I think he's in for crypto for a long term because he knows what crypto can offer at the long run, likewise he's in for the gains also, when he bought bitcoin we all know because he informed the whole world via his twitter account, when he sold at profit also we get to know a couple of months after from him indirectly and from a third party. I believe that a lot of people have get to know more about Tesla after promoting crypto few months ago. He's in for everything, the gain, the attention, to promote his Tesla and long term investment in crypto most especially dogecoin

the running joke on twitter is:
stupid media (fox news and other crap news media) do not do any actual real reporting on real news events. instead they just glamourise whatever is trending/on twitter by using twitter as their news story sources.. without even bothering to validate if the tweets are real or jokes

That's just a marketing play I suppose. It gives people the thought "wow they're the future" and gives them an illusion that Elon is interested in the same things they are interested in. Musk is just a good businessman. I don't think that he has a lot of time to study the crypto market and get involved in it.
He might not have the time but Elon has the space to accommodate Blockchain enthusiasts, I believe the doge coin he was Shilling some months ago may have not be his idea, someone may have suggested that for him, he doesn't have time for diggings or DYOR in details. Some of his comments on doge coin scales more than bitcoin proves that he doesn't no shit about bitcoin, he is just a man who employee good guys with big IQ and talent to run his business, that's exactly how he successfully run Tesla and the launch of spaceX, he doesn't know how that shit work, people work for him.
You should begin to be skeptical on what Elon was really doing when he was shilling dogecoin. He knew what he was doing. Also, he has divorced from 3 wives who might have gotten a large share of his assets. He will be needing some extra money hehehehe and do not underestimate human greed.
Also, Elon has a large following in social media and he loves to troll. How can he profit from this? Shill a coin traded in an unregulated market where the SEC cannot give him legal problems. Elon is a cold blooded profiteer.
He could just easily create his own coin or token and just shill it to his massive amount of followers on all media platforms if he was in the quest for profits.
But he is not and just only loathes the attention he garners from giving attention to anything he wants to.
And this inturn brings more attention and thus profits to his own companies.
So if he was to do anything with cryptocurrenies than it wouldn't be to make any money out of it.

If you ask me about that I will says there is a no doubt with that Elon musk is just an attention seeker on crypto And through those activities he is earning his profits. I think he is only looking at crypto for his profit. Yes but it is true that after Elon musk came to cryptocurrency development took place. But I think it has further confused the market situation. I think most people have already understood that he is only here to seek attention for his own interests.
Many of us make negative comments about Elon Musk but many of us don't know about his immense contribution to cryptocurrency. Everyone comes to the trading business to make profit but everyone won’t be success. Now Elon Musk is a role model in cryptocurrency. If you raise a question you will get answer that how did so many investors come to the crypto market today? He has also invested in crypto market. I consider him as a successful trader and businessman.I believe he even recently stated that bitcoin was not going to last but at the same time said doge coin has potential.
This is pretty skewed thinking to a cryptocurrency enthusiasts.

Again, nothing that separates him from at least 80% of crypto investors.Most are into it for financial gain and nothing more. As it is a currency, and the more you have of it the wealthier you are.
That is pure economics.
Most crypto users have bad comments for Elon Musk. Due to its promotion Doge , SHIB by Elon musk, many people have experienced huge losses by holding SHIB & Doge tokens . Although many have made profit from here but the amount of loss is huge. I think Elon Musk is a greedy man. Who always thinks only about his own improvement

Don't forget, Doge-1 will launch in future and Elon is really having fun with it. "To the Moon“ with Dogecoin, that's what he wants. Save money and be smart to send one rocket into space without paying for it, so if it goes great. And that would make SpaceX even more famous. That's what I think, have some fun and still make his company stronger.
Making some fun with your investment or business? Its not a bad thing but i dont see this way but rather thriving out his best just to put up emphasis and getting more attention on just simply doing things which are obviously for the sake and benefit of his companies and we've seen that in the past on how he had make out some manipulation just for his benefit which it wont really be that

some experience in the past and investors becomes even more wiser on anytime they do experience failures or something that talks about getting fooled or manipulated.
