YES. That's very annoying. At first, I thought that he was a huge Bitcoin supporter, but then he started with all these inconsistent posts and bs, like that investing in Bitcoin wasn't his idea in the first place, he's only an engineer and has nothing to do with the investment team, and then with Doge. I used to believe him, but now I'm starting to see how he tries to manipulate things, and that's disappointing  Cry

With DOGE being down by 30% in 24 hours, I think people soon will start to panic, and DOGE will dump more, lucky are those who were able to sold at a good price so they can already enjoy a profit and transfer that investment to other altcoins with real potential, hype is on, once its over, panic will start.

Yeah it's been quite a Doge Day what can I say. The coin with the biggest drop today. A lot of hype but nothing more than a pump and dump scheme.

I feel sorry about it because I've really loved this coin, but seeing what has become just makes me sad. This is not good for the crypto market in general.

Am I the only one who finds his tweets and market manipulation annoying?

A lot of newbies falling into the trap unfortunately. BTC is strong and won't be affected too much but Dogecoin is just increasing its pump and dump reputation. Sad.
This is why I never wanted all these big guys to be part of the cryptocurrency market, I just wanted the market to be just small investors so that the coins will be shared properly and there wouldn’t be all these big guys that will come in and buy up half of the coins in the market and leave the small amount of the shares to the small investors! And with that they will manipulating the market up and down, seriously that’s annoying.

We don’t even need these guys to be part of the cryptocurrency community because I knew for sure that all they will be doing is just to ruin the market with their manipulation as they seek to make use of their big money to be doing just that, they are only interested in their pockets and doesn’t care about the technology or whatsoever.

It is clear that Elon Musk manipulated the Dogecoin price for a purpose, why is it only Dogecoin that is often manipulated by Elon Musk.
I'm sure Elon Musk has a specific goal, I believe Elon Musk bought Dogecoin first before making tweets about Dogecoin. Since Elon Musk
wants to make a profit from Dogecoin, I believe someone like Elon Musk must have calculated everything. Since it is impossible for
Elon Musk to just play with Dogecoin, someone like Elon Musk would want to profit from crypto as well.

If he does that on purpose and people find out he has a lot of Dogecoins this is a very risky business and I wouldn't like to be in his place. Market manipulation is forbidden by law he should already know that.

It took only 1 year to turn one person into whole cryptocurrency conductor. He says Bitcoin - its price go down, he makes a joke and the price of other altcoin goes down. That is scary because there is nothing to put against him. We are slowly approaching from anonymous and independent payment system into dictatorship. And what worse, what ever he does, his influence on crypto only grows stronger.
In few years the scenario from most of blockbuster movies will be repeated. One powerful persons will lose his mind and people will try to overthrow him.

You are forgetting the fact that his tweets only had a limited impact on Bitcoin. When he tweeted that Bitcoin looks overpriced, the price went down for a short while, but it recovered very soon. On the other hand, the bull run was triggered by real market incidents, such as adoption of cryptocurrency by PayPal and the purchase of BTC by Tesla. We don't need to give too much importance to the tweets by Elon Musk on Bitcoin prices, because in reality they didn't had much of an impact. That said, his tweets succeeded in pumping some of the shitcoins, such as Doge.

yeah, that is how he could easily manipulate the market even just through his tweets, then people got crazy. He was now continuing to enjoy the moment and he proves himself that he can do something big in any aspect of society.
We definitely appreciate his participation in the crypto world but we somehow bothered to what will happen to the future of the market if that so easy, as a single person, a word he speaks and tweets could change the trend. There is something special to this person that we can never found in a normal individual.

People are not foolish at this digital world. Elon has benefit and for this reason he is influencing the market. Without any benefit, why he will tweet for a specific crypto currency? At this current situation, rich are getting more rich by taking benefits from market.
People are not foolish indeed due to flow of information that's faster than ever before however they are still vulnerable from influence by the famous person like Elon, you know everytime there's news about celebrities buying crypto people went crazy same with elon musk that means people aren't really confident in their own opinion and always follows other though I do agree, Elon must have reaped some benefits out of tweeting doge because lets be frank here, making such controversial tweet as a businessman if didn't give you benefit it could only ruin one's reputation and as you've seen most of his tweet also done within this certain intervals after every dump, I might be too overthinking about it but there's always a motive behind certain actions.

Does the OP had any DOGE investments? Probably not. Because someone who has good profits coming from DOGE will not be creating this kind of post. My question would be this, where in the decentralized aspect of cryptocurrency, you know, the wild west no rules aspect of crypto, do you not understand? This is crypto, you don't control what people wants to do with their investments. If you have a significant amount of dollars and wants to beat it out on Elon and other well known crypto investors, then I don't think you should be doing crypto. Maybe e-Toro might work well with you.

Yes I have. But I'm willing to exchange them to BTC as soon as the Dogecoin bullish trend is over. If you would read all the posts you would see that I own both coins so it's clear you haven't understood my message.

Snip---
but i really thank elon with tweet about doge, my fund came back after 3 months stuck in doge
lucky you because the price can be pumped again, it looks like you bought at the top before, so you have to wait so you don't lose a lot?

This euphoria makes a lot of people look for luck by riding the hype, as long as they are not too far behind and can determine the right timing to leave then it doesn't matter. unfortunately often a buy signal appears after the "whales" have filled their bags, and this classic scenario is commonplace, and newbies can only get carried away.
So stay careful, anything can happen, welcome to the world of crypto.

Recently a well-known influencer said that bitcoin was not profitable for the trader (  Huh ) perhaps it is a DOge hodl. That influencer must love El-oN. The added problem is that comment, which begins to create a wrong matrix, based not on a reality of what DOge is, but on the influence of an individual.

"Wrong" but with a rationale based on its price (or bubble) ... -/it seems that EL-On made a bet of "$ 1" with another millionaire friend to remove all the decimal zeros from the DOge and bring it to the nearest integer than is 1./-

It is crazy what has happened to the DOge to see it in the TOp 5 (CMC) seems surprising but the reality is the escalation of its price, it is sad that Doge continues to be the best crypto "mirage" in the market.

He's memeing but you have to keep in mind that he does this with some kind of motive. He bought bitcoin so he knows he has some semblance and reputation in the market. He'd use this power he has to manipulate the people into buying or selling their coins for his own benefit. That's just the way it is.

maybe some thank ELON and some hate him because his tweets always raise doge prices,
I personally also confuse what ELOn wants in manipulating the market, as a beginner I am also sometimes trapped by misleading signals, but not all are misleading

Every person has the right to an opinion and so does Elon. It's not his fault that people follow him and buy when he does.

If you suddenly become popular would you stop tweeting? If your friends and family asked what you're investing in would you lie to not make them do the same?

At least if he praises something he stands by it unlike McAfee.
McAfee is shit and he's not really the same as Elon when it comes on how they do deal up with crypto.I dont see any manipulations on here since this guy is already billionaire.

If it turns out that he was too interested with Doge then who would be the one to stop him on doing so plus making out some publicity about insights on a particular coin that he was interested into?
Its jut the public do really make out some reactions out of these tweets but i dont see for him to mess up the market.

We do have our own free will on making up decisions on our own.

Well, i'm not finding his tweets annoying though, in fact i'm quite grateful for him because he made bitcoin even more popular and spread it to common people who never knew about crypto before. However, it's true that many newbies are coming to this world because of elon musk, but it's not his responsibility of how they do here i guess. Elon musk should just be a starter, but they need to know better and research by themselves about crypto before they decided to come here, don't just believe everything, especially since he's influencer that's probably the words are not always true all the time, mixed with another interest here and there.
