Good destruction - ax and fire turned that device into dust, which is probably the best condition in which such a device should exist. I'm still thinking about what it would be appropriate to do with mine - and somehow I would have the greatest satisfaction if I could destroy them in front of the Lord of the Rings (Pascal), considering his attitudes towards those who criticize his company and devices.
The only way to truly destroy the ledger before the Black Lord is in the hot lava of a volcano (or like the T-1000). 
In marketing (advertising) all means are good if it attracts buyers, but I would not buy alternative products just because the company is trying to "ride" on the hype of hatred towards a certain manufacturer. It is not the best way to "throw mud" at competitors, "flaunting" your product as the best solution. The best way from the buyer's position is to provide a device that is technically superior to the "screwed up" competitor. Can Eclipse offer this?
