For 100% efficence of battery there is a battery in rent-
Full Charging time of fast charger is about 1 hour. But you need not charge for 100% to go.
That is not bad for €3.50 to km 150 cost.

I don't want rent a car or parts of it as a service, I want my own car with my own battery pack. Smiley
And it have to cost just like or less than the fuel version, not more.
And it have to sustain many charging cycles, counted in the thousands (I think that 80% of original capacity after 7-10 years should be good).

I think we'll see a big drop in price of Li-ion cells or even a better chemistry will pop-up (graphene?).

I just think it still isn't the right moment, for me, to buy an electric car.  Wink

Really they can be charged in 1 hour for a full battery? If so that's great why does the governments not get involved in getting sellers to sell cheaper to save our planet?

I'm just waiting for the battery tecnology to improve, mainly in terms of costs and longevity.
Also the charging time and weight of battery packs

The main problem is the cost of battery and battery life.
-snip-

I agree. I'm just waiting for the battery tecnology to improve, mainly in terms of costs and longevity.
Also the charging time and weight of battery packs are two other aspects where I think/hope we'll see great improvements soon, even if they're not as important as the first two.

In any case, I think we all can agree that the path is already set for electric vehicles.

Electric vehicles are future and one of the ways to save the planet. They would be in much more massive use by now if there wasn't so much money involved regarding oil and strong influence of rich Arab countries whose existance depends on oil.

I was just passing through Austria yesterday and saw three Tesla's in the space of 1 mile, interesting to see how they are becoming popular around the globe. Still think they copied a lot of the Aston Martin design though
I think theres nothing bad in taking from aston.
Its like having issues with a painter that paints like Van Gogh.
Take from the best, ashame the rest.

Being inspired by a certain artist, as in the example you used, is a lot different than blatantly copying the whole design. The entire body shape and styling is identical to an Aston Martin, they say copying is the sincerest form of flattery - in this case it's just lazy.
"copying is the sincerest form of flattery" Yes this is the sentence i was missing.
Everyone is entitled to his own opinions, You say its lazy i say those lines, shapes are determinated by science,
we will see this more in the future. Computers and engineers forging bodyworks instead of disigners and artists.
Cx (areodinamics) plays the main role in this show.

In around 10 years that would be the only mode of transport available, as fuel will be pretty scarce by then. I would definitely get one if i can.

This looking really good! But price of one is probably very high.
We must wait for global adoption, just like bitcoin.
