Dogecoin is a perfect example of a manipulated market. The coin has skyrocketed under the influence of just a few tweets, which have no fundamental support. Investors and traders who have no basic knowledge are the only ones who have participated in this manipulated pump. This is totally social media influence and I don't believe such types of pumping signal. Maybe he is attention seeker or trying to show how to regulate/manipulate crypto market.
I have heard several times about doge manipulation just because of this tweet from Elon Musk, of course this is a big influence not only on investors who don't know the basics but there are lots of whales inside who keep doing this, so even novice investors will go in there to buy. because the pumps are so high every day but aren't you tempted to see the doge at such a high pump? Or do you just see it?
Doge does not have basic support but many people like him to the point that it is $ 0.5 from the lowest price so all of that will focus on the doge especially influenced by Elon Musk's social media.

The most interesting thing is that Dogecoin has no reason for growth, except for the manipulation from Elon Musk. Dodgecoin does not contain any technology. This is exclusively a game of roulette, where Elon Musk will win, and most people will lose their funds. I assure you.

Now he posted that a cargo will be sent to the Moon and the payment was made with Doge. Big deal. You could pay it with Litecoin as well. The manipulation schemes go on to pump the price.

I sold all my Dogecoins to BTC and I'm out of this bad movie, my time is too valuable to waste it on this joke.

I wouldn't trust my finances too much when you have to deal with a narcissistic manipulator person. He admitted himself he is a narcissist (but a useful one lol whatever that means) so what else do you expect. Be cautious, don't be a blind sheep.

Elon did came into crypto at the time when btc was making headlines, many institutions have taken note of btc and already invested, Elon is a business man, he must have taken note of this and liked what he saw, besides, as a popular figure, announcing to the public Tesla invested 1.5 billion on btc was definitely a smart moves to draw more attention to him and his business, so I think the whole Elon involvement is mostly to draw attention.
Elon Musk is not actively investing when he was asked about the cryptocurrency market a few years ago and then he started an obsession to start tweeting about Dogecoin and that is where he started the cult that pumped Doge whenever he tweeted about the coin and he is much popular well before announcing about his company investing in Bitcoin as some of his tweets about his company made huge changes in the stock market in both the directions.

Miley Cyrus wearing Doge, its funny but its also going to be a massive promotion to the youth.

Though I'm starting to look at him as the next John Macafee, this is still a big promotion for Doge. The Doge millionaire guy actually believes that Dogecoin will be a household name after this Elon announcement on SNL. Nothing to lose for Elon, he is going to win a lot of money from this.
Elon enforced his terrorist policies against Doge that originated from his SNL night. Surely, those who follow the hype have recognized the big lesson for themselves and I don't think they'll continue to be puppets on this "ridiculous" hype. I think Elon continued to generate attention from Tweet until Tesla's stock changed and turned to sparkle.

Elon will let go of the doge at $1

Elon musk is not 100% into crypto, he is playing the crypto gambling game with his huge Twitter audience.
  • Bought doge at the lowest price.
  • Tweet about it and pump it to the moon
  • People buy at the highest price
  • He sells and dumps everyone in it
  • Invest more on Tesla
there would be a massive dump once doge 🐕  hit $1 from Elon and his elites who owns about 50% of doge tokens

Elon is about to triple his fortunes, do not hodl dogecoin for long

Interesting on how while it aired the value continued to plummet.
So I don't think those who invested liked what they heard.

They were thinking he was going to promote it just by saying it but it backfired by making it as a side joke with his mother saying "Not dogecoin" and as a shady asset as the desk reporter.

Here is a youtuber who documented it during the broadcast of the live show while it happened with the price ticker watch.

And then the after math:

What are your thoughts of what you saw and your opinion of what will happen to doge now.

No matter what His motive is , yet we cannot deny that Elon is really making the market shaking nowadays , His every tweets effects the movement each time.

So what ever He wanted is, the important thing for me is riding with him to make a profit time to time.

Well i don't want to be a bearer of bad news because i think that we need people like Elon Musk to bring innovation and new ideas to the table but none the less the whole Elon crypto hype maybe a way to pump the crypto market. I think his company invested around a billion or so in bitcoin and sold to a profit.

Now I wonder what is the innovation and new Ideas Elon Musk had brought to cryptocurrency?  All I hear is just hype and hype to lure new investors to a specific cryptocurrency and nothing else.  I believe his stunt is not to promote the crypto industry but to boost the exposure of his own company and at the same time make profit created by his hype..

Not too sure how all of you portrayed his mention of crypto and what his entire view of the other markets were to him other than proclaiming himself as the dogefather.
Whatever that really means. Undecided

The thing at the news desk during weekend update skit was cringe worthy calling all and everything a hustle.
I can see everything involved in the alt-coin markets being like this but not the serious projects such as bitcoin.
So their way of swinging a paint brush for the entire crypto industry was shown in poor taste.
Well in my view anyways. But what do I know really. Embarrassed

Elon Musk used his calculations and setup when he poured out twitter lines to make Doge go crazy in an abstract way when it was born.  In essence, even the first two CEOs, Doge, are also discouraged because Doge cannot become the core "financial asset" in the market.  a private wallet containing 28% of the total current supply.  Although, it cannot be proven yet, the community will take the consequences, and if it was a puppet on Elon's words then He would take advantage of it and do the opposite.  Doge is now a gamble.

Doge may be the only strategic card to end the slippage in Tesla shares.

Because of the popularity of Elon musk, there are a lot of people who easily encourage by his word of wisdom not only with Elon there are a lot of celebrities who can easily gather up more people to make an investment. I think we consider Elon as a part of large investors and as you can see he adopt the use of the cryptocurrency just to gain more people related to it and now he accepts the use of the crypto especially the bitcoin for the payment of tesla if they want its a good another option for their consumers but still it's good to hold than getting the courage to buy tesla.

i think hes just having fun. and the doge phenomenon is fun to play with especially when you dont really care about money (to a point anyway).

sorta like hes testing doge like he tests rockets. beat it, test to destruction (or success) and learn what you can. then apply anything applicable to the real deal.. bitcoin.

of course being in the media for this doesnt hurt his companies either.

got my doge sells lined up on an exchange, should be fun tonight on SNL.

yeah you're right he did all that for fun. So from the start he didn't care what happened, but if he succeeded he would carry on. it looks like doge and bitcoin, to elon it was all a joke, but everyone thought it was too much. If he's asked to choose, I'm sure he'd prefer his company over crypto.

Im not sure how many of you watched the today's show from SNL, but it looked like they were on to something. I mean just at the start of show he hugged his mother and wished her Happy Mothers day. When she asked are you going to give me DOGE as gift for the mothers day then he replied that Yes, May be! Whether it's a joke or not, but if it is serious thing, then todays dump is actually profit strategy for the Musk.

He will surely buy DOGE for his mother and considering his love and wealth, the amount is gonna be massive. If he does then market will see sharp upward trend. He will earn more profits with that.

It's a well played game by him. They won't leave the DOGE so easily. They will keep manipulating it for their own good and at the same time we should keep in mind that, be alert while he make moves and earn some profits out of it.  Cheesy

It's no secret that the mass media and social networks are capable of manipulating public opinion. Many people recklessly trust the opinion of the  reputable successful individuals and of the majority.

Quite a pity as not many know this smart guys they idolized are just using them to create more wealth for themselves. Elon promoting doge is just for his selfish reasons. He knows bitcoin can't be manipulated like with other altcoins. Today doge dropped approximately -45% with in minutes, and probably many investors would have been rekted by now.

Majority of individual of the general public wants quick money which is what lead then to invest in project that get hyped from this public figures without having any fundamentals or real utilities

With what Elon is doing, I don't think he has the best interest of the industry at heart knowing fully well that when the bubble does burst and the hype is over thousands of speculators will be hurt and this will definitely  paint the industry black as some pump and dump market which will drive away potential investors.
