than to gamble your money or bitcoin.
In trading you make your decisions and research,it's somewhat similar to sports betting really

I  earn a little through bitcoin but its not sufficient for my living. Now im considering bitcoin earning only as a secondary income. Just now i have started trading in bitcoins. When my earning in btc increases, then i will quit my job and foccus fully on bitcoin

I am hoping to build multiple streams of income with Bitcoin. I have two sites and third one soon will be using bitcoin too, so when that happens I plan within 6 months to be earning a full time living with bitcoin. I hope my plan works and goes smoothly.

I'm not yet on that level but, day by day, I'm coming closer to this long term goal.
Part of my BTC funds I will invest in my own online business and hopefully this will speed up whole process Smiley
I'm still optimist and believe that very soon I will be able to get rid from my regular job and that earnings from BTC will replace my regular salary 100 % and even more.

I hope to be able to achieve it aswell. Making a living with bitcoin would be the dream but it's very difficult I can imagine.
Only with freelancing I can imagine actually earning enough bitcoin to live from any other way I don't see it happening.

You can expect a living from it only if you have multiple ways to earn it, and you need to spend full time on PC and at a moment I don't think I can do it as I don't have different sources to earn it.

Hello guys,

how many of you are earning for living just with bitcoin based projects? If some of you do, can you contribute what do you do?
For me personally it is not possible to earn a living for my self with only Bitcoin as an income, I am not making enough money with Bitcoin to be able to do so.
Maybe if the value in the future becomes higher it might become possible.

Price is not relatively higher at a moment and to earn a living from it we need to earn higher number of coins and it is not possible at this stage, but we can think of it in future if we see really high price.

I earn not thay much for my siggy campaign but it is good for me to start in trading where i get my payments everyweek and i use it to trade and invest in ico waiting to officialy make on market and pump it.

In my point of view when you trading with a huge amount of capital you will get the big profit too if you win on trading. And it can be a living for you if you can get more than 100 Dollars profit every week.

i do not think that it will be such a good idea, i think we should not depend on bitcoin for living because the profit of bitcoin is not fixed. and there are also a chance that the price may fell down to very very low price.

I think the most suggested for me to live in bitcoin is to do invest your bitcoin for your knowledge and skills that you can offer here in our forum..
If you have those skills you can be make a good thing online.. but depends in offers..

As you said, we will be having better life in future by earning and saving bitcoins but earning a living right now is the biggest challenge for me as I do not have any option to earn more bitcoin for a living in both online as well job opportunities in my country.

Even we are receiving decent bitcoin earnings on a regular basis, still why spend bitcoins to support our living?

It's better if it just saved and it can be your great bonus after all. Just let your fiat do the role of supporting your lives and just saved and earned bitcoin.
