Twitter having a rival competitor is certainly surprising to read about and it being facebook or meta after it's rebranding is sort of a shock since they could of had done it when Elon Musk took over several months ago.
Because at this point he is just getting a foot hold of how he wants the company to operate and has already settled into his role as CEO.

In an increase in the state of crisis which the Twitter company is going through, run by the great Elon Musk, Meta announced today in an article published by CNN that it is considering creating a new and independent platform for sharing text updates, in what could represent the new, more powerful competitor that the Twitter platform may face. The article also mentioned that the new platform that Meta will create can benefit from the existing large user base of the company's other platforms (Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger), including two billion people who use Facebook daily.

The most important question to be asked is Do we like Elon Musk here? If yes, then we will appreciate his tweet regardless of what he has to say because it is Elon Musk. If not, we'll probably continue to hate it. Despite all the great things he has done. In general, Musk is a visionary and a great entrepreneur who has a lot of experience and success in all fields, including philanthropy. He is the CEO of Tesla Motors, Inc and SpaceX.
To be honest, I don't really like Elon but who care , even though he is the richest person, because in my opinion, Elon is a person who only thinks about his profits, doesn't think about the impact on the people who follow him.

I don't think anybody really likes what he has done since his acquisition of twitter with all the media outlets showing pictures of how employees have been treated at their offices globally and the emails documented disclosed in their arguments towards the billionaire.

I think that its all a strategic game for musk. Idk what he plans to do with DOGE but I am certain that he has a plan to keep hyping things up the way he has done historically. So Tesla's Elon has donated $2 billion in it's own stock to charity. Yet they were to two of his own foundations so that money just gets recycled back into his wealthy empire.

@2girls About your later statement on doge coin.
I would have to agree, we do not know how alot of transactions made on this algorithm will affect it's transaction's fee.
Also with talk of it going from proof of work to proof of stake means something is shaking up that could affect it's operation on it's network.
For better or for worse. Only time will tell.
So if they do pick a cryptocurrency to go with then it should be BTC because it is tried and tested the longest and the most resilient one of them all.
Doge coin is a joke coin and it always will be. When they convert to proof of stake they will cement that idea into peoples heads because that is one of the things it had a benefit of using. We will see dogecoin die a slow eventual death and the popularity is because of people like elon encouraging people to waste their money on a meme coin. meme coins are worthless and I cannot wait until the meme culture dies and we do not have these stupid coins. I would have to agree, we do not know how alot of transactions made on this algorithm will affect it's transaction's fee.

Do not think it is just because of attention. His whole image is build on this
You think he does all that crazy things just be noticed and get some attention? You dont need to have billions to be noted, invest and develop. Why strain yourself so much, when you can achieve same result will less effort (if we talk just about attention).
I still support crazy theories that he is one of creator or investors of dogecoin. Why the hell then he give so much attention to it? There are lots of other mems he could use. About his wish to earn money. Businessmen is always aimed to earn more, no doubt. But I think at some point, when you have like half a billion or hundred of millions, you just stop to realize the amount of money you have. That is enough to get anything you want. So you just earn, not because you still think that few billions is not enough for you. I mean with 200kk and with 1b you still can allow yourself everything. Id say that he is not doing everything for attention, but that is the only way he knows how to express himself.

I think sometimes that this man is not in support of all the cryptocurrencies but having support to the limited cryptocurrencies and which it promotes I don't want it to dominate over Bitcoin so I will say for my own reasons and the faculty thinking that it does not really like the growth of Bitcoin but order what currency is under it promotion

Elon Musk is a business man and he knows how to play his game well. I like him for that because he had been using different avenue to make sure to he boost his business with any means possible. He opt I to the use of Bitcoin and use it to improve his business by selling large quantities of his battery vehicles which made his company more popular than before.
